@Bluehawaii29 I was on just 800mg. For what it's worth I was on 800mg with my first baby that was successful.

Does anyone know if hcg should still be doubling every 48 hours between 5-6 weeks or does it slow down post 5 weeks?

@IE00 yeah it’s so hard to know what is right or wrong. The whole process is so hit and miss

Argh I’m on the border line again. It’s doubled every 2.8 days between 14dpt and today which is 24dpt (6+1). I’ve booked an early scan to check if there is a visible sac, wish me luck 😬

@IE00 it’s booked for Monday. I’m fed up of waiting around now as I don’t think it will be positive. I haven’t told the clinic, I don’t trust them since they didn’t believe me about issues I had on my last cycle! I’m going rogue 😂

My fears have become reality. My cycle got cancelled. Yes, I was on 6mg oral tablets. I think the Buserelin was doing too much of a good job.

I am to stop everything immediately, wait for a period and start again. This time, with no Buserelin! I will also go on 6mg estrogen immediately as well as estrogen patches! I can't believe I started this cycle mid January. Two months wasted away. Before that, I missed the xmas cut off in my November cycle and they were closed in January for building works. All in all, 4 months and counting....and still not there.

Commiserations to everyone else who has to do this all over again too.

I just had my scan and unfortunately they did find a sac but it is completely empty 😔

@bluehawaii29 hello sorry message late. scan went well thanks I can't believe it. Was so nervous, but I'm 7 and half weeks and due approx 19th Oct. That's the private clinic discharged me as of today and I'm to get intouch with GP to organise at 12 week scan. I'm gonna go private for a 10 week scan juts to make sure things r progressing OK. How r u?

@EasterBunny7 i feel your pain!! My first cycle was also delayed, delayed, blocked by Christmas holidays... it was 5 months from start to finish!! I'm still not really over it, I genuinely believe that the stress of all the delays undermined the whole thing! Those eggs were exposed to A LOT of cortisol for their full 3 month development 🤦🏻‍♀️ Please find ways to distance yourself from the frustration if you can, it's really hard, but I regret not realising that I needed to do that. Good luck! It will happen 💜

Oh, that's terrible news, I'm so sorry. I wish I could say something to make it better again. Been in somewhat similar situations myself so I can appreciate how painful this must be for you. Give yourself space to get over the shock and allow yourself time to grieve, especially for the first couple of weeks.

I don't like how the clinic put me in buserelin for 31 days where they could have just started me on day 2 of my cycle, just as they will do now.
