I just think lots of people would love to have ANY embryo to freeze whatever the grade. My cousin's 16 month was a 3BC and it was a straight forward pregnancy and he's the healthiest out of his group of friends.

None of my 6 frosties are graded above a BB and I'm positive about all of them 🙂🙂

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 01/03/2022 19:37

Thank you ladies for all your lovely messages of support. I'm also really sorry if I have caused any offence- I have NEVER intended that, just simply worrying in my own personal circumstances, I appreciate everyone is completely different x

Gigi89x · 01/03/2022 20:52

I hope everyones doing well. I had my transfer today, 1 5AA. I have another 5AA and a C to freeze and another 3 embryos of lower grade that they're taking to day 6 to see if they can be frozen. My OTD is the 12th - i hope time doesn't go too slowly 👀⏳

xreadytoglow · 01/03/2022 21:23

Congratulations on being PUPO @Gigi89x 🤍

I hope the wait isn't too torturous for you. Make sure you get in enough protein, nutritious food and rest and you know then that you've done all you can and the rest is up to fate! I hope you'll be staring at a positive test soon.

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 01/03/2022 21:25

@NaomiNatNat out of interest where can you get the blood kit from please? X

Gigi89x · 01/03/2022 22:17

@xreadytoglow Thank you & big congrats to you on your amazing news! x 😁

NaomiNatNat · 02/03/2022 07:05

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 Holland and Barrett does one, but I did some brief shopping around for best quality on google.

NaomiNatNat · 02/03/2022 07:11

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 had my eye on this one, remember now medichecks.com/products/pregnancy-blood-test

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 02/03/2022 07:13

Thank you @NaomiNatNat sadly don't need one, 2 tests very clearly negative this morning :( clear blue are shit apparently! Still on meds til Sunday, which is so frustrating, just want to get back to normal already. Best of luck to everyone with tests still to come x

NaomiNatNat · 02/03/2022 07:58

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I'm not a fan of clearblue myself. But the FR and cheapo amazon strips gave me confusing results too (in my case the trigger shot was still lurking or evap line) yours was very visible though! I would still wait a few days if I were you.

ty1982 · 02/03/2022 08:04

Morning so taken another two test this morning 8dp5dt. Stark white line does this mean I'm out. Scouring internet for positive stories x

LuckyNovember · 02/03/2022 08:14

@ty1982 @ExhaustedPigeon1988 i think this is exactly why 2ww is torture!! It's a weird bloated limbo with bonus meds messing with your emotions... especially the second week!! No matter what you try to put yourself out of the misery, it's not over until OTD 🤷🏻‍♀️ courage ladies, you'll make it a few more day and hope you both get a nice surprise at the end of it 🧡🧡

crazycatlady1981 · 02/03/2022 08:20

@ty1982 I think there’s still a chance of a positive showing as late as 9dp, possibly even 10dp if it’s a late implanter. Are you using FRERs? They seem most accurate.

I’m 10dp5dt today and haven’t tested, but I’m already spotting since last night so I know that it’s over for us! This is exactly what happened on my last fresh round. Will test tomorrow with a FRER just to confirm. 😭 💔

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 08:40

@crazycatlady1981 oh no really sorry to hear that. This scares me the most too as I started spotting from 9dpt on my fresh cycle. What progesterone did they have you on this time? I’m still waiting on my consultant to hear if I can go up to twice a day injections. My transfer is Friday, week went so fast in the end. I hope it’s the good kind of spotting for you this time. Stay strong and also @ty1982 @ExhaustedPigeon1988 try not to test every day, normally they say every 48hrs it may get higher but from day to day I’m not sure you would see much difference. I hope your luck changes Flowers xx

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 08:46

Been reading on other forums that some people are just on one injection Lubion a day and no pessaries or one pessary and one injection. Hoping that my twice a day 400mg pessaries and 25mg Lubion injection is enough cover but still going to try and push for twice a day injections if it’s possible. Also don’t want too high progesterone either as that is meant to also be detrimental so I guess I just need to trust in whatever the consultant tells me is best 🤞

crazycatlady1981 · 02/03/2022 09:04

@Bluehawaii29 I’m on one crinone a day which is only 90mg of progesterone. I pushed for progesterone on my natural fet as they weren’t going to give me anything and they gave me 2x 400mg cyclogest that time and I didn’t bleed until 4 days after stopping it, so I do wonder if the crinone is enough!

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 09:09

@crazycatlady1981 never heard of crinone, is that a gel application? yeah does seem odd they didn’t give you pessaries as well this time x

Overlyanxious · 02/03/2022 09:09

@crazycatlady1981 keeping my fingers crossed it's ok spotting instead.

@Bluehawaii29 I think you're doing the right thing to keep checking with the Dr about the amount of progesterone. I'm on 3 x 400mg pessaries so could also ask about upping them - although I know they aren't fun.

@Gigi89x good luck with the tww

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 @ty1982 I'm still keeping those fingers crossed for you.

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 09:12

I’m pretty sure a lot of it has to do with our progesterone levels from day 1 of transfer and maintaining them thereafter. I wish more emphasis was placed on blood testing these levels during our cycle but on nhs they do no blood tests whatsoever. Last time the only way I found out was getting one done at work 10 dpt as I work in a GP surgery but shouldn’t have had to do it myself. If it wasn’t for the info that I got on my first cycle and providing consultant with she wouldn’t have made the decision this time to increase my progesterone so just goes to show that it is useful to know these things! My progesterone was only 34 on 10 dpt in my fresh cycle despite taking the pessaries twice a day. Just hope that I respond better to the Lubion add on

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 09:15

@Overlyanxious thanks for letting me know. are you doing it purely with pessaries or with injection as well? I still get a bit of discharge from the pessaries even when I have been lying down for over half an hr each time. Really hard to know how effective they are tbh

crazycatlady1981 · 02/03/2022 09:23

@Bluehawaii29 yeah it’s a sort of creamy gel! I had it on my first fresh round too which obviously failed. I’m sure my progesterone is too low on natural cycles as well as I get spotting the week before af arrives! It seems mad that clinics don’t all test progesterone. Just by doing a little blood test, it could improve their success rates and save a lot of people going through endless rounds! 🤷🏻‍♀️

xreadytoglow · 02/03/2022 09:29

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 @ty1982 I hope it's just too early. I've seen some stories on here or later positive tests.

@Gigi89x thank you very much 😄 hope you're okay today.

@crazycatlady1981 I'm so sorry 😔 is it worth letting your clinic know to see if you can up your progesterone?
I'm also on the cyclogest pessaries twice daily.

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 09:31

@crazycatlady1981 I know, it just doesn’t make sense to me either and I’m from a medical background so give them a lot of work with all my questions. Going to chase her up today as still no reply

Bluehawaii29 · 02/03/2022 09:36

‘Serum progesterone levels greater than 32.5 ng/ml on the day of embryo transfer are associated with lower live birth rate after artificial endometrial preparation’.
As the article above states it’s a fine balance so I don’t want to risk upping dose too much either. Will definitely not make any changes unless consultant thinks it’s necessary. I guess they are the experts but still would be good to have more blood tests just for that reassurance factor

IVFGotThis05 · 02/03/2022 09:52

@Bluehawaii29 Im catching up and on page 24! I noticed you asked how I was after transfer! Sorry I just had the two days off to just relax and not go on my phone as much ! My transfer went fine, I was in a bit of pain because she said my cervix was hiding! so she had to move the speculum around which was great ! But I'm offically PUPO woo! How are you ?
