Hey, thank you everyone for the luck too many to mention- I really felt it today, really grateful if this group. I was dreading it being the lady I had last time as she made me feel really crap. Instead it was the amazing man that done my egg collection, was so happy when I recognised him :) I have survived :) was alittle uncomfortable as he couldn't get the catheter through first time, but great news on embryos. They both froze at 3BB, but after thawing and allowing to recover ended being 3ab and 4bb, so feeling hopeful :) have had mild period pains since, although I'm sure they will settle by tomorrow. hope everyone is doing well. Signing out for a couple of days. Will be back soon to check in with you all... sending positive vibes to each and everyone of you x

@StillTrying10000 are they able to see the heartbeat at 6 weeks though?

@Hufflepuff1 yes you can see the babies heartbeat from 6 weeks (counted roughly from 1st day of last period), it will be an internal scan though.

Help! I'm going crazy this morning because I took another test - 2 days after the last and the line is not getting any darker? It's all over isn't it? I thought there would be a bit of a progression at least. Pic attached. Top is 9dp5dt and bottom is today 11dp5dt. Both done using FMU.

@Hufflepuff1 they both look like pretty strong lines to me? When is your blood test? Hopefully that will put your mind at rest at little more?

@BlueSilver23 it's on Thursday. I'm worried because this is what happened last time and then I ended up miscarrying. There wasn't any progression, they stayed the same and then I didn't test anymore and then I ended up bleeding a week or so later.

I've taken another pic in the light. Am I going mad?

There are lots of reasons for a slightly different line, urine concentrations will differ every morning and and no two tests will show the same line even with identical concentrations (they still both look pretty similar to me!). Your worry is totally understandable given what happened before but as your blood test is only two days away id hang on in there with lots of positive thoughts and rest until then. It certainly is not all over, both those tests quite clearly say you are pregnant. Taking more tests will only worry you and there really is nothing you can do more than you’ve already done. Can you call your doctor and get the blood test moved up a day or so perhaps? Sending lots of good thoughts and wishes your way!

@Hufflepuff1 I actually think the line is progressing- noticed with mine it wasn’t so much getting darker as the line getting stronger and more solid. The line on your 9 is a bit broken, the 11 is more solid (if that makes any sense at all 😂?!). Problem is it is so subjective and so easy to panic. Xx

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 congrats on being PUPO was your ET performed by Dr. Thanos? He did mine and he's excellent! Do you remember who it was who performed your scan before? There are definitely some who are better than others at BH...

@Hufflepuff1 I would say the bottom is definitely darker from what I can see
I did a similar thing and tested using a clear blue digital and it went down so I've been feeling yuck since Sunday!
I told my clinic what I did and said I felt anxious so they said I can come in for a early scan Friday just for a very quick scan for reassurance so im holding out until then
In your case can you call your clinic and ask to bring the bloods forward?
I'm sure everything is fine and others have told me to stop testing so I have but I do still feel worried xx

@strawberrysummer19 :( totally know how you feel but glad you are in on Friday for a scan. How far along will you be then? My otd isn't until Thursday so I can't call my clinic directly yet, they are a bit crap if I'm honest too. I booked my bloods privately for Thursday as I'm working and Thursday is my day off. I'm just going to try not to think about it (ha!). I don't think it will benefit changing the date of my bloods because I'd have to get a second one done to see if there's progression won't I? Argh what a day.

@Hufflepuff1 I'm 6wks today so I'll be 6+3 on Friday - usually they don't do scans until 7 weeks they said because they don't really like early scans and having to rescan as they say that causes people more worry!! However my nurse talked through with me the options and said she thinks I should come in as it's doing the complete opposite for me and as I'm anxious (waiting) so I agreed. Because I have no symptoms I think. And the clearblue going down. Which I know I can't and shouldn't rely on.
I actually have a 8wk one booked with them also Which she said I can still have. As at 7wks I'll away at a wedding so I figured if I've waited until 7 wks what's another week!! She also said the difference between what you say from 7-8 really is something. That was before crazy test last cut in Sunday morning!! X

@Hufflepuff1 those tests look absolutely great to me. Your second test does (clearly, I think) look darker! When they're very dark (like yours are now) you won't always see progression and the exact strength will be down to how much dye is on that particular test. I'd stop. You'll drive yourself mad

@Holskey I know you are right in telling me not to test... I think I am already mad though. I am glad you can see its gone darker, I honestly can't tell and tbh I thought it would be a dye stealer by now.

@Hufflepuff1 I agree with the others the bottom one is defiantly darker. You know that I'm the same as you I'm a worrier. I have to test even though I am driving myself mad I still have to do it to be less mad 🤣 doesn't make any sense but to me it does 🤣 I didn't get a dye stealer until I think it was like 15dp

@Hufflepuff1 your line looks super strong. I wouldn’t worry too much. I’ve been testing everyday and I don’t think my line is necessarily getting darker on some tests but it is starting to show straight away. It’s only really dark with the Clear-blue early tests. Could that be happening with you? Is the second line appearing quicker cos that’s a good sign.
