Is anyone else due to start treatment July 2022 or around then?

I thought to make this thread so that we can all have a chat whilst going through treatment so that we don't feel alone.

Fingers crossed for you @Bookbug92. I read in the information that you may bleed or spit on and off for a few week’s and that’s it’s normal so 🤞

@Bookbug92 you have had a needle in and out of you numerous times so that's normal- however after your update on Monday ask to speak to the nurse who will reassure you x

Thanks ladies, it was a lot heavier this morning so my partner insisted I call the advice line for the clinic and the doctor said that as I'm having a freeze all cycle I'm basically having a withdrawal bleed which is to be expected. She said I need to call the planning nurses tomorrow and update them - hopefully they will have good news for us as our embryos will be day 5 then!

@Bookbug92 that's good news as after this one AF and they can hopefully plan your FET :) x

@PMAmostofthetime im ok thanks. Feeling absolutely shattered! I spent most of yesterday on the sofa, been out today but already home & in my pjs 🤣
I’m 10dp5dt today - I’ve been having a pain in my tummy today but my line has been progressing so desperately hopeing all is ok. I’ve got bloods tomorrow 🤞🏻

@Agapanthus13. That's a very clear line! I had a line progression this morning- also exhausted- sharp pain in the right side of my tummy. Let's hope all will be ok for us both and it's normal x

@PMAmostofthetime my pains been in the right side too! I’ll try and remember to ask the nurses tomorrow. The fact we’ve both had the same is surely likely a good sign 🤞🏻 Xx

I’ve just had my day 7 scan in Spain and, typically, my body is doing to opposite!! Going super slow!!!
last time on day 7 I had 12 follicles (6 at 12-18 and 6 at <7) 8 in left, 4 in right.
today I have maybe 3/4 in right - one at 14, a couple around 10 and 3/4 in left all <7 😕
my doctor here really doesn’t seem very thorough on the scanning side of things - she actually said nothing on the right ovary and I made her double check as my day 4 scan had showed 4!
So ive got to go back in 2 days 🤷🏼‍♀️
im hoping it’s a case of slow and steady wins the race but I’m not feeling very optimistic with those stats tbh 😕

So I'm on day 7 of stimming. Got achey ovaries. Left side hurting more and feeling sooo tired all the time. Got follicle scan on Thursday, feeling nervous. Praying I have at least a few follicles growing.
I hope I get pregnant this cycle and at the same time terrified if I do 😨 lol anyone else feeling the same or just me?

@Kelb79 hopefully it will be better news in 2 days time. Slow and steady definitely wins as you don't want them too big yet.

@NaomiNatNat make sure your drinking plenty and up your protein intake- it will reduce the chances of OHSS. I was sore like that and I had 20 eggs collected x

Bleeding stopped thankfully and a nice dye stealing line today.

@PMAmostofthetime Aaar those lines 😍 glad the bleeding stopped you can concentrate more on your baby/babies now 💙💝
My ovaries didn't hurt this much at first cycle, only had 8 eggs then. Maybe it's more this time 🤞 yep plenty of water!

@Kelb79 I'm sure there's more there, my nurse always had to thoroughly search for them in my last cycle as I have a cyst on the right ovary and they hid behind that or were just too small to detect. But they grew quite fast after 1st follicle scan.

@PMAmostofthetime how are you doing today? How did it feel reporting your positive? I asked the nurses and she said the pain I’ve described is pretty normal and just the body adjusting made me feel much better. I went for bloods today, they’re 747 which means nothing to me but the nurse said it was good and told me I’m pregnant which was really weird to hear. I was so stressed waiting for the call I totally brushed over it 🤣

@NaomiNatNat thank you lovely, I’m obsessively testing to check it hasn’t disappeared! It’s all very daunting isn’t it! I totally get where you’re coming from, I try and switch off from it all but sometimes it’s just all consuming. Hope you’re taking it easy. Do you have an idea when EC will be? X

@NaomiNatNat I had 8 eggs first cycle no pain. Only one egg put in so unless it's split it's just 1.

@Agapanthus13 I'm exhausted I didn't sleep all night panicking that when I took a test this morning it would be Negative.
It felt great reporting Scan booked for 30th August as I'm away the week before 😤. The app says I'll be 9 weeks then.
The nurse called me back this morning to congratulate me and I asked about the pain too she said it's progesterone and my own bodies hormones kicking in and to expect a lot more. So that's good.
I know my OH said earlier something that started with because your pregnant 🤣 still don't believe it! Even did a clear blue just to see the word. Still scared and hoping everything goes to plan

We had our day 5 update today, we have two embryos that have been graded A and have been frozen 🥰 the third is developing a little slower so they've left it in the culture tonight along with the scruffy one which is still just about hanging on in there, they will make the final decision on them both in the morning. Seems so surreal to think I finally have two embabies!

Hello, yes I've had the costs for both scenarios. I feel that I've decided the IVF Lite just for the simple fact of the statistics.

I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed and becoming obsessed with research. And it's even more difficult waiting for replies from the clinic 😭 I suppose Im very much the type of person that wants everything done yesterday.

Now it's just the funding aspect! I'm hoping to get a loan or finance which worries me even more as if it doesn't work first time I'll essentially be paying that back for two years 😔

@PMAmostofthetime when you feel the flutters and then see the feet and feel the flips it will all be real then ❤️

@MammyandAva we looked into funding and The best was a virgin Credit card 4 years interest free atm.

IVF is all about waiting unfortunately. Ask away about any questions- there are lots of knowledgable people on here and they can recommend some good books too.

@PMAmostofthetime I'll definitely look into that as my clinic don't offer interest free finance like some others I've seen. I'm hoping to start the process in my September cycle but I need to wait for the clinic to contact me about the donors they have available first. I'll be fine once I have a solid plan in place 🤞🏼
