@W1ngingit what time is your appointment ? You put 2 back is that right ? What grades were they ? I hope you got 2 . 👶 👶

@Justawannabemam are you still on Lubion injections twice a day? How you been finding them. This is my first cycle using it and just been told to take it once a day in the evenings. I’m also starting the cyclogest pessary tonight and then twice a day from tomorrow. It’s starting to sink in now that transfer is this week!

Yeh im on them twice a day. I find them okay . I do one and 7am and one at 7pm. My stomach is a bit tender . I think its all been used and I have a few little bruises. I think I will be on it to 12 weeks.

I just think if it's creating a nice environment for my babies I'll sacrifice all the injections in the world. X

@Justawannabemam aww yeah totally agree. I would go on two times a day if I was allowed, would do anything to help those embies nestle in x

My clinic just called with our day 3 results of our embryos and they said embryo glue is included in our package and asked if we would like to use it.

Has anyone used embryo glue before? & what did you think of it? iv never been through IVF before now and i have no idea what to do!

@Gigi89x this is my first ivf, I used embryoglue. My otd is tomorrow. Apparently it's meant to increase your chances, the 'glue' is the ideal culture for the embryo. Good luck 🤞

@Gigi89x we had it and its worked. If it increases your cha ces go for it !! And it's free. X

@Justawannabemam Did another test yesterday and got another faint/evap line. Already accepted bfn for this cycle. Just wanna stop the pessaries now and move on to next round.

@NaomiNatNat aww that's such a shame.

I hope you feel okay . Its the hanging about afterwards waiting for a period then hopefully you'll be able to go again . Are there any waiting times at your clinic ? Fingers crossed they have you back in soon. I know you probably feel like you want to go straight in but a break will do you good even though you got negative you've still created an embryo so a little time to grieve is good for the mind .x I felt exactly the same.
And remember my clinic said that often first time is a bit of a test to see how you respond to meds etc. They might change your medication to create more foliciles. More foliciles = more eggs more eggs = more embryos .

I’m on a downer today as time is dragging and feel like nothing is really happening day to day. Stupidly looked at the cousin who is pregnant with her third kid today on Instagram today and saw she posted a story in the car with her husband saying on the way to nursery shopping again. So hard to accept how so many people seem to be flying through life and time just seems at a standstill for us and the 1 in 8 group. Sorry for the rant but just spent the morning trying to fix up a scratch on the wall and get the new paint to blend in with the rest of the wall. My OCD is getting worse with all this time on my hands and just wish I could be busy with a little one 😔

@NaomiNatNat sorry to hear it's not looking more encouraging. I'd still keep taking the meds until otd... my clinic will only take blood tests because home tests so early can be unreliable 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Justawannabemam This is fabulous news!! I think twins is just the best possible outcome, 👯‍♀️, says I being 40 and not having a lot of time to play with 😉

I like the line about first cycles being a kind of test; my clinic told me it's completely random when you find the good embryos, could be cycle 1, could be cycle 3... but I did respond less well than expected so they'll change my meds for next round and hopefully that will up the chances with more eggs!

@Bluehawaii29 this whole thing makes me think no-one is sailing through life, some struggles are just more visible than others... and there's some selective forgetting once it's worked out well; I'm convinced it's more than 1/8, when I think of everyone I know who's had IVF, (multiple) miscarriages, late MMC, lost premature babies, I reckon it's WAY more!!! Counting me and 8 good (healthy!) friends, only two had the "easy" version 😞

But that doesn't help when you see the latest photos, I know... 💜

@LuckyNovember yeah this group makes it feel like it’s more than 1 in 8 but in my own personal life i feel quite alone in all this. Most of my friends and family have had multiple kids one after the other. I’ve heard of one still birth happening to a family member in America but she now has a healthy boy and a couple of friends revealed recently they’ve had a miscarriage in the past. Also a cousin in Canada who had unexplained fertility and conceived twins through ivf after 2 yrs on the fertility journey so I guess that gives me some hope. It’s just so hard when there is no one close I can confide in who is going through the same thing as me in this present time. Thankfully I have this group which is helping a lot

Thanks for your kind and comforting words @Justawannabemam @Bluehawaii29 @LuckyNovember I have the dreaded call on hpt result tomorrow, they will give me a date for review consultation. I think the progesterone is giving me lower back pains today, another reminder!
I know so many women that can't have children and some keep MC. This forum has also made me realise that I'm not alone, you ladies are so supportive.

Nothing worthwhile comes easy but it's so worth it when it does 💕

@NaomiNatNat I’m sorry to hear about your results.

@Bluehawaii29 I know exactly how you feel - I’m surrounded by family who get pregnant easily. Both my sister and sister in law got pregnant first go. I also spend most my weekends with other people’s children so it really gets me down. I don’t have any words of advice but you’re not alone in feeling this. I do find these groups help to make me feel less alone.

@Justawannabemam looking forward to getting an update following your scan. Is there anything you did different this round after egg collection?

Has anyones clinic changed their covid restrictions , now the government has dropped isolation with covid?

@Gigi89x Mine still send a questionnaire before going, and do temperatures while you're there and have to wear a mask. Small prices to still continue helping us.

This may be a stupid question, but how do periods start again after a FET. My OTD is tomorrow, and I'm sure it'll be negative. However, aside from that, would I have a period after coming off of all the medication, or can you still have one while on it?

@Overlyanxious no I haven't done anything different . Prior I started taking Vit D vit C and folic acid. Also Q10 but ive stopped that now.

Last time I was on 1 dose a day of Lubion. Where as now I'm on 2 .

@Appleby11 It might be different for FET, I only had a fresh transfer, but with progesterone pessaries and oestrogen patches... after bfn I stopped taking the meds and my period started otd + 5 days. However, it seems this might be a bit random and I was told it's different every time and for everyone 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi everyone, so amazing to see some BFPs!

After my bfn from the boots test strip I did a clear blue digital two days later and it said 1-2 weeks. I did another test strip: completely blank. No evap line, nothing.

I read that clear blue pick up 25miu. So now I'm worried the digital is just picking up a chemical 😶

It's was amazing to see the positive result but I'm running myself ragged making excuses.

My clinic don't do blood tests and the OTD is still a week away.

Anyone had this before?

@LBalf did you do them all the same day? HcG doubles every 48hrs (i think? Or every 24h? Someone will know this!) which means you might test positive on digital one day and not of the other until 2/3 days later....

@LuckyNovember I took both the digital and the strip this morning, I guess it's just a waiting game and need to test again in 48hrs like you said.

I'm already 10dp5dt transfer today though- could be a late implanter?

That looks more good than bad... you can make it two more days 😊🤞🏻
