@CycleGirl20 I got pains, more like dull aches and at times quite bad and was sure it was af coming - the day I got my positive they came on so strong and I still get them time to time but more like a dull ache so it may just be that xx

Hello, sorry to read how hard your journeys all are. I wanted to ask has anyone had an egg collection and then instead of a fresh transfer 5 days later, had a PGT tested frozen embryo implanted? Logically I don’t see why this wouldn’t work but I can’t see anything online about it so I want to check it should be okay. This failed for me last cycle and am just trying to decide if I should try again this cycle. I only got one embryo from my collection hence collecting again this month. x

I had FET 11th Nov we transferred 2 embryos. I couldn't wait till day 10 to test as had the worst anxiety about it not working so I tested on day 7 🙈 but got a BFP, so happy but also staying grounded as my last FET ended in a chemical 😭
This time around I have had the worst back pain on the left side and also left abdominal pain/pulling/tugging has anyone else experience this? The back pain is actually causing me to feel uncomfortable but I won't moan as I'm grateful for the chance

I've been getting quite uncomfortable fullness feeling - aches too so from what I've read it's normal - I did have what I thought was af pains but more so just dull aches now

Congratulations *@paintfairy and @strawberrysummer19* - I've got some good news of my own! OTD was yesterday and I thought I had posted but Mumsnet somehow screwed it up... I have had no chill and tested from 4dp5dt and got my very first faint BFP that day... Still can't believe it's real!

I'm 3dp5dt. Panicked and then got excited yesterday as I had a bit of spotting, but realistically I doubt it is anything more than trauma from a tricky transfer and/ or irritation from the progesterone!! Very sore boobs as well but that is probably the result of poking them all the time to check how sore they are .

I am tempted to start testing day 5 as if it is negative it feels easier to deal with if I sort of get let down gradually by early tests. But this time I am letting myself have little daydreams about it working and I don't want to burst that bubble either!

@Tinyhappypeople thank you! I'm the same I literally wanted to test from the minute I had the embryo transfer 🤣 but it was particularly on my mind day 7 as I felt weird and I just knew I had to test! In fairness I feel it helped me then as I wasn't stressing myself out for the next few days until OTD which I usually don't sleep at all the night before day 10 and I told myself if it was negative then I still had time for it to turn positive! but I know everyone is different and it all depends on how people will cope with testing early if it is a negative result. Completely understand the bubble part though coz my last fet ended in chemical and as soon as I saw that negative after having so many positive tests I fell straight back down to earth 😭

@strawberrysummer19 thank you, haha yep I have spent countless hours on Google reading about symptoms ( I know I shouldn't but can't help it 🙈) this place seems to be the best place for me to ask questions though as Google is just so confusing with its different answers lol. It's comforting to hear that you have some symptoms like me too, this is whole process is craziness sooooo much to think about x

@Infertilitywarrior sorry to hear your last go ended in a chemical. I had a couple of days of light positives around day 9/10 last time but also started heavy bleeding the same time and also remember the feeling of seeing the negative test.

In reality I have no willpower (I’ve just opened the Xmas present my friend dropped round this morning 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) and 8 tests in the bathroom so I know what will probably happen. I am trying to not cave tomorrow, mainly as the tests are so expensive it would probably be a complete waste!

A week today until otd for me… how am I going to wait that long! X

@Tinyhappypeople last time I had a positive on day 10 then I tested everyday after as I'd never been pregnant before and I loved seeing the tests but due to not being pregnant before I was really naive with the lines going lighter and then just like that a week later there was no line at all! This time I am freaking out that it will happen again and there's nothing I can do to stop it if it does! I'm just trying to stay positive.

Last time I had the greatest will power as I was so set on not jinxing it by taking a test sooner but this time after what we had been through already I just thought sod it and I'm glad I did as had a few less days to stress about the result!
I'll have my fingers crossed for you when you do test and I'm sending positive vibes

You both have great willpower if you can test only once a day. My problem with testing early is that I'd want to test again in 2 or 3 hours if it was negative. Then I end up testing maybe 3 times a day. Then I end up staring at the tests for 20 mins at a time thinking "is that a line?"

@CycleGirl20 I am going to try my best not to test until 26th. I know once I see a negative I’ll be devastated so I’d rather just not know for as long as possible.

@CycleGirl20 now that I've seen a positive that's when my willpower goes out the window coz I get so scared of the lines getting lighter like last time that I have to fight the urge to test like you say every few hours. I test once a day that's it if I can help it otherwise maybe its once in the morning once at night but I freak myself out comparing lines and I drive myself mad. I've had to tell myself that if it's meant to be it will be regardless of line darkness or how many tests I do. Hoping you get your positive 🤞 please do let me know x

@Infertilitywarrior it's trying to hold the wee in all the time to save it up for a test that finishes me off as well 😂. Fingers crossed for you.

I keep checking my cervix and I think it's lower than it should be if it had worked this time.

I'm trying to think of the longer game. We've still got a few frosties so one of them should work. It's not just about this one

@Nerdalert hey, what clinic are you with? Only heard of bournhall doing extra long FET. When do you finish buserelin? I have my scan Tuesday and all being well that's my last injection day-finally!!! :) defo the last on this thread that's for sure lol, how have you been finding it all? This your first FET?

Hi @Infertilitywarrior, firstly a massive congratulations, and I believe that's twins for such an amazing line so early :) have you done double transfers before? Or was this your first? I am having a double on 29th, I'm already dreading the wait, I get myself in such a state before, during and after lol x

@Gensola I am the same as you. I would rather keep the hope of what can be than see a negative and be upset. Silly really but I’m so nervous of having to start all over again. Feeling really emotional tonight x
