CycleGirl20 I like G&T and white wine, also Negronis, I think if I get BFN I’ll have a hot bath with a glass of wine and then hit the negronis with DH! My test day is a Saturday, conveniently!
@Tinyhappypeople my first three transfers were all like that - my cervix is at an angle and they couldn’t get the catheter in, it took forever and was so painful. This time, randomly, it went in perfectly and took about 4 mins! I was on the verge of asking for sedation for this one because the previous ones had been so bad but actually it was completely fine.

I actually bought a bottle of eyewateringly expensive wine last month. When the woman asked if it was for anything nice I said, 'yes, it's for when our IVF fails.'

I also dreamed I drank orange rum punch with star anise last night, and woke thinking, oh shit, I've buggered it up now.

I had the cyst drained yesterday and they started me on 225 Gonal F. As long as the cyst doesn't refill, I should be able to continue this cycle. Not sure how many days I'll be stimming now, but will go in for a scan on Monday.

in my own cycles I ovulate on day twelve, so I don't know if this means I'll be day twelve this month?

@paintfairy me too! Oh yeah otd I forgot about that!! So will you test again tomorrow and then update the clinic ?
I have another clearblue and also a cheapie but I guess I'll do the clear blue one x

I think I am officially ruled out. Sorry for the over-sharing but when I went to the loo earlier there was quite a bit of brown-ish discharge, and since then when I had to put the pessary in there was pinky blood. Not loads, but I know at this stage it's too late for an implantation bleed. I've not bled whilst on progesterone before but there is always a first time I guess. I'll see if the bleed gets heavier overnight. OTD is tomorrow so I'll test then to confirm. Then on to thinking about what next.

@lucymills1234 thank you - yes still test and take the pessaries as they say you can still bleed and I've seen that a few times on here x

I love Prosecco and have this delish peach liqueur that I use to make Bellini. I’ve also been eyeing up the Amazon Black Friday deals on champagne. We usually spend Christmas sipping mimosas. But really hoping it will be a different kind of Christmas this this year.

@theotherfossilsister 🤣 I bet she didn't know what to say to that! Is it short protocol, or long? If short then it will be that or less. If long then it could be anything. I'm usually day 12. My EC was effectively on day 13 though as I was long.
@strawberrysummer19 the clinic gave me a test, so I'll use theirs tomorrow. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered. I would have just made out I had tested tomorrow.

@lucymills1234 agree. Some people have spotting so it might not mean anything. The problem with every single symptom is that it could mean either/or. I do have my fingers crossed for you.

And the drink. I tried to reply on the old post and then couldn't. But spiced rum and coke for me! That or JD and coke.

@Shaj123 was my first. I'm well aware I'm very lucky and I know I'm not out of the woods yet. I'm very thankful. We can't afford to do another cycle (have 1 frozen still) so this needs to work!

@Shaj123 this is a second fresh cycle. Yes I agree I think it's refreshing to hear of positives to show that it does actually work for some as us women go through so much to get here x

Is anyone else waking up really early on the progesterone? I know this isn’t a positive sign as I had it in my first cycle, first FET but haven’t had it in the intervening FET 2 or my fresh transfer in the summer. My eyes click open at 430 and that’s it, I’m wide awake!

@Gensola Morning, yes me! I haven't been sleeping well at all actually. Strange dreams and this morning I started stirring around 330 so about 4 i think it was I decided to get up! I think it's to do with more anxiety laying there thinking am I really pregnant?! It's my otd today so I'll test again but I still have this achey tummy which feels very much like a period ache ! But slightly different- I've read this is normal
