Hi all, hope it's ok to join? I start northesteroine tomorrow in preparation for my first EC and ET.
Been TTC since 2016!
Any help and advice appreciated.
Not shared what we are going through with friends or family as I find it easier to deal with that way.

On a bloods scale I don't know what the 600 could mean ? Anyone else had twins and had a count this high?

Hi all, wanted to join this thread as I have now been doing Ovaleap injections for a few days and will start Cetrotide tomorrow too, for our first IVF+ICSI cycle. We've been ttc since mid-2020.

I have started a couple of threads before and received great advice so not a complete newbie haha, wishing you all luck wherever you are in the process

Firstly just to say congratulations on all the BFPs and I’m sorry for those of you who haven’t got there yet.

I’ve been a bit of a lurker but feeling really down. I used donor eggs (so frozen) for my first IVF and I had my transfer on the 21st - not sure if that makes me 5 or 6 days past the 5 day blastocyst. I was really positive but all the sore boobs and bloating that I had from oestrogen and progesterone from before the transfer has now gone and I have such a strong feeing it hasn’t worked and back to all my old feelings of of course it’s never going to work. I just feel like I need to tell someone and I don’t want to tell my partner at the moment as she is all positive. I think I can only afford another, possibly 2, transfers so feeling the pressure for it to work.

@xreadytoglow - yes. Using First Response tests and it’s been positive, yesterday and today. So feeling a little more relaxed about tomorrow but still quite stressed. Burst into tears for now reason this afternoon, it’s just gotten a little much today.

@Justawannabemam - if all goes well tomorrow we’ll be in the same boat. We put two back. Really interested in whether the numbers can indicate twins!

@Overlyanxious my bloating has gone now and my boobs didn't feel as sore earlier. I had my transfer on the 20th. Please don't read too much into things at this stage, it could mean anything. It could all come back in a couple of days. Good luck for your TWW. When are you testing?

Thank you @xreadytoglow I’ve been told to test on Saturday - which seems ages away. Not sure whether to test early or not. Before IVF I was trying with a donor (as same sex couple) and I got so many negatives when testing early I now have this weird superstition about testing early - which I know makes no sense as there were so many months where I never tested and got AF.

When is your official test day? And good luck x

@Overlyanxious this is our first month trying really so haven't had that feeling yet of seeing a negative test. I pray I don't have to. 🙏🏼 We're also a same sex couple but decided to go straight to IVF.
I think we will hold out and test on Tuesday when I'll be 9dp5dt.

@xreadytoglow fingers crossed you never see a negative test.

@Overlyanxious I had the same feeling midway through the 2ww. Everything I felt was like normal AF. I tested early 7dpt, but that’s because I couldn’t face waiting. I know the fear of blank tests though! Totally sympathise. Good luck!

Conclusions: These data support the hypothesis that hCG levels greater than 200 mIU/ml on 14 days post-ET are more likely to have ongoing pregnancies; hCG levels greater than 600 have a high likelihood of a multiple gestation pregnancy.
