FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

First test is 5days past 5 day trasfer xxx
I had really light shadow 4 days past trasfer but I wasn’t convinced , so tested 5 days past and it got a faint line as you can see on my pic , these tests are from 5days past to NOW maybe 13 dpt .!didn’t test today can’t be bothered anymore !xx

These are 5-14 dpt xx I had blastocyst transferred 2BB xx it wasn’t hatching yet at the time of trasfer xx

@ShareLove that photos so beautiful! Your last one is as dark control line, it’s amazing! I’m only on day 3 so need to wait a little longer before trying 🙄

@Agapanthus13 hey ,yes I would wait at least till day 6 , or 5 dpt xx
Don’t test on day 4 as it stressed me out seeing a shadow
I got my hcg beta results back from 4weeks 4days pregnant which was 413 , which is good number
I just ordered one more and I’ll do it when I’m about 5+4 to see how much it has gone up

Hi all, so tomorrow is my otd day 9 (last time I was told d14). So I took a cheap test today and I have a line which is great, but it’s so incredibly light. I first had a line on 6dp5dp but it was a shadow line, has got slightly darker in the two days, but still so so light. I don’t feel like I can be excited about it? Any suggestions? I still have Covid so can’t go for a blood test til Monday at the earliest, perhaps I should book one in ready?

@Agapanthus13 oh wow , in my eyes line is A line , I think I can say congratulations already 🥳❤️❤️ So happy for you ! Could you post a pic ? Xx I think blood test won’t be necessary if you just want to find out if you’re pregnant or not , you can just start testing every day to see if the lines get darker which they should if you’re pregnant and it sounds like you are ! I hope you can attach a picture here ? Xx my clinic doesn’t check hcg levels by blood once the test is positive , they just book you in for a scan in a few weeks . I know some clinics make you come into the clinic for blood test to check if you’re pregnant or not but my clinic only makes me do a test at home ? What about yours ? Xx

Just to let you all know that I am out , I started bleeding at 5+6 weeks so having a scan tomorrow , I know it’s a loss as all my last 5 losses happened at the same time . Now just waiting to miscarry as always .
I don’t even want to go for the scan because I already know what the answer is but they said I have to go .. good luck all you ladies … xxxx 💖

Today was otd for me. The cheaper sticks didn’t show any progression but the FR test looked reasonable. I’ve got a blood test on Monday so will wait and see what that shows xx

@Agapanthus13 scan at 3 , see what’s happening xxx I had a gush of blood yesterday but nothing since , and no pain , so we will see , maybe it’s progesterone estopping my bleeding xx

Hey , girls , good news ! I didn’t miscarry , I am 5+6 days today . 1 day off . So everything was Perfect and saw heartbeat .
I had Subchorionic hematoma, I will now book a week off work as I have physical job lifting and was Told to take it easy ❤️

@ShareLove thank you. I did a test this morning (same brand, same dilution, same time etc) and it was significantly lighter. I feel so unbelievably sad. Have got bloods on Monday.

@Agapanthus13 ohhh noooo lighter tests are sooo horrible and scary , normally when they get lighter it indicates a chemical pregnancy but hopefully yours is not ! Remember hcg only double 48-72 hours so maybe you just not had enough time since you last tested ? I wouldnt lose all hope yet ! Xx keeping everything crossed for you , it’s terrible hard I know! One thing after another with ivf xx keep me updated , not long till Monday ! But I know the wait feels like forever ! Xx could you post a pic here ?? Is it visible to an eye ( the line ) ? X

@ShareLove morning, just to let you know Unfortunately I started lightly bleeding last night. I spoke to the nurses and they said to test again this am incase it’s a chemical and unfortunately it is. My tests are now negative (have done a few) xx

@Agapanthus13 awww noooo I feel so sad for you 💔 I don’t know what to say , failed cycle is so upsetting , specially chemical as it gave you hope and took it all away straight away ! I’m sending you a massive hug and do talk on here still with us about your next steps xxx I would still love to follow your jorney whatever you do xxx I hope you take care and don’t beat yourself up about it as it’s not your fault . I also had failed cycle first time so I know your pain very well xxxx

@Agapanthus13 hey, can I ask how old you are and is this yoor first ivf cycle ? I’m 29 btw and it’s my second cycle .
Do you remember which embryo you trasferred and how many , was it blast and was it FET ? Sorry if you have already mentioned I just forget as it’s a lot of info to remember
I think it’s great that your embryo tried to implant , at least you know you can get pregnant , but maybe this particular embryo was just a bit weak and next time you could have strong embryo and fully stick and work

Hi @ShareLove it’s my second round and I’m 37. It was a 5-day blastocyst really good grade and a fresh transfer. The whole process has gone really well this time although I was poorly from the meds (mild OHSS decided in the end). I’m very fortunate this round to have another 5 Frosties so hopefully one at least will survive the thaw and we can go straight into a FET. Fingers crossed we can get a consultation in soon x

@ShareLove congratulations lovely!! Those are absolutely beautiful lines!!! And I’m so sorry to hear about your little scare especially after your previous losses but how amazing must that have been for you to go to the scan and find out evrything is well and hear the heartbeat!! Honestly over the moon for you you absolutely deserve this ❤️ How are you feeling?

@Agapanthus13 I am so so sorry to hear your news lovely 💔 you sound like you have had the exact same experience as me 😭 my first fresh transfer was a BFN, 2nd was frozen transfer and was BFP only to turn negative a week later. That was the first time I had ever seen a positive pregnancy test in my life like yourself I was so so unbelievably happy and to have it all pulled away so quickly was so so cruel and l ft we completely devastated. Took me 2 whole months to find the strength to go through it all again. So I know how you will be feeling but I promise it does get easier and you will find that inner strength to do it again ❤️

Just thought I'd catch up and also give you some updates.

@ShareLove try and relax. I had the exact same thing at 6 weeks. Big gush of blood for 2 hours then it stopped. Early scan showed baby was fine and heart beating 💓
You need to rest and relax and no heavy lifting. Take it really easy. Everything Will be fine.
My subchronic hematoma is completely gone now.

I had my dating scan and all is well. And no sign of the blood clot. So it's cleared up on its own.

@Agapanthus13 I'm so so sorry to hear you have a chemical. Must be so heartbreaking. I hope you find the courage and strength to try again and hoping that will be your time.

Hiya everyone, hope you are all doing ok? Just hoping for a bit of advise....

So after getting a wonderful consultation with Dr Thanos on Monday he has recommended a new direction. I am now starting a fresh cycle of IVF, but with the plan to do a natural frozen cycle after. He has recommended some tests before the natural cycle, but they are expensive and intrusive, and even he didn't sound particularly confident they would offer answers to my multiple miscarriages. But that they could..... so what experience do you ladies have of the following;

Endometrio – endometrial receptivity testing and culture Hysteroscopy
Endometrial scratching

Bacteriology/Virology/Immunology Covid-19
Lupus anticoagulant

Cytogenetic/Cytology
Karyotyping/cystic fibrosis/Y-deletion (together)

Any info, personal experience, thoughts are massively appreciated.... we are self funded and looking a a further £3.5k for these, which would me losing a round of IVF, worth it or not? Thanks everyone x
