Great news @foodiefil! I wouldn’t worry about the quality, it’s mainly a guide for thawing so it’s all good news.

We got our day 6 update. 4 are now frozen, and 2 more are still in the running but unlikely to make it, they’ll give them another day. Very pleased with 4!

@Dobcaty congrats on the house! We are also in the process of buying a house, started early Dec so hoping there's not much more to go till we get keys.. Glad to hear you're feeling positive.

I'm struggling with hearing nothing about my embies today!! Roll on tomorrow morning when I can hopefully hear continued good news about how they're doing.. 🤍 it's so sad but my DP and I say goodnight to them every night 😂🥺

@IVFGotThis05 thats a really good way of looking at it :) yeah my heart is definitely lifting again so going to just go with the flow and deal with any set backs when they happen rather than worrying about it always x

Hi! Today is 9dp5dt (if you count the ET as the 1st day) and I feel nothing. I don't want to test because I was getting hCG boosters meanwhile so can see false positive. Blood test is next Tuesday. As I feel nothing so far, I feel like it is gonna be a BFN :( Am I being unreasonable to expect some kind of clear sign this early?

@xreadytoglow aww I think that's super cute! I really struggled with the wait until day 5 ! Even though I got a day 3 update ! The anticipation can be too much ! But fingers crossed for you! No news is good news ! :)

@Cayandsimit I think it's never written off, some people never feel anything !? Look at those people that don't even realise they're pregnant ! The 2 week wait is the worst I get it! But try your hardest not to write it off :)

@Cayandsimit don't give up hope. I didn't feel anything on the BFP on my fresh cycle. I've done 3 cycles, felt completely different each time, 2 BFP one BFN. I promise you that in my experience you really can't tell from symptoms or lack of them.

@Cayandsimit don’t give up hope. I don’t think you should experience any symptoms during the TWW. In a non IVF pregnancy you 99% wouldn’t have symptoms this early, at this stage (PUPO) it’s no different. But I know the mental strain is very hard and you’re on high alert for any indications it’s worked. Try and distract yourself if you can ❤️❤️❤️

@foodiefil I think I rope my DP into it to be fair 😂 but she happily plays along! Yes it's our first cycle. I know two people in real life that have been through this process in the past 12mo where it worked for them first time.. so I'm feeling a lot of pressure. But I know that these things very rarely happen that way. I don't have any infertility issues that I know of. The reason we are doing IVF is due to being a same sex couple. I'm just trying my best to enjoy this process and celebrate every milestone whilst keeping my expectations in check.. what about you? Is this a first cycle for you?

Just done my back in really badly, unable to sit at the moment due to the pain, not sure what’s going on and getting cramps in my sides but my ovaries are not meant to be doing anything in a frozen cycle? What is going on!

Thank you for the support @IVFGotThis05 & @foodiefil. I am trying to be hopeful based on what you said before @womaninkent . However, feeling tired and angry kind of hinting me that AF is around the corner. I usually get angry 1-2 days before that. I also put the embryo's picture on the wall to look at it everyday and it makes me feel like an idiot.
Even though we have 2 more frozen blastocysts + 2 frozen fertilized eggs in the cryo, I feel like giving up already and just apply for adoption. If we would have done that in 2020 instead of choosing TTC, we could have had a child already...

@xreadytoglow I know exactly what you mean about seeing other people’s cycles work first time. If you’ve got fertility on your side that’s a great thing. No this is our third round. It’s MFI for us (male factor infertility). We’ve always got an embryo but no baby. Fingers crossed third time is a charm!
There’s no reason your first time won’t be the charm either, it’s exciting and nerve wracking in equal measure!

@foodiefil hi we have MFI too, can I ask whether they let you transfer 2 back in your first two cycles and what kind of grades you had/ were they both fresh cycles or do you have enough frozen embryos? xx

All cycles have been fresh, we’ve never got any frosties. So on our first cycle they only transferred one, it was “good” (our clinic don’t tell us the grade) and that was a chemical pregnancy.

Our second cycle we got two “average” embryos and because they wouldn’t survive being frozen they transferred both.

Because this time it’s our third cycle they want to transfer two. So hopefully the two that are currently good will be transferred on Saturday.

@foodiefil that’s great they are transferring two good ones this time, wishing you best of luck. This is my first frozen cycle/ second round. We managed to get 4 good quality frozen from first round and they put a 5AA back that time which didn’t work so consultant was happy to try two this time. Hoping and praying at least one will stick but I’m not going to give up as still 2 good ones left and like you said third time may be the charm xx,

Hi all

I hope it's okay to be a late joiner to this thread. I am on my first ivf cycle. Had FET today, 4AB ab and 4B bc. I'm not sure what this means tbh! The ivf lingo has been really challenging to get a hold of. Has anyone else had ET today/yesterday? OTD is 27 Feb for me, but I know that I'll not be able to hold out until then. What's the earliest you might get a BFP?

Does anyone know what the hospital means when they say my blastocyst has thawed well this morning for ET this afternoon and it's divided as expected? I wasn't expecting the blastocyst to do anything either when it was frozen or since it's defrosted?

@Appleby11 I was told when they defrost they initially collapse down and then start expanding again. Maybe that's what they mean? If they say it's doing fine I wouldn't worry!
