@Bluehawaii29 of course I don't mind you asking

So I'd tested positive very faint on about day 9 . On OTD I tested again, also very faint used clear blue digital and it confirmed pregnant. But literally within 2 to 3 hours I had a full on bleed. They told me to keep doing progesterone and I went for bloods 4 days later and confirmed negative. 💔.

I literally thought then I would not go again. We thought we only had one nhs chance at the time bc I had gone 40.

The consultant at the clinic said to go my GP and ask them to appeal that I got another chance if not 2 bc of delays due to covid which I got a reply within 2 days we were successful. And I genuinely think that got me through that loss.

They literally doubled everything this time. Overleap I was on 450 and I've been doing 2 injections of lubion a day.

Like I say I won't be excited until I've got my bloods done on Saturday so more worry.

I sympathise with how your feeling. When I read that some people have been 4 or more times I just think good on you!!. You are certainly stronger than I would ever be. I hope you get your baby very soon 💕

Congratulations @Justawannabemam that definitely looks positive!

@StillTrying10000 I had negative on a FRER in the morning of day 8 (stark white) and a very very faint positive in the evening of day 8.

Bluehawaii29 · 22/02/2022 08:02

@Justawannabemam thanks for your lovely message, so glad it’s going the right way for you this time! The first cycle must have been very heartbreaking. We’ve just done one cycle also so far, that one was the fresh one with a 5AA but I never tested early so can’t tell if anything happened because then I bled 9 days post transfer and it was over after that. Hope this time is different with the new meds but thanks again for giving us lots of hope xx

@Mochii and @Justawannabemam thank you. I'll keep testing and taking my meds and just keep hoping.
I'm so pleased you got your extra changes @Justawannabemam.
I used to be able to conceive super easily but ever since I've been at a recurrent miscarriage clinic I've really struggled, I'm starting to wonder if they drugs I'm on might be stoping me conceiving, or maybe it's just one of those things. So miserable x

Justawannabemam · 22/02/2022 08:19

@StillTrying10000 where abouts in the UK are you? I assume your private ?

@Justawannabemam I can totally understand you being cautious after your last time! That’s awful to go through! Fingers crossed you’ve got a sticky bean (or two) in there this time! 🤞🏻

@StillTrying10000 Sorry to hear you’re on your 4th cycle, that is tough going! Your chart looks good though. I’ve used ovusense too up until Xmas when my subscription ran out. It’s so useful! I’m keeping everything crossed for you! Do you have any Frosties? x

xreadytoglow · 22/02/2022 08:34

@Justawannabemam oh wow congratulations!! That certainly looks positive 🥰 how exciting. I'm wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy 🤍

@StillTrying10000 I'm so sorry about your negative test. It's never nice to see, especially when you've been trying for so long.. I hope it starts to turn positive for you very soon.

@Mochii how are you feeling? How are your tests looking?

I'm still having lots of twinges/pulling sensations. Choosing to stay positive that it's all heading in the right direction 🤞🏼

Bluehawaii29 · 22/02/2022 08:42

Happy 22 2 22 guys!! May more good news come today 🤞🤞

WhiteLily86 · 22/02/2022 08:42

Yay @Justawannabemam so happy for you!! Smile

StillTrying10000 · 22/02/2022 08:44

@Justawannabemam yes private with CRP Clinic, sadly the miscarriages mean I don't qualify for NHS as technically I've been pregnant in the past two years.
@crazycatlady1981 yes I love OvuSense, it's so useful, especially to have all of the history recorded in it over the years. I've got 3 in the freezer from 3 harvests, but I was really hoping to have two babies so go into a successful pregnancy with some in the bank as my AMH is only 6 already so I'm scared how low it will be in a couple of years.

WhiteLily86 · 22/02/2022 08:46

How's this for a conundrum....

Thinking I am out...heavy feeling in my uterus, little bit more fresh blood this morning (when I wipe). Did a test first thing to prove that's me out and it is positive??? I actually didn't even wait the full time and chucked it in bin, then when I saw @Justawannabemam result I went and double checked again out of pure jealousy 😂

First positive test I have had in 4 years 🥰 feels good. However with the bleed I assume something has gone wrong. I wouldn't get positive if only just getting IB?

I am same days as @Justawannabemam - ET was a week yesterday.

Oh my god this is such a head fkkk. Help!

Justawannabemam · 22/02/2022 08:55

@WhiteLily86 eekkk Congratulations .

Try not to worry about the bleed. I have read that some people do bleed throughout.

Have you told your partner. ? How many did you transfer.

OP posts:
Bluehawaii29 · 22/02/2022 08:56

@WhiteLily86 wow well done! Today really is a lucky day! Basically you can get IB this late as well, depends on your grading and how quick it was. It makes sense that it’s positive now if implantation has been completed

WhiteLily86 · 22/02/2022 08:57

@Justawannabemam thanks I hade a transfer of 1 x 4AA.

Have you been testing throughout, are we sure this can't be a positive from the trigger shot?

xreadytoglow · 22/02/2022 09:45

@WhiteLily86 congratulations!! Wow!! Lots of great news today.

Cayandsimit · 22/02/2022 10:30

Wow! Congratulations @WhiteLily86 & @justawannabemam 🎉🎉

Mochii · 22/02/2022 10:41

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get hold of my clinic since my positive test and after doing a blood test with another clinic yesterday, I’ve found out I only have 17miu/ml. I’m heading to my clinic now to try and speak to someone, but does anyone know what level the test should be to be a viable pregnancy?

Justawannabemam · 22/02/2022 10:42

Yeh ive done a couple.

I posted a picture of my trigger tests . I'm not sure if it was on here or the other page. Mine was gone by about 7 days afterwards .

All the 22022022 today

Which us quite ironic because if would have been my mams 75th birthday today. She died in 1997. And I wish she was hear for me to share my news .

Bluehawaii29 · 22/02/2022 10:46

@Mochii hi is this result still before your OTD? If it’s ok the OTD and was that level I think they would usually keep testing every other day after until it reached a good level. I think over 100 they normally say

Bluehawaii29 · 22/02/2022 10:47

@Justawannabemam aww I’m sure she would be so proud and looking down smiling today, it’s definitely a good sign for you and hope the good news continues xx

Mochii · 22/02/2022 10:59

No I’m a day past OTD now. I’m heading to my clinic now, 3 hour journey though and I bet they don’t let me in!

lucymills1234 · 22/02/2022 11:16

@StillTrying10000 I don't have any words of wisdom, sorry, but wanted to say that I get it, and it sucks. This was my fourth collection and my 6th transfer. Up to now, 4 BFNs and one chemical. I am doing this solo, using donor sperm and I thankfully seem to have good ovarian reserve and get good egg numbers. But at times it feels I've had every challenge that could be thrown my way - a cyst, my clinic freezing an embryo they shouldn't have done (so it had to be discarded), poor fertilisation, embryo not surviving thaw, confusion around meds, my clinic transferring the wrong blast by mistake - a lower grade one they wouldn't have frozen (yup!), and on this round, a huge % of abnormal fertilisation that they called 'horrendously bad luck'.

At times it feels so hard that there's no rhyme or reason to ivf, it doesn't matter how hard you try, how well you follow the advice or how many attempts you've made. The thing that keeps me going is that I'm 42 and waiting around isn't an option. I may be an idiot for putting all my emotional investment into trying and failing again and again (not to mention all the debt) but if it doesn't work I hope the fact I tried and tried will be some consolation. Hang in there, you are doing all you can and that's brave in itself.

lucymills1234 · 22/02/2022 11:17

@Justawannabemam congrats on the BFP, great news for you :)

WhiteLily86 · 22/02/2022 11:29

@Justawannabemam oh yes I remember, the pictures were quite clear from the trigger. So it's not that!

I can't let myself get too excited yet, I am still pretty convinced I am out given the blood is fresh, Just going to monitor the blood today and will call clinic later if it is period. Should know today/tomorrow.

But I have to say it was so lovely to see the BFP line, loved life for at least 30 mins Shock
