@Overlyanxious Will dm you 😃

Overlyanxious · 01/04/2022 16:02

@Gigi89x at the moment feeling particularly bad as I have a cold. Otherwise it's low level nausea everyday. It's weird as it gives me comfort to have it, but I also can't wait to not have it.

Bluebonnet3 · 01/04/2022 16:36

@Overlyanxious the FET will be 5 days after EC (with a 5 day frozen blast), which is Monday. They said they will thaw one in the morning and likely do the transfer that afternoon. Hopefully it thaws correctly so I can save the other for later.

Overlyanxious · 01/04/2022 16:43

@Bluebonnet3 that's exciting - not too many days to wait

Daisychain93x · 02/04/2022 18:43

Hey everyone, I am going to be having a natural FET at the end of this month. Is anyone able to answer how many days after ovulation does the transfer usually take place?

LuckyNovember · 02/04/2022 18:53

Dears, fyi there's also a lively march/April thread for anyone still stimming/2WWing.... I think many of the Jan/Feb ladies are already expecting or taking breaks...

Daisychain93x · 02/04/2022 19:17

@LuckyNovember that’s great to know, thank you! I’ll have a look.

Millymillymillymillymilly · 02/04/2022 20:14

@Gigi89x sorry for the late reply. Have been trying to take some time off googling about pregnancy related topics. 21 days seems about right. They normally use medication to suppress your ovaries and make sure they are inactive the entire time whilst priming your uterus lining. Once it’s thick enough they will start the progesterone. If it’s a 3 day embryo, then 3 days progesterone, and 5 days embryo it’s 5 days progesterone.

When are you looking to start? All the best for this cycle! Good luck!

@Bluehawaii29 - sorry to hear about your scan. However, it’s great you have such a positive attitude! Hope all goes well x

W1ngingit · 04/04/2022 13:57

@Bluehawaii29 sorry to hear about the twin. I hope that you are allowing yourself time to process things. Sounds like you are focusing on the right thing. Fingers and toes crossed for a happy healthy pregnancy and baby!

Bluebonnet3 · 04/04/2022 16:40

Today was FET day! They thawed one of my tested-normal-frosties for transfer, and I have one spare in the freezer. OTD in 9 days.

Embryology update: I had 4 fertilised from my EC last week, and they are all still in the running, although not quite big enough yet to biopsy (for PGT-a). The embryologist will check on them tomorrow (day 6) and hopefully some will be ready to test and freeze.

IVFGotThis05 · 04/04/2022 16:53

Yay congratulations on being PUPO @Bluebonnet3!

I finally asked my clinic about doing a progesterone blood test before my next FET and she just said she will prescribe me Lubion since my prev 2 transfers have failed. And they don't do Embryo glue!?! I'm not sure if she just thought I meant do you off it as an NHS patient or whether the clinic actually just doesn't do it !? I'll mention it face to face once my cycle starts and let them know I am willing to pay ! So hopefully my AF will turn up soon so I can go ahead with my 3rd try !

3rd time lucky don't they say ?!? :)

Congrats and Good luck @Bluebonnet3 🤞 is OTD for frozen normally shorter? My fresh OTD was 12 days

Bluebonnet3 · 04/04/2022 18:06

@NaomiNatNat from reading these threads I get the feeling every clinic has a different test day. My clinic's standard is 14 days from EC (counting EC as day 0). That's 5+9 in my case, as the embryo was frozen on day 5.

I've heard some clinics make you wait 2 full weeks after transfer or even longer. My clinic does blood tests on OTD, so maybe that also makes a difference. Some clinics just have you POAS.

I think it's unusual that I combined a freeze all with a frozen embryo transfer in one cycle. I'm not at particular risk of OHSS and I don't have a high AMH. And they do blood tests every time I go in, so they are keeping a close eye on my medication and hormone levels.

NaomiNatNat · 04/04/2022 19:25

@Bluebonnet3 Your clinic seems more attentive than mine. I had to POAS and no blood tests offered for hormones either.
Hope you're feeling ok after FET xx

Daisychain93x · 04/04/2022 19:29

@Bluebonnet3 I’m glad your transfer went well today! I hope the next 9 days go by quickly for you.

IsabelHerna · 04/04/2022 20:46

Hi ladies, may I join?

I had my cycle on March, transferred last Friday and now I am in the horrible 2ww, taking notes of everything I feel, just in case it turns out to be a symptom 😅

How are all of you holding on?

Gigi89x · 05/04/2022 09:32

@IsabelHerna welcome! Congrats on being Pupo! Im currently waiting to start again next month! How are you feeling?

@Bluebonnet3 congratulations !!! I hope time passes quickly for you! I tried to keep myself busy but it was sooo hard!!! Couldnt help but google all the time lol

@Bluehawaii29 hope your ok! I dm'd you

Bluehawaii29 · 05/04/2022 09:37

@Gigi89x I’m good thanks Smile have messaged you back x

IsabelHerna · 05/04/2022 23:32

@Gigi89x how is waiting treating you? Do they give specific instructions between cycles or is life free again? 😅 Today I'm definitely feeling cramps and pain, but I'm really afraid to be hopeful.

Bluebonnet3 · 06/04/2022 11:16

Meh... embryologist called today (day 7), and none of the 4 blasts have made it to freeze/test. They said yesterday that it looked like one might make it, but no. I knew it was a possibility but still disappointed.

Trying to look at the positives, like I have a good euploid 5BA on board, and I have another euploid in the freezer.

Now to focus on the tww! I'm off the rest of the week and maybe next week as well (I'll decide after the weekend.)

I realised yesterday during my last work zoom call that the work itself isn't necessarily what adds to my stress levels, I think it's my hormones making me react in unreasonable ways towards colleagues' statements in zoom meetings. I just get so enraged! For absolutely no reason. I have to turn off the camera and mute my microphone and swear at my screen & gesticulate wildly. I'm such a lunatic right now, honestly! 🤣 My husband actually came in and decided to 'accidentally turn off the WiFi' to get me to leave the meeting and calm down. Being off work should really help with that, at least! Breathe, stay calm.

Bluehawaii29 · 06/04/2022 11:31

Hi Guys hope you are all well. Another twist in our journey today after we had the 7.5 week scan and it showed both twins are alive ❤️❤️🌈🌈 twin 1 is measuring really good and heart beat strong and twin 2 is also doing ok and 1week behind. We are so thankful and relieved 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Was such a tense week xx

Daisychain93x · 06/04/2022 12:27

@IsabelHerna congratulations on being PUPO! I hope you manage to keep yourself busy in the 2WW.
I’m about to start another cycle
Which will be my first frozen and natural, transfer. Lots of waiting in this game!
@Bluebonnet3 Sorry to hear you are disappointed, but that’s good you are also being positive! I hope the 2WW treats you nicely!
@Bluehawaii29 oh that’s really lovely to hear! I’m so pleased for you.

LuckyNovember · 06/04/2022 13:03

Fabulous twist @Bluehawaii29 🧡🧡

@Bluebonnet3 that's two brilliant chances. Sorry the last one didn't add more, but you might already have all you need! I'm with you in the brutal 2WW, when is your OTD?

@IsabelHerna congrats on being PUPO! When is OTD? Hope you're feeling well 😊

W1ngingit · 06/04/2022 13:30

@Bluehawaii29 Amazing news! So pleased for you!

Bluehawaii29 · 06/04/2022 15:24
