@IE00 hey it’s been pretty intense in the beginning. First was in limbo waiting to see whether twin 2 would survive but thankful that we have one healthy baby developing. Then had a little scare around 6 weeks with some bleeding but was a subchorionic haematoma which resolved by itself and no further episodes since then. The anxiety has definitely improved the further along I am. I think it felt more real since the 12 week scan and the seeing a proper baby in me. Even got first baby grow and baby shoes to help with visualisation yesterday which was really nice to be able to buy stuff for your own for once. How are you doing? X

@Bluehawaii29 oh no sorry to hear about the other embryo, but amazing you have a beautiful boy! Bleeding sounds stressful, glad it wasn't serious. I also bled with my first, it's awful, but all was fine. Enjoy all the firsts. I'm okay, just in my TWW, very agonising but feeling hopeful. X x

@IE00 ah not you too! It's awful isn't it ! To be honest Saturday sounds like a good day to test, it's nice to have a bit more time to process it ! I hope you have a better day today !

I'll probably end up testing Saturday and then a couple of days after just to be sure as I'll only be 8dp5dt !

Hey Everyone 👋 I've been absent for a while due to life happening! Hope you're all well. I'm glad to see some good news on here, sorry those who are still trying 💕

I'm testing my amh again tomorrow for next review as my first ivf failed and had ovarian cyst drainage surgery in March. I'm pretty sure my amh is too low now and clinic will suggest donor this time.
Does anyone have experience with ovarian cyst drainage (not removal)? Did it affect your fertility?

If this helps anyone, I've had my amh results back and it's now 5.6 which is odd as my amh from 2 years ago was 3.6

Hello again everyone, I am back after my much needed time off ready to start another fun round of IVF in a couple of months.

@NaomiNatNat I tested mine recently too and read that PCOS can give a high value. I'm not sure if it can change if you have PCOS, that's a complete guess but it would kind of make sense if it could.

I have a laparoscopy in a couple of weeks to diagnose endo, and treat it if any is found. Has anyone had this?

@Mochii I have Endo too but no pcos. Had my baseline scan for 2nd ivf last Friday to see what the surgery has done. After my laparoscopy the cysts have shrunk and can now see 6 follicles. I had zero follicles for my previous ivf baseline, so I believe laparoscopy helps (in my case). Thing is my cysts were drained rather than removed. Good luck 💚

Hey everyone. There have been loads and loads of ivf threads, but you guys are always the ones that spring to mind…. How are you all getting on? Anyone heard from tiger86? X

I managed to buy clomid in the end and am now pregnant! Still never got a proper answer about why I couldn't just give it from a consultant or GP but never mind.

Omg that’s amazing @Mochii congratulations!!!! How many weeks are you? So my clinic wouldn’t give me prednisolone- randomly I had a nasty skin reaction in June and was prescribed it. I managed to get a naughty repeat prescription and used it during my last FET- I’m now 8 weeks pregnant! If only my clinic had listened- it may not have taken 5 attempts! So good to hear from you x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 wow congratulations!! Well done for thinking to get the repeat prescription too. I wish I had done that with progesterone during IVF but just didn't think of it at the time. I'm 10 weeks now so close time frame to you.

@Mochii its crazy we have to do our own investigations and prescriptions when we are trusting and paying trained experts. I’m just glad to be where I am, and praying it continues. I wish you a easy and healthy pregnancy :) are you still on meds? I will reduce prednisolone this week and then stop completely at 10 weeks, I remain in progesterone til 12 weeks x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I'm not taking anything at the moment. I took the last of the progesterone I had after ovulation and only had enough to last until my BFP, so I've just been on the pregnant vitamins which feels so strange! You don't have long left on them either now though!

@Mochii Ahhh it must be so nice just to be ‘normal’. I can’t wait to get off the meds, I’m so fed up with the side effects! X

I'm doing well thank you! 32 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Time has flown by! I've loved every minute of it (mostly) 😂.

@Mochii @ExhaustedPigeon1988 Ahhh what fabulous news !!! Congratulations !! Since the first thread that I was on in November a lot of the ladies have actually fallen pregnant ! It's so lovely to hear!! 😊

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 😂I have been on a few now ! I'm about to start my 2nd round of egg collection next week ! I've had a break since my last transfer so I'm raring to go!! 😊

@IVFGotThis05 I never took any breaks, I was recommended to, but I’m super stubborn and head strong, the longest I went was 1 cycle between lol 😂 I wish you all the best for your next round, my 2nd collection got us our 3CB- our lowest grade that I classed as utter rubbish and a waste of a transfer- that’s now growing nicely lol, I was convinced lower grades were a waste- typical our baby would prove me wrong lol. (I nearly discarded it ffs)! I have all faith you will get your BFP this time :) keep in touch x
