FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@Ivfjourney2 did you test on Sunday? How did you get on? X

@tulipsandsnow how did your scan go on Friday? Is it what you expected? Xx

No I didn’t, I was scared lol. I’m going to leave it a couple of days. I don’t want to be disheartened. Xxx

I’m feeling okay ! My test date is Wednesday 23rd !
I’m feeling pretty normal
Right now , mild cramping ect but nothing much else, off my food too .
I am so anxious about chemical pregnancy ! Take a look at my lines from 5dpt to 11dpt which is today ! The lines have been quite the same for few days but today it looks a bit darker , so Iv been a bit stressed over Thai line progress 🥺

@ShareLove my test day is the 29th so another week yet, I’m going to wait until Friday I think 😬 I have had the odd sharpe twinge on my lower left not sure if that’s anything good though, as today I feel a bit heavy in my lower tummy.. it’s so stressful just not knowing what’s going on, is it working, is it the medication or is it my period getting ready to come 😭🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve been so tired too and my boobs are getting a little tender but all this could be just my period brewing!!

@Ivfjourney2 , ohhhh I know exactly how you feel ! The first few days will drag like mad ! I could not wait longer than 4 days after trasfer before I started testing! I am mad I know ! I had a shadow line 4 days past and next day it was very visible ! You have so much will power I am so jelous ! I really really really hope you get your BFP so we can be pregnancy buddies hehe we wouldn’t be far apart with dates ! I have just ordered a pregnancy blood test from medichecks so I can check my own hcg levels at home , just a finger prick test and send it away by post and get results in few days .
I want to know before I go to doctors officially . I will most likely order one more so I can see numbers doubling .
I just want to know what my hcg levels are just for fun

Your signs seems like positive signs ! I also had some very mild cramping 2-3 days after trasfer which felt so weird but almost like nothing . I never had painful cramps in 2ww like some people do , I guess everyone is different . Right now I don’t have any symptoms only tiny bit of cramping once in a blue moon . No sore boobs nothing . I do feel a bit nausea but this is on and off , I seem to feel it more when I’m not at work and just at home . Maybe it’s in my head let me know how you get on and if you test early let us know ! Exited for you

@ShareLove your progression lines are so beautiful 😍 Really so happy for you. I took a leaf out of your book and went to work after my embryo transfer this morning- last time I sat on the sofa for two weeks and that clearly didn’t work! Let us know how you get on with your blood test x

@Ivfjourney2 you’re doing so well not testing! Your symptoms sound really positive. How many days have you been told to wait to test? My old clinic was 14 days and my new one is 9!

I’m just on my way home and my husband has text to say he’s got Covid 😭 My mind has jumped to the worse case already- do you think if I catch it from him it will effect our chances of success with this transfer? My clinics nurses line is now closed, but guessing they’ll just tell me to keep away from him. The transfer all went so well this morning so feels like a bit of a damper on the day.

So you know what you transferred ! Blastocyst ! Do you know what grade ?
Now it will really drag it’s horrible !
I don’t think the Covid will affect your chances to be honest ! It’s nothing to do with your womb , I would not worry at all , plus you wouldn’t get I’ll straight away anyways even if you do catch it then by that time your blastocyst has already implanted inside
And I am also suprised mine stuck as I went back to work the next day and I had the hardest week of my life at work lifting and packing boxes so i though that I surely messed it all up now , I couldn’t just go home so I had to work still so I was just hoping for the best !!! I was always thinking , just imagine the people who get pregnant naturally , they do all sorts of exercise , drinking alcohol , workouts , lifting , wars, worry’s and still end up pregnant . They just tell you to relax so if it doesn’t work then you won’t blame yourself . Even though nothing you do would make a difference I belive .
Oh and I also ate pineapple on day 2 don’t know if it even helped but worth a go . Xx

@Agapanthus13 good job you didn’t catch Covid before trasfer otherwise they would have cancelled wouldn’t they ? Xx so it doesn’t matter now even if you do catch it
Ofcourse better not to be Ill or sick but if you catch it you can’t do much about it but it surely won’t affect your chances

@Agapanthus13 my clinic stopped doing Covid testing now from 2 weeks ago they only check temperature on day which is so good as it’s less to worry about !

@ShareLove thank you lovely, I really just needed to hear that 💕 I’ve sanitised the whole house and confined my husband to the spare room 😂 At least it feels like I’ve taken steps. And you’re right, at least little embie is in there now so treatment can’t get cancelled!

Yes, they said it is an AB 5-day blastocyst. I have 3more to freeze and then 4more they are leaving til tomorrow to see if they get to blastocyst stage. I felt on top of the world 💕 Last time we had 2mid grade ones and had to freeze all and only 1 survived the thaw. So this round already feels like a success in comparison. X

@ShareLove thankyou so much hunnie, fingers crossed now we can be 🤞🏻 And they are all positive signs 🙏🏻 I felt really down last night and quite negative but I’ve woke up feeling better today, thank god (minus the coldsore on my frigging lip)😬 I’m desperate to know but feel il wait a little longer, I’m day 8 today @Agapanthus13 was told to test day 14 which is Tuesday… will probably test Saturday. So glad your transfer went well, now onto the dreaded 2ww!! Try not to stress over the covid situation, I do feel for you though, if all times he could of caught it hey… but be glad it wasn’t last week as the transfer wouldn’t of gone ahead.

Hey girls I have phoned my clinic and going to pick up more medicine today ! Today was my OTD .
I asked about hcg betas but they don’t do they as I tested positive already I was hoping to get blood tests to check my levels but guess not …
I bought my own from medichecks to do it myself at home .
So now my scan is booked for 7+5 days , 13 of April .
I am 4+5 days today so over 2 weeks wait now to go
I’m a bit scared as all my 5 pregnancy’s ended at 5-6 weeks so if I go for my 7+5 week scan I might not see nothing Or misscarrige !
But at least this time I’m on medication so hopefully this will make my pregnancy go on for longer fingers crossed xx I am unexplained .

Im currently away in Birmingham, we stayed here last night as my son went to go and see stomzy so had a lovely night away which was needed to take my mind off things. I’m going to test this weekend for sure, I really hope it’s the BFP I’ve been waiting for but I just don’t want to get my hopes up so trying not to think about it too much. Xxxx

@Ivfjourney2 thank you for calming me ! I just feel so convinced that I’ll go for my scan and the baby has died at 5-6 weeks like before ….
I am so emotional I don’t know why ? It’s like it’s too good to be true that I could have a baby at the end of the year , it feels like it only happens to other people not me …. I’m 90% sure I won’t have a take home baby this year ……
Just hoping for medication to work …
Awh how nice to be in Birmingham ! I go around there often to see some family of mine who live around there , in Tamworth ?
I am praying for your BFP and what a lovely suprise it would be . We would both have babies this year
I feel like being off work is killing me , I’m
Overthinking ? I can’t wait to go back to work tomorrow to keep my mind busy and to get further in pregnancy without thinking about it too much like I do when off work .

@ShareLove ahhhh sounds like you’re really stressing yourself out lovely. As others have said, try and relax and enjoy this stage (so hard to do I know!!) but you’ve done so well and you’ve got the meds to help you through this stage. Please look after yourself and make sure you don’t get poorly with the stress and anxiety, we’re all here to help you through the journey xx

@Ivfjourney2 hope you’re doing well too. I’ve everything crossed for you for when you decide to test. I’m only 2dpt and I’m already thinking about it this time 😂 have to remind myself it would just be a waste of a test!!

@ShareLove which brand of tests do you use? The first response are so pricey, I might look at others for the early days and save those?

Wondfo , I find them Amazing !

@Agapanthus13 they are 10ml so very sensitive, I like the wondfo better than easy@home but both very good ! You’re more likely to get a line on wondfo first before easy@home , as wondfo test comes back faster than easy@home xxx

Unfortunately I’ve done a Covid test this morning and it’s positive 😔. I can’t help but feel really upset that it might affect this transfer, sat here crying atm. I spoke to the nurses when my husband caught it earlier this week and they said the issue is getting a fever, as high body temp effects little embies. My husband had been in bed for 3days so desperately hoping I don’t feel like him.
Sorry just rambling self pity!

@Agapanthus13 awww that’s shit ! But still I would say don’t worry ! If you’re already pregnant , it’s already been implanted in uterus so nothing will make a difference anymore . You’ll still stay pregnant , implanting takes 2-3 days after trasfer and you’re already past it
Also I had Covid before and all I had was a cough and headache , I never had a temperature so it doesn’t mean you will get it . Also I don’t know what happened to me on day 2-3 after trasfer , I had night sweats , proper sweating through my clothes 2-3 days after my trasfer so I had very high temperature as I was very hot . I don’t know if it was a symptom of my implantation or not but it was very weird , and it stopped after 2 days never came back again so tahts what makes me think it was implantation .
So yeah I think nothing will affect your results now ! You’re either pregnant already or your not . But I pray you are

@ShareLove thanks lovely xxx what’s the earliest you’ve had a positive line? I had my transfer on Tuesday so wondering when the earliest I can test without it being a total waste? Just soo desperate to know if it has implanted this time.
