@ExhaustedPigeon1988 5 days is so early!!! It's not reliable until 8/9/10 days after transfer (supposed to be the day of your missed period, which is 14 days after ovulation/EC) of course it can show this early, but I think it's more common not to show yet, and (they say 😉) every pregnancy is different. Step away from the sticks, go outside and get some sunshine, and rest again tomorrow x

Justawannabemam · 01/03/2022 14:13

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I would say @LuckyNovember is right a wee bit early . Give it a couple if days . And hopefully it will darken and you'll feel more reassured x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I know I've said this before but I've had 3 cycles, 2 BFP and 1 BFN. I felt different each time. The two BFPs felt very different from each other. I really don't think you can tell by how you feel.

xreadytoglow · 01/03/2022 14:20

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I think I can see something but hard to say for sure. 5 days is very early so may just need a few more days to get darker. Get yourself a FRER and test in 2 days. Everything crossed for you

Bluehawaii29 · 01/03/2022 14:21

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 thanks for letting me know. I’ve asked my consultant if I should be on Lubion twice a day instead of once daily as I am transferring two on Friday and my progesterone was on the low side in the first cycle with my 5AA but that time I had no Lubion at all so maybe it will be enough, no idea 🤷‍♀️

W1ngingit · 01/03/2022 14:22

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 yes, I can see it. Can you put it against a white background? Fingers crossed for you. I guess it's just a case of keep testing!

tulipsandsnow · 01/03/2022 14:30

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 can you get a FRER? Pink dye is more reliable at this stage!

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 01/03/2022 14:36

Thank you so much for the comments ladies. FRER is negative, 2 cheaply amazons were the same as this, and they are all early 6 day tests. I have been called into work, which may save a few hours of driving myself crazy! @Bluehawaii29 if you do yet any spotting after a positive test PLEASE argue your case you want more progesterone, we would be in a whole different position if I had pushed harder :( x

IE00 · 01/03/2022 14:41

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 you have been through hell. I am so sorry. What carelessness for you to have lost them! I still think 6 days is too early. Test again tomorrow morning. Tbh I find the early testing worse, my next round I'll be waiting until OTD. That weird time of potential disappointment between a BFN early and the proper BFN OTD is just awful.

GodspeedJune · 01/03/2022 14:50

ExhaustedPigeon1988 I can definitely see something, didn’t even need to click the photo to make to bigger. I’m keeping everything crossed for you xx

Bluehawaii29 · 01/03/2022 14:58

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 will definitely argue towards more if that happens. Last time didn’t make it to OTD as bleed came a few days earlier but I had been feeling pregnant at one point so who knows

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 01/03/2022 15:03

Still looks darker in real life lol x

This journey has been hell, but I would do it all again for the chance of success. We are more resilient that we realise x

Overlyanxious · 01/03/2022 15:19

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I see something too and I think it's going to get darker over the next few days

Bluehawaii29 · 01/03/2022 15:35

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I see something too! I think it’s just early that’s why it’s not darker. Fingers crossed it gets darker for you xx

ty1982 · 01/03/2022 16:08

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I definitely see the line too! Hopefully it will get darker as the days go on. Will test again tomorrow x

NaomiNatNat · 01/03/2022 16:24

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 My heart aches at your past experience. I can see the line no doubt but get a pink dye frer for next testing in a couple of days (if you can wait that long) I nearly bought a pregnancy blood test kit the other day they're a bit pricey but would give me definite results. Praying it's positive for you, this journey is ridiculously hard ❤

Mochii · 01/03/2022 16:46

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I can definitely see a clear line and I can never usually see anything when people post squinters. Also it’s still quite early, I had nothing until way after this date!

IE00 · 01/03/2022 16:47

@ty1982 really sorry to hear about your news. Hugs

IE00 · 01/03/2022 17:12

Hope it gets darker @ExhaustedPigeon1988!

Dizzyhedgehog · 01/03/2022 18:11

Had my follow-up appointment today. We'll go with the "long protocol" (?) next time to hopefully improve my egg quality. Since we're going to be on holiday, I won't start the next round of mess until after Easter. That's OK, though. It means I get to have a lovely holiday with my family. I also still have a massage and a spa voucher that wants to be used. 😀
Crossing my fingers for everyone else, though. Good luck.

Bluehawaii29 · 01/03/2022 18:37

@Dizzyhedgehog aww this is so nice to hear! I’m really glad you are feeling positive about the new plan and you really deserve to have an amazing break with your family care free. Thanks for your wishes and will let you know how it all goes xx

LBalf · 01/03/2022 18:42

@exhaustedPigeon1988 5 days is so early lovely, I got my very very faint BFP at 10dp5dt with a 25mIU a 10mIU might pick up something up early but I'd wait a week to make sure.
I'm sure the clinics make us wait for a reason though it's not obvious! 😁

LBalf · 01/03/2022 18:47

Just a personal plea but can people be sensitive about how they reference their embryo gradings?
A C or B grade might work out to be a healthy baby and some people are relying on these embryos, pinning all their hopes on them. To read other people saying they're no good is quite damaging.

Bluehawaii29 · 01/03/2022 18:54

@LBalf this is very true. I know first hand that having the perfect graded embryo of a 5AA does not necessarily mean it will work and there is so much anecdotal evidence out there that the other grades go on to make beautiful and healthy babies. My own consultant even said that she often sees the B and C grades work in more cycles x
