Just wanted to add an update. Had long chat with embryologist today. Have been feeling very anxious about the idea of putting 2 good quality day 5 embryos back on our first FET cycle. We are also using embryo glue. The idea came about after we chatted to the consultant but I think my gut feeling says no and after our chat today it made sense for us to go with one back this time with the glue and then at least the pressure will be off a bit knowing we still have 3 potentially good ones left. It’s strangely a huge relief to know that only 1 is being put back. Maybe deep down I don’t think I’ll cope with twins?? Just very confused at the mo but I think we’ve done the right thing

@womaninkent what the ivf mindfulness app? Haven’t heard of it, I’m in desperate need of help with my mind

@Yognog1 my clinic does collections Mon/Wed/Fri so if I had to guess I think I'd be in on Wednesday. I'm being scanned tomorrow AM, that's my second scan, first scan was baseline. Have the headaches gone now?

Today I've had a fair amount of protein, including whole milk, a chicken thigh, an avocado, some almonds and cherries (minimal in them but it all adds up!).

@Gracie2021 I'm feeling fine, just tired because we got up super early to do the fyremadel and will be again tomorrow, and then I'm off to the scan . Feeling a bit nervous now.

@thislittlebird I've got my scan tomorrow as well, super nervous and anxious 😓 really hope the meds are working. Which scan do you have tomorrow?

@thislittlebird hope everything goes ok with your scan tomorrow. Headache only came back about 4pm which is definitely an improvement on yesterday. I’m feeling so exhausted I’ve been sleeping great though which is a bonus.
I’m starting Fryemadel on Saturday, how are you finding it?

Is it too late to join the party?
Due to have my first FET this cycle. Had day 12 scan yesterday and supposed to hear from the clinic yesterday or today regarding transfer date etc. Heard nothing. Rang before they closed and said it will be tomorrow when they call. Frustrated! I'm thinking of taking my lubion injection to work with me in case I have to start straight away but concerned as my OH has done all injections so far and don't fancy hiding away in the toilets trying to figure it out!
Fingers crossed for everyone!

@NaomiNatNat I have my day 7 scan, what about you? Not had one since I started stims, I hope they're growing :/

@Yognog1 I did not like fyremadel at all, but I think the fact that it stings would have been nice to know in advance. I recommend icing your skin well before/after! Going to keep doing that one in my thigh to spread out the injection sites. We're doing fyremadel at stupid o'clock in the morning because my husband works shifts too.

Thank you! I started fyremadol in my thigh but moved to my stomach cause I hit blood a few times. The injections didn't hurt for me.
At my egg collection yesterday they collected 15 eggs, 8 were mature and 5 fertilised, so I'm keeping fingers crossed for the next call on Saturday. The phone call this morning to tell me that was so nerve-wracking!

Is anyone doing a FET down regulation? I'm taking estridol patches, orally and vaginally but omg finding the later so hard to get right 🙄 My last cycl was cancelled because my linning was 7mm and after five days of double dose didn't increase.
Hoping the patches will help this time.

@CharlieBalf I’m taking estrogen tablets at the moment. I have been taking them for 7 days now and have a scan tomorrow to confirm if I can start progesterone pessaries. Hoping for a FET at the end of next week.

@thislittlebird I've got day 9 stims scan in the morning, first one for stims too. Praying something is happening 🙏

Oh best of luck @Mochii! Really hope you get a good result. What dose are you on? Mine make me feel really sleepy.

Mines day 10 tomorrow . I'll keep you informed. I hope they've grown and some more have appeared. I'm starting to feel bloated and a bit crap so I hope its EC Monday.

My app is 9.30 so I've got an early start . 2.5 hours drive first.
I've been for my covid PCR today so I hope that's all clear. I've been doing LFTs since Xmas for work.

@CharlieBalf I’ve been really tired too and feeling sick over the last couple of days. I’m taking 2mg of zumenon 3 times a day. Are you taking a higher dosage this time around?

@Gracie2021 feeling ok so far! Only on day 2 of stims though so early days yet! My tummy’s starting to feel a bit sore with the extra jabbing each day though!

@Justawannabemam @NaomiNatNat @thislittlebird good luck for scans tomorrow! My first and only stims scan isn’t until day 10 of stims which seems quite late, but hopefully my clinic know what they’re doing! 🤞🏻

@Justawannabemam Good luck for tomorrow , that's a long drive stay safe🤞 I think I'm a bit bloated from all the protein intake 😅 a tiny bit nauseous too! Not had many symptoms tbh

@Mochii I'm on 10mg and a patch and I felt sick too for the first few days. Took me a while to get used to the dose. When is your first scan?

@Justawannabemam do you live really far from your clinic? Really sucks having travel time on top of everything else. We're about an hour and a half from ours and sometimes the ten min scan apps really got to me.

@CharlieBalf I had a scan last Thursday to check everything looked normal on day 2, then I have one tomorrow. Nothing in between. I think if the lining is thick enough tomorrow then the next appointment would be the embryo transfer after that! I haven’t really gone through the steps with the clinic in detail as I find it changes so much throughout the process anyway. When is your next scan?
