Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

Hey all I hope your doing well!

just another update from me; I had my baseline today and they found a cyst on my left ovary. They sent off bloods to see if it is active (letting off hormones) or inactive (not letting off hormones) and the nurse told me I won’t be able to start treatment if it is active.

After 6.5 hours of waiting, the nurse finally called and confirmed that the cyst is inactive and that I will be starting my first ever round of stims this evening.

Honestly the tears of happiness was and is real!

Finally I can start stims, one step closer to getting my rainbow baby.

Great news @Bellwells! That must have been such an anxious 6.5 hours!! When is your next scan?

@Bookbug92 honestly I don’t know how I managed to hold myself together. My first stims scan is Friday at 9:15 - I’m intrigued to know how many follicles I’ll have.

@Bellwells What a relief! I've got cysts but my clinic didn't do the active/inactive blood test. My cysts were drained earlier this year though due to an infection weeks after failed ET. Puzzled how cysts let off hormones but also a hindrance. My 1st follicle stims scan is tomorrow then Saturday. Got some ovary pains on both sides so hopefully got lots of follicles, good luck on Friday xx

@NaomiNatNat It’s strange isn’t it - I was trying to work out how a cyst could be active or inactive and gave up in the end. Good luck for tomorrow - ovary pain sounds good it usually means you have loads of follicles. Have you got much bloating?

Day 9 scan this morning is showing 3 pack leaders at 17-19mm and then a BIG gap to the next bunch of 4/5 at only 7mm
im feeling massively despondent! Can’t help but compare to last time when I had 6 in the running.
we’re triggering tomorrow for EC on Saturday. I know there’s time for the diddy ones to catch up but they only grew a little bit since the last scan so I don’t think they’re gonna do it 😕

im constantly repeating the quality not quantity mantra to myself but im
not very convinced right now 😐

@Kelb79 Saturday is quite a few days away that's plenty of time for the smaller ones to grow. My clinic said they will keep me stimming longer as there were many smaller ones last cycle that didn't have a chance to grow. Maybe they could do the same with you? Depends on your situation of course as we're all different.

@Bellwells The research is very lacking in the female reproductive system 😪 I'm bloating a bit but I think it's all the protein shakes I'm having. What about you? Sorry if I've missed this but what meds are you on?

@NaomiNatNat what protein shake are you taking?

im on a dual injection of Meriofert and Fostimon between 7 and 9pm then I should be starting Cetrotide at 7am on Saturday morning then trigger is another dual Gonasi and I can’t remember the name of the other trigger atm

@Bellwells sounds quite a cocktail you've got there. What protocol are ypu on? Sounds a lot shorter than mine.
I've got plant protein (brand name For goodness shakes) as I thought it would be more gentle on my stomach than whey protein but it's not.

@NaomiNatNat I’m doing a frozen short cycle. What are you taking, are you on a long protocol?

I’m taking a vanilla flavoured protein shake by Bulk and also a strawberry Alpro yoghurt that contains 20g of protein

@PMAmostofthetime how you doing lovely? That sucks you have to wait so long for your scan, is there no chance they can squeeze you in before holiday? I’m 13dp5dt and they’ve booked my scan for 16th August (which I though sounded really!!) I had my second beta test today and also had my progesterone tested as I had a bit of a scare yesterday waking up with really strong cramping followed by a fainter test line, but they seemed happy with today bloods so 🤞🏻

@Agapanthus13 I go away on the 13th so next week will be too early- so I'll have to wait. I have had sharp cramps today on the right again.

@Agapanthus13 glads bloods are all good- some of these pains are intense sharp cramps. It's scary isn't it. Why doesn't anyone tell you about this stuff x

my underdogs did some epic work overnight!!! 2 have gone from 7mm to 11 and 14mm so we might just get them to join the party!!! I’m ecstatic!!!
taling this cycle as standalone now and not even thinking about stats from the last round - that won’t get me anywhere!
triggering tonight for EC Saturday 8:30am!!

So just done 1st follicle scan.
10 altogether ranging <6 mm to 12 mm
4 on right and 6 on left ovary
My nurse said there might be more hidden but will see at 2nd scan.

Doesn't look like much but it's improvement from last cycle. Hope everyone is doing well 💗

@Kelb79 amazing news :) good luck with the trigger.

@NaomiNatNat they only seen 12 on my scan but I'd actually over stimulated and they got 20 eggs and there were some empty follicles.

@PMAmostofthetime I truly hope so as I had to press down on my belly for her to see more.

So went for 2nd follicle scan this morning. The scan nurse wasn't in so got someone else. This one couldn't be bothered to check thoroughly and told me I have 4 follicles and no cysts 🤣 I wanted to burst out laughing because I had 2 cysts and 10 follicles on Thursday when the scan nurse checked. As you can imagine I can't rely on today's scan 🙄😒 I have a 3rd scan on Monday and praying it's not her again!
