@Bluehawaii29

I've got a follow up scan tomorrow. Hoping my lining has made some progress this time and they can ok me for the next stage of transfer.

Bluehawaii29 · 06/03/2022 13:18

Good luck on your scan! X @EasterBunny7

MollyVanDer · 06/03/2022 15:10

@Bluehawaii29 Lubion was just as bad as I remember but if it helps then I'll suck it up. No blood but injection site so tender and swollen!

Had a call from the embryologist and good news we now have a 4 cell embryo on day 2, an embryo that's fertilised and showing good signs, and two more that have fertilised but need to come on a bit.

The one that is four cells is in the top two of their quality scale.

So we still have hope of a 5-day transfer on Wednesday

Congratulations to those with upcoming 6 week scans, gives hope to the rest of us x

Bluehawaii29 · 06/03/2022 15:42

@MollyVanDer wow that’s great news about the cell numbers and fertilisation, fingers crossed you get some nice day 5 blastocysts for transfer, not long now! X

Bluehawaii29 · 06/03/2022 15:43

I went for a short walk outside today, really helped me. I think I’m less scared this time about doing normal activities

Mochii · 06/03/2022 16:30

Talking of normal activities… does anyone know when we can swim again? Is it after first trimester? Whenever I ask my clinic they won’t let me do anything at all so I’m not asking them 😂

Bluehawaii29 · 06/03/2022 16:39

Sorry for tmi but anyone had a progesterone pessary which came out and then had to push it back in before it melted. That just happened to me for the first time. Felt something weird after I put it in like something poking out and then realised it was the pessary 🙈 do you think it will effect absorption now, I think I managed to get most of it back in. I’m on cyclogest 400mg pessaries twice a day. Hoping will get a decent shot tonight with my Lubion at least. Very dubious about these pessaries

Frenchiepupmama · 06/03/2022 17:31

@bluehawaii29 I asked my clinic if I could do lubion shots instead of pessaries as I'd heard the are tricky. The put me on two lubion shots a day. I don't know if that's something you could ask your clinic about as it will take stress out of them melting ect.. Altho injections are quite uncomfortable least u know the full amount is going in.

Gigi89x · 06/03/2022 17:31

@Bluehawaii29 as long as it went back in it sounds like it should be ok. This is tmi too but i actually find it easier doing them the back way than the front. They whizz up there and don't come back 🤣🤣

Mochii · 06/03/2022 17:58

I found a pessary on my kitchen floor once after I saw the dog paw it across the room. Not sure if it came out of me or the packet 😅

Bluehawaii29 · 06/03/2022 18:04

@mochi lol that’s so funny 🤣 @Gigi89x haha not tmi at all, used to this stuff now. Unfortunately can’t do it the back way due to haemorrhoid issues lol @Frenchiepupmama yes this is a good idea. Luckily I didn’t get any discharge since that one went in so it must have gone the right way in the end but if this problem continues I might request the twice a day Lubion even though they are very painful and don’t fancy doing them before work each day!

Gigi89x · 06/03/2022 18:07

@Mochii 🤣🤣🤣

Frenchiepupmama · 06/03/2022 18:32

@bluehawaii29 yes that's a gd plan. Yeah the morning lubion used to make me feel bit sick cos ur just awake lol and then rushing to work. Then evening one I felt better with. They do hurt like hell. I did find running out of spaces I hadnt already stabbed 😂

Justawannabemam · 06/03/2022 19:03

@Bluehawaii29 I'm doing lubion twice a day I do it 6am and 6 pm I set my alarm . I'd much rather do that than the pessaries. So it's worth asking

@Frenchiepupmama I'm the same running out of space that hasn't been pricked. Between bursellin, overleap and lubion my stomach is like a pin cushion x

@Justawannabemam I think if it goes beyond the 2weeks then longer term I’m going to ask to just switch to twice a day Lubion. I just don’t want to make any sudden changes at the moment in these early stages x

Gigi89x · 06/03/2022 19:30

@Bluehawaii29 out of curiosity how long was your frozen cycle in total? & how long was it since your last fresh? x

Justawannabemam · 06/03/2022 19:39

Yeh you do right.

Potentially I could be on this upto 12 weeks. Maybe when I have my scan they'll be able to judge .

Just done my first ever injection was super nervous my partner did it and I'm so glad it's done was nothing at all!! Has anyone had any side effects from gonal f I'm on 225iu

xreadytoglow · 06/03/2022 19:56

@Pinklady81 I filmed me and my wife doing the first injection. It's so lovely to watch again and also quite comical 😂! That's the same as I was on, same Gonal-f and same dose, I didn't have any side effects.

Pinklady81 · 06/03/2022 19:59

@xreadytoglow I wished I had of done that I was in too much of get it over and done with frame of mind at the time but not frantically looking and checking the pen to see if it went back to 0 . Tomorrow should be a breeze have you completed your cycle now?

xreadytoglow · 06/03/2022 20:01

@

xreadytoglow · 06/03/2022 20:02

@Pinklady81 aw I know we were just as nervous too. I have yes 😊 all went well. You'll be a pro after a couple of days. Good luck with it all x

Bluehawaii29 · 06/03/2022 20:03

@Gigi89x started 1st day of AF which was 7th feb and my transfer day was 4th march so 26 days in total. My last fresh cycle test date was 10th December 2021 so just under two months between fresh and frozen cycles

Pinklady81 · 06/03/2022 20:07

@xreadytoglow congratulations so a successful cycle for you? Thank you now the first one is done I feel much more settled

MollyVanDer · 06/03/2022 20:13

@Mochii your story is hilarious.

@Bluehawaii29 I'm on Utrogestan three times a day and they come with an applicator that make sure they shoot right up! Plus 1x Lubion in the night.

Glad you are feeling okay doing normal daily activities. We went to the beach for a dog walk today and it was nice to pass the time
