We are unexplained, although I have subclinical hypothyroidism which clinic previously said shouldn't factor, yet, am not pregnant after all these years and now this first IVF, so who knows. We did DNA fragmentation test last autumn, results came back as not great and Dr Ramsay suggested ICSI, however on the day of sample, embryologist said that the sample looked great and she was happy with IVF. We did some dietary changes under fertility nutritionist.

@ReadyForTheAdventure that’s good you managed to do with ivf, how were your fertilisation rates etc? have you had the transfer already x

Thank you all for your earlier messages. I had the scan and unfortunately whilst there was a sac there was no embryo - I should be 7w3d so it isn’t going to be our time. They have referred me to the EPU so I am seeing them on Tuesday and will go from there. I really hope you have better news and fingers crossed for you. We have four frozen embryos so will be trying again, just got to get through the next couple of weeks first.

@Mochii that's wonderful news!! I hope those numbers keep multiplying for you. Fancy clinic 2 saying there's 'no way' it could be viable then changing their minds... so good you have a good clinic in clinic 1 that didn't just dismiss you.

Hi hope it's ok to join the group, I had my FET on Thursday. OTD 7th March. I already feel blessed to have my rainbow baby girl who is now 19 months.

After 6 attempts a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy it was a long journey.

So now praying we are luckily enough this time. X

@ty1982 hi welcome to the chat, how are you finding the 2WW? My transfer is a week a behind yours so it’ll be end of next week, are you planning on testing early? I’ve decided to hold back and do it on OTD. Just hope I can last that long! Feel like I’ve been waiting for ages already as had three scans just to get to the right lining and now transfer date is still a week away. Glad you’ve got a little one keeping you busy through all this and hope this cycle is the one for you xx

(If I zoom in and squint a bit) 9dp is early for a home rest... you're just gonna have to keep testing now every day to see it getting darker 😉🤞🏻

@Vslightlystressy this is heartbreaking news. I'm so sorry. I hope you have someone who can support you through this. If you don't mind my asking, what does it mean there is no embryo there if you had a BFP?

I’m going to play devils advocate this time and say if it’s going to drive you crazy waiting till Monday to see if it gets darker maybe just retest sooner? I’ve had evap lines before and they looked like that but it may be a faint line and could be darker today

@IE00 @Bluehawaii29 Ordered some more tests yesterday due delivery this morning. Tiny bit queasy proly out of anxiety/fear of a stark white. Really need a stiff drink before testing but I know I can't! Will definitely hv to call clinic on Monday with the result as they don't do beta.
Does hcg fluctuate throughout the day?

@NaomiNatNat once implantation has happened it should be an upward trend. In the early stages they say you can get a false negative if you test later in the day rather than first morning sample but once the line is established I think levels are high enough for it to be detected at any time of the day. I'm feeling a bit under the weather today... going to take a covid test and pray it's not that!

My girlfriend is doing a FET cycle this month. She has the protocol with patches and tablets - does she change the patch every 3 days or every 72 hours? She took one first thing on Thursday - so can she take one today or one on Sunday morning? Anyone had any precision on this from their clinic? I’ve suggested taking one later today

Confirmed Pregnant.

My clinic says anything over 200 back from bloods is confirmed and mine was 600.

Back in 2 weeks for a 6 week scan.

I hope all you ladies get this feeling one day. I've been on the other end of news and it's heart breaking. I have my fingers crossed for you all current in there 2ww, transferring soon or EC Xx
