@Bluehawaii29 I've always found things picked up once they throw the progesterone into the mix. Just the oestrogen isn't great, I agree.

@Mochii I'm so sorry to hear this. When is OTD?

@NaomiNatNat did you have a trigger injection in the last week? I hear that show up on a test. Defo worth speaking to your clinic x

@NaomiNatNat it will be the trigger. It can show in your system as pregnant bc of the HCG. Don't panic. Why have you done a test ?

@Vslightlystressy @womaninkent thanks for the advice, yeah I’m hoping that when progesterone is introduced it will become more bearable. It’s just causing a lot of psychological effects at the moment, less physical symptoms except for tiredness but even that may be because of mild depressive symptoms that it may be causing as I’m also noticing I’m getting nightsweats and some early morning wakening. Luckily am able to go back to sleep though. Because it’s been raining this week I haven’t managed to go for any exercise but today looks better so planning on a nice walk. Just have to wait for consultants call and then luckily it’s my usual day off so will try and take it easy and get some fresh air

Just called the clinic, the nurse says it sounds like I'm preggers. Will speak to the doctor in a bit. Tiny bit scared

@NaomiNatNatApparently the trigger can still be present even up to 12 days in some cases, it might be a faint line from that? Unless one of your eggs escaped and has been fertilised naturally?

My little update... I got the call yesterday late afternoon to say out of 13 eggs collected, 12 were mature! So they have attempted to fertilise all 12.
Then this morning I got a call to let me know that 8 have made it through the night and fertilised 🥺🥰

I'm booked in for my ET Sunday at 12pm. On the countdown!! Keep going little embies 🤍

@Bluehawaii29 Are you doing a FET ? Ive just been reading the last two pages and saw that you are taking oestrogen! I have been taking mine for a week but I have no side effects like yours ! When did that kick in for you ? My lining scan is Tuesday 22nd and then possible transfer on the 28th :)

@NaomiNatNat oh wow that's amazing. How come you triggered 10 days ago but didn't transfer 3 days ago? Or does ET mean something else?! Would today not have been a day 5 transfer for you? Good luck if you are pregnant!

@IVFGotThis05 hiya last week I was noticing I was slowing down a lot in terms of fatigue and had a bit of an upset stomach but that part has settled, it’s more the mood swings and anxiety which heightened this week but I think my job doesn’t help as I’m a GP and it’s getting harder to keep up now. I started the oestrogen last Monday and noticed the side effects kick in around weds. That’s really good you haven’t noticed it. My lining scan is 18th feb and then all being well transfer next weds x

@IVFGotThis05 forgot to ask, what daily dosing regime have you been on so far? Did you have to do the ganirelix injections too for the first 7 days? I finished that part on Sunday

I had my trigger on the 7th and that showed a faint line yesterday but gone today . So it could be that you are.

Have you been having intercourse during the treatment? Will they freeze your eggs if that's the case.

We went in for transfer and decided not to proceed because of my breathing issues. Will do it when I’m feeling better than this in the next month or two. So it’s freeze all, and we’re freezing three good blasts (one top quality) and there’s an additional two that might or might not catch up, they’ll call to let us know tomorrow.

Waiting is hard but I’ve waited this long so it’s fine really.

@Bluehawaii29 aw I really hope it eases for you, as if we don't have enough anxiety as it is ! I've felt really tired today but that could be because I didn't have my morning coffee!

Oh no a GP! This must be such a stressful time for you ! I can only imagine how busy you guys are.. I work in a hospital and even just seeing A+E that busy every day makes me think yous must be really strung out ! If only it was possible to just take the full time off during a cycle !

I didn't have injections I just started on oestrogen 3 times a day and then once I have my scan I will start the progesterone! What about you ? Wow, it feels like such a quick process doesn't it! Well fingers crossed your lining is as it should be and transfer goes ahead! just 1 week to go! Are you transferring 1 or 2 ? Do you have many frozen?

@IVFGotThis05 yeah it can be stressful, my first fresh cycle I had 2 weeks sick leave after transfer but I didn’t think I needed that much time off this time so I decided to do a week off from weds next week and then go back to 2 weeks remote working during the waiting period and then review after that how things go. Hopefully that won’t cause me too much stress! Yeah your regime sounds the same as mine except for the fact they gave me 7 days injections starting day 1 which was meant to switch off my ovaries. I am transferring 2 as far as we know at the moment but still waiting on consultant to finalise the plan this ‘morning’ although now it’s nearly midday. How about you? yeah it’s crazy fast in some ways and feel like I’ve been waiting ages in other respects x

@IVFGotThis05 we got 4 frozen altogether, 2x 4BBs going in first and 2x 3BBs will be left. How about you? X

I tested my fresh cycle out so I knew exactly when the hcg left my system. I had a positive up until 3dp5dt which I think is 9 or 10 days after trigger. I had negative 4dp5dt. Why did you test?

@Justawannabemam yea had sex a few times. Not celebrating too early though!

So the Doc says it might be the trigger, not sure but she still wants me to go ahead with the ET...so odd! I guess I won't know whether it's natural preg or not lol unless I have twins...(shrug)

@NaomiNatNat oh my word . How exciting . Although good on you for doing it . I kept snapping at my partner there was no chance he was even trying . The hospital advised us not to.

Surely when they do the transfer they'll see if there is anything there. ? At my clinic they have it on the monitor.

Hello everyone, I’m a late joiner to this thread. Have been on 2 similar threads during 2 previous rounds. Got a bit obsessed though so have tried to stay clear this round but at the waiting stage and couldn’t resist!

Had EC on Monday. 11 collected, 9 mature and 6 fertilised. Day 3 call is tomorrow with ET on Saturday all being well.

We have always got embryos but none have stuck - first round got one, second round two and transferred both but didn’t stick.

Because it’s round 3 they want to transfer 2 if we get 2 good enough ones.

Hope everyone is doing ok whatever stage they’re at. Lots of love and strength to all of you, it’s tough! Xxx
