@Janefx40 yeah, I’m happy if I can get 12 instead of 10, feels like a slightly better chance. Unless they’re all duffers 🙃

Scan been booked for next Friday. All being well transfer could be five days later x

Question for those of you who have done this before, my lining was 11.87mm today, will that just shrink right down after collection and before transfer? Or in theory should it stay put until AF?

@womaninkent , im with @Mountaingoat31 with OTD this Friday!!! It will be 9dp5dt. I think I can make it until then... actually feel great, was a bit crampy Friday and Sunday, not AF cramps, lighter, but the same kind of background heavy feeling... otherwise had been kind of bloated and sore boobs from the progesterone, but woke up today feeling great! No idea what to expect and no point of comparison, so hoping it's all good... one thing for sure, is that my boobs are Humongous on this progesterone 🤦🏻‍♀️ I started taking it at EC, so I know that's the cause and not the transfer, but my goodness, not sure they could cope with an actually pregnancy 🤣

How are you bearing up?

@thislittlebird mine never shrunked until the ET. On the contrary, gotten thicker (~1mm) between the EC and ET. Let's say pre-ovulation it was around 8.5 mm, on the ET became ~9,4mm.

Uhhh 3 hour round trip this morning - lining only 7.2 so ba k on the mess for a couple of days and anther scan on Thursday. Really worried now because I'm on basically double the dose than I was before and last time was cancelled. Liklihood is they'll cancel this one too. But disheartened that we haven't managed to get tk the transfer stage yet 😕

@thislittlebird yes scan this morning . EC Wednesday. 8 foliciles ranging from 15mm upto 22 .

@CharlieBalf do you know what the reason they say it is due to? How far in to the cycle are you know. I’ve booked my scan for day 12 so hoping it will be ready by then but that must be really annoying to keep going there and told its not ready xx

Update for my 2nd scan today. It's looking better from first scan and got EC scheduled for Friday now.

1 follicle at 17mm and 2 at 12 and 13mm. There are a couple more I believe are too small at 6 and 7mm.

Been told to stay on Stims until Wednesday so fingers crossed🤞 not a lot there but I'm still hopeful considering my circumstances

@Bluehawaii29 Dr have tried two different protocalls now and neither ha e been successful. No ones really talked about the reasons why it's not working. I'm on all the supliments and iron rich foods too. My clinic won't transfer under 8.6mm so i have a fair way to go.

What meds are you on?

oestrogen 2mg tabs three times a day (just about to remember my lunch dose- this is going to be tricky) and taking femyrdryl injections from today for 7 day only. How about you? @CharlieBalf

@Justawannabemam Well done on yours, very positive! 😃 I think those a the right sizes they look for. I had a surprise extra follicle today, it was hiding behind a cyst lol I will have a 3rd scan on Weds, praying at least a few are good enough to go.

@Justawannabemam mine weren’t dissimilar! Think the 12 ok sized ones were from 14mm-21mm.

@NaomiNatNat good that they’re keeping you on stims longer, hopefully the others will catch up x

@NaomiNatNat I'm staying on injections until Wednesday, too. Then Ovitrelle on Wednesday evening and EC on Friday. I had my scan last Friday and follicles were at about 11mm then. Fingers crossed for both of us. 😀

@thislittlebird in my failed frozen cycle I got estrogen gel for few days. In this FET cycle the hormone level was good and the lining was already 8.4 on the ovulation day so I am now using only progesterone pessaries (x1) + injections (x1) as a lutheal phase support.

@Dizzyhedgehog ooh very similar to me 😃 if all goes well at my scan on weds I would expect to do ovitrelle that day. The 11mm will grow very fast, I was actually shocked to see mine almost double in size since last Friday's scan. Plenty of water and protein 🤞

@CharlieBalf on my last frozen cycle they told me that they wouldn't transfer at less than 8mm but they changed their mind and did (i was just under and it otherwise looked good) I would challenge them if you can-it's not clear what the evidence is for it needing to be over 8mm. On by successful fresh round for example I was just under 8mm. There seems to be a very wide range of what clinics demand which suggests there is no real consensus. If they insist on cancelling get then to explain what they are going to do differently next time. Good luck.

I have had my embryo transfer, two embryos now on board! I feel very lucky to have had two embryos that were ready for transfer and two embryos which are still developing and might be able to be frozen if they develop.

I am very emotional today. Cried a lot this morning, and although I had very good news at the clinic I found the embryo transfer upsetting. It felt like a really big deal and special moment to me but the nurses were running late and it was really rushed and they were chatting about one of their kids and trying to distract me and then it was done. I feel like they ruined my special and significant moment. Have done some meditation and feeling more relaxed now, and will focus on the very big positive. Sorry for the emotion express.

@TTCinmy40s it’s really tough, well done for getting another big step closer and glad you’re feeling a bit better now. When I had mine they were running over an hour late. Obvs I was bursting for the loo and wish they told me before I left work at home half an hour away. I was not at all happy! Did you get photos?

Day 5 embryologist update: my 5 embryos are still hanging on! They have turned into 5 early blasts, but not big enough yet for biopsy (this is my 2nd of 3 freeze-all for PGS testing). They will check them again later today and biopsy if possible. I'll get another update tomorrow. They will wait as long as day 7 for them to grow more. Grow, blasts, grow!
