Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@ShareLove oh I absolutely agree and as I said I can't get pregnant without them so I would take them. But if anyone is going to just buy them then they might not know these risks to make the decision in an informed way. Or know that they should ask for the extra scans

@ShareLove thank you for sending me all this information :) order placed with Superdrug, and waiting on the steroids. I won't be taking anything this cycle as it's an egg collection round, and I don't want to mess up anything I am already taking. But I will defo be taking these for my frozen round after :) when is your next cycle booked for? X

This is what tommys has recommended should be tested for recurrent miscarriage.... I am going to start looking into these things x

@ShareLove sorry it's a really bad layout I copied and pasted from the email they sent me lol x

ShareLove · 13/04/2022 14:18

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 wow look even on tommys the mention this test of lining of womb for inflammation (endometriosis) Grin Iv had most of the tests done , and nothing found . Not even sticky blood , that’s why I think It’s the inflammation and killer cells behind all this .
My next cycle hasn’t been booked yet As I’m still going through my loss at the moment , once all this is finished then I’ll see what is next step ! First I want to talk to my consultant about my next new plan as I’m not doing the same plan as this as I still lost the baby at 6 weeks .
I was on progesterone and blood thinners , this time I went to add predionsole , and ofcourse I’ll be doing this doxycycline from my next period , Smile

And for you , yes don’t take anything this cycle as it’s egg collection so you’re right ! Smile
Did you manage to get 2 packs of doxycycline ? I’m planning to order one on my name and one on partners name so I have 2 weeks worth then :)
Also did you manage to buy some vaginal probiotics or you going to buy it from shops ? X I really hope your steroid come , that would be amazing .

ShareLove · 13/04/2022 14:20

@DaffodilSunshine thank you lovely Smile it’s just so frustrating when people like me and others have recurrent losses as we are so desperate to try anything in the world , as we have nothing to lose anymore , so we want to try anything that could help Smile

DaffodilSunshine · 13/04/2022 15:07

@ShareLove yep been there! Except mine was repeated implantation failure rather than repeated loss. All those tests mentioned, I think I've had most of them! I was "lucky" to find a cause in high uterine nk cells hence the prednisolone.

You probably already have a specialist in mind but if not, I went to the Coventry clinic with Jan Brosens and Siobhan Quenby. They have two arms, one for losses and one for implantation failure. I believe they were one of the pioneering clinics with regard to nk cells

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 13/04/2022 18:00

@ShareLove the loss is the hardest part, I think a negative test is easier to deal with personally. It's so good you have a plan in place, and I'm sure you will start another cycle when you are ready. Fingers crossed, all of these added extras help us both :) I have only ordered for me at the mo, but will be ordering more soon, I won't need them for another few months yet.

Thanks for the added information @DaffodilSunshine, how have you got on since your diagnosis? X

DaffodilSunshine · 13/04/2022 18:45

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I have a three year old and currently 10 weeks following a FET and anxiously awaiting my 12 week scan. So a lot more success since my diagnosis!

ExhaustedPigeon1988 · 13/04/2022 20:34

@DaffodilSunshine that's amazing 🤩 congratulations 🥳 x
