Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to post but hoping we can save someone some money on medications for IVF. I have 6 x 0.25mg of cetrotide pre filled syringes and powder vials that are valid until 09/2022 and 1x cetrotide (same mix) valid until 08/2022. They have been constantly refrigerated since they were delivered but we cannot use them. I would love to give them to someone to reduce the cost of a cycle rather than them being returned to the clinic and getting thrown out. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Obviously they would need to be collected or delivered locally due to the need for them to stay cold - SW19 area.

@kennetrose I am a week post EC and finding it very hard to sleep although I'm exhausted. I can nap a while but toss and turn all night which isn't usual for me. I did think it was due to the anxiety caused by all the updates following EC but now they are over and our cycle went relatively well so I don't think it's stress related. I guess these hormones do a total job on us! I am just trying to keep my schedule relatively clear and snooze when I can!

Did my EC this morning, surprisingly have 8 eggs collected so twice more than I expected! 🥰 Best sleep ever lol now home taking it easy. Will know more tomorrow.

Had my EC this morning and they got 9 (although 2 might be immature) this time round. We'll see what happens until next Wednesday, which is our transfer day. Fingers crossed for everyone.

I'm now on the sofa with a hot water bottle. Didn't feel anything last time round but I'm certainly feeling a little sore today.

@lucymills1234 I couldn't believe how nerve wracking it is. Wishing you lots of strength. I only had one fertised egg but it made it to 4AA blast which I never dared believe would happen - I reckon the embryologists at the Lister must have been singing to it and had cbeebees bedtime stories on a loop for it! :) Keep the faith, rooting for you too! Come oooon little embies!!

My scan wasn’t too bad! I’ve got a 13, 11 and 7 on my left ovary and 13, 15, and 3 x 17 on my right. There may also be a 16 and 20 on my right but she wasn’t sure if they were follicles or not!! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔 So I’m not counting those ones!
EC scheduled for Tuesday!! 🤞🏻

No joy for us this month; I'd been very hopeful for our little embryo, but alas beta came back negative 😔

I already spoke to the doctor and tried to plan some next steps, want to get started again ASAP!!

As it was our first go, it probably would have been more surprising if it had worked, and hoping there are some tweaks to be made after this trial and error round; I had a reasonable follicle count of 12, but only 6 responded and only four of them fast enough for mature eggs, so I guess there might be options to improve that. All fertilised, which was great, and 3/4 even made it to day 5, albeit only one good enough quality to transfer, but that bit keeps me somewhat optimistic for future rounds 🤞🏻

Does anyone know the answer to this; if I continue taking the progesterone/oestrogen for another couple of days, will it delay my period? In other words, I'm trying to manipulate the dates of my next cycle so that we won't miss out on the March cycle when I have some holidays planned 😬 (have to take 1 natural cycle off before we go again)

I’m on day 5 oestrogen tablets for my frozen cycle and I’m really struggling with mood swings, tiredness, nightmares and poor sleep. Never had these before, any advice appreciated please x

@Dizzyhedgehog I transfer on weds as well 😃 also on the sofa, partner is being very caring and attentive atm wish I had a bell 😆

Thanks everyone. Keeping my fingers crossed. We got 8 last time but only 1 made it to day 5...as a morula, so already a bit delayed. Hoping for better results this time.

DH and DS look after me. Just went to the toilet and had to crash on the bathroom floor. My blood pressure has a bit of a habit of dropping drastically sometimes. Have taken some stuff now to get it back up and positioned myself firmly back on the sofa with my feet up. DS was a little freaked out but cuddles make everything better. I am hoping it's worth it.

@LuckyNovember sorry to hear about your bfn! I think progesterone would delay your period if you haven’t started bleeding yet. I kept on with my cyclogest after my bfn on my fet to delay it a bit and it took about 3 days to arrive after I’d stopped them. When I was on crinone however on my fresh round, I started bleeding before otd as it wasn’t as high strength progesterone.

Ooh take it easy @Dizzyhedgehog sounds like you need to rest up a bit. Fingers crossed that more of your embryos make it this time around!

I’m in Five Guys lol. I feel ok just walking slowly, about to get a cab home. I got 15 eggs which is a good start, let’s see how many fertilise tomorrow 🙃

A lot of egg collections today! Congratulations to everyone who has had this done this morning!

I had my transfer today, all went well and I am now going home to chill out until I start testing next week 😅

Well done to everyone whose had their egg collections; some great numbers and results all round :)

An update from me: ON MONDAY my scan showed my lining at 7.2mm and was sent off to grow some more. On Thursday it was 7.5 so the nurse and I both agreed it would more than likely be a cancelled cycle. Very disheartening, not to mention the expense which comes with a cancelled cycle.

I stop taking my meds, take my patch off, etc etc.
So today, the nurse calls and says shes spoken to the consultant and she's happy with the scan results and wants to go ahead with the FET next Thursday!

My question is - I obvs missed last nights and this mornings medications. Do you think that will affect the lining?

Also, is 7.5mm enough to allow the embryo a good go at sticking>? Why aim for 8mm min if she'll go ahead with 7.5?

Anyone else transferred successfully at 7,5mm?

@CharlieBalf hi how come they told you to take your patch off. Mine are saying I have to continue oestrogen till 12 weeks of pregnancy!

Meanwhile thanks for all the good wishes - retest was a positive 😬 Still pretty nervous/scared tbh and in disbelief - all the eggs in one basket - 2 embryos transferred, none were judged good enough to freeze. my last pregnancy ended in MC at 8+5. Early scan provisionally booked in 3 weeks time… keeping everything crossed
