FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@lauradxoxo I feel like I'm coming out the other side now so hoping I won't feel too bad anymore.
Yes twins! I'm so incredibly grateful but wow ivf is so stressful and yes as you say its now about staying pregnant it terrifies me that something will go wrong. Got the worst morning sickness at the moment and again I'm grateful to just even be pregnant but it's a killer 🤣

@Agapanthus13 I think we all adopt that mentality to try and emotionally protect ourselves. But I stayed as positive as I could throughout my tww and I’m Gona keep trying to remain positive as all the stress and worry and anxiety really isn’t good for us or our growing embies! @lauradxoxo my next scan is middle of January but I'm going to book a private one again as soon as I'm out of isolation just to check everything is OK and put my mind at rest a bit if I can x

@lauradxoxo I haven't done another pregnancy test as I did the beta and the number was really good according to my doctor. I'm repeating the beta tomorrow and hopefully they are at least 3 times higher.
Can you not ask your clinic to do the scan at 6 weeks as well as the 8 weeks? I feel you for being impatient till then!

@Alexm06 I'm really sorry with your news. I hope you'll have a good break during Xmas and that you'll be strong emotionally to start again. Best of wishes from me!

@Lilipa awww that’s great news! You starting to feel any symptoms yet? I really wish my clinic would offer blood tests but they don’t 🥲 they also can’t give me an early scan said I need to wait until 8 weeks it’s soooo long away 🥲 I think I’m Gona pay for a private scan at 6 weeks but il see how the next few weeks ago. I’ve been so postive throughout this whole cycle so not stopping now! Xxxxx

@lauradxoxo no symptoms.... I'm not having a good feeling about this one unfortunately... I'll let you know later tonight what the result was

@Lilipa awww no please stay postive! Your blood results were really good! Plus most people have no symtoms at all until 6-8 weeks of pregnancy! I have a stinking cold now had it for days….I’ve heard that’s common in early pregnancy as your immune system is lower xxxx

My gut feel is never wrong but I'm really trying to think positive and pray that this time I'm wrong

@lauradxoxo sorry only replying today, I had a BFN 😢 yesterday and today as it’s my OTD toady - we are absolutely gutted but on to the next we go. Luckily enough we have Frosties x3.. im Hoping I can start with my January cycle, just want this one to hurry up so I can move onto the next xxxx

@Ivfjourney2 awww I am so sorry to hear your news 😭 I know how gutted you will be feeling I took it really hard the last time. Just try and take the time you need to process it and try and relax and enjoy your time over Xmas. Then January will be here before you know it and hopefully you can start a new cycle and hopefully this one’s a success abs that will be a wonderful way to start off the new year 🎉 sending you lots of love xxxxx

Thankyou hunnie. It’s a hard journey we got to go through and so upsetting when things doing go how you wish Them too, this is my second failed cycle so finger crossed third time lucky now. Xxxx

@lauradxoxo I’m really well thanks. I see what you mean with the Lubion jabs, it’s almost like they cause a bruise under the skin- did my first one last night!! Taking it super chilled (which I’m not the best at) but 🤞🏻 It will help. How are you doing? Have you finished work for Xmas now? X

@lauradxoxo can I ask, do any of your friends & family know you’re doing ivf?

@Agapanthus13 yeah it’s not sore doing them it’s just afterwards it can be sore almost like your bruised under the skin as you say! The first one I did it even hurt to bend down!

I am still working I don’t finish to tommorrow and I have so much to do!! So disorganised this year as the ivf totally took over the last 8 weeks!

Yeah so my family and best friends know we are having to go through it as we found it we could t have children naturally 2 years ago now. So I told them we would be doing ivf but I haven’t told them i have just gone through a cycle! It’s only our parents that know! I won’t be telling anyone until I’ve had my viability scan xxxxxx

@Agapanthus13 thankyou, we will get there one day in sure.. I have lots of support around me, going to continue without the alcohol over Christmas even though I would love to have a good blow out 🤦🏼‍♀️ But I just don’t want it to set me back as I’m really hoping end of January we will be on another FET cycle… I will do my best to enjoy, for my 13 year old boy… we are going to tell him the bad news today but hopefully the 3 of us can put it at the back of our minds, enjoy the festive period and stay positive for 2022 🤞🏻🥰
As for the lubion injections, I was doing twice a day.. my first week was so painful but I found it eased a lot after that, I hope it easer for you.
@lauradxoxo we’ve told our families and best friends too, today has been hard as I’ve had them all messaging to see if it was good news, we’ve decided family only next time round as it’s a lot of pressure with everyone knowing isn’t it.. I bet you can’t wait to finish work, feet up and enjoy Christmas ladies. Xxx

Hey guys! Miss excessive tester here! Obviously you guys saw my test yesterday morning which was very light and it's pretty obvious what was happening. I did my usual evening test and it was darker did one this morning and it was a tiny bit darker then the evenings.I also did a strip one yesterday which had the very faintest of lines which had previously been getting darker. Done one this morning and there was a line as dark as the other ones maybe a bit darker but could be wishful thinking.I know what the outcome probably will be and i have accepted that but I need confirmation 100%. The clinic called with the bloods from Monday which were 92.6 and she wasn't worried at all about them said I was in the middle of high and low range as I was trying to convince her that it was on the low end haha. Anyways I'm now on a train to London to get a blood test haha I need to know before Xmas. I can't wait for my scan on the 4th for them to say there is nothing there.

@alexm06 you're going well coming to London for another blood test. But be aware that you're not supposed to do blood tests in different labs as they can't be comparable. Every lab is measuring differently. It'll still give you an indication if the pregnancy is progressing. You're pregnant though! I'm crossing my fingers for you to have a super beta result before Xmas!

Update from me: I had my beta back from this morning. It was 784. I can't believe it's 6 times higher than Sunday!! And I feel nothing, no symptoms at all. My doctor said it's super good and I should do a viability scan in a week. I'll book that for next Friday. I can't believe it still!

@Lilipa yeah I did think that but I need something to go on. I can't wait until the 4th as that's when the clinic would next see me as they close tomorrow until then. At least this way I will have some sort of answer.
Oh wow that's a great number! I wouldn't worry about symptoms a lot of people don't have them. But amazing news!

@Alexm06 I am soooo happy to read your message!! I really do think you have a great chance!! I was so surprised clinic told you to stop meds when you hadn’t had blood results and were still getting positives. Fingers crossed this is the one!!!

@Lilipa oh wow what an amazing beta !!! You must be over the moon!! I really wished my clinic done bloods but now I’m actually thinking I glad they don’t as I would end up obsessing about that the way I have everything else! I’ve taken 5 pregnancy tests all with strong lines abs a pregnant digital so I’m Gona relax now and enjoy being pregnant for the first time in my life! I’m just Gona have faith that it’s meant to be and it’s all Gona work out !

I managed to hold off testing until 6dp5dt but I did get a positive! 25 tests later (my poor wallet) I finally accept that im pregnant.

@Lilipa what an amazing beta! 😍 it reassures me because I have no symptoms either and starting to panic!

@Alexm06 will be praying for you. I know you've been through a lot and I hope your bubba is growing nice and strong for you!

Have you been booked in for your scans? My clinic have booked me in for 7+2! So long to wait 😩 I've also had some pink and brown spotting which the clinic insist is from the progesterone. I hope it is and not anything else. The lack of symptoms does not help!

So I already have my results and they are 41 so yeah stupid tests getting my hopes up but I knew deep down I had already accepted it. Good luck to you all!

@lauradxoxo you're pregnant and nothing else matters. No need to do betas and no more tests neither! I've read somewhere that at some point they start becoming faint but it has nothing to do with beta going down. When is your scan date?

@alexm06 I'm so so sorry to read the news about your second beta. Did you ask them if it has to do with the fact that it's different lab? I'm somehow still hoping yours will stick.

@prayingforabubba congratulations on your positive! This is excellent news!! Yes, I'm 13dpt and still no symptoms....but I'm trying to not think about it anymore since I have the good beta number. I was panicking and was so upset the past few days thinking it's over. Thank God for the moment it's good.

My doctor has asked me to do a scan next Thursday but I'll do it on Friday so that I hopefully spend the last day of the year in a very happy way. I'm hoping it won't be the opposite!
NHS has also booked me in for an early pregnancy scan for the 6th of Jan (I'll be 6 weeks 4 days then) because I'm part of the recurrent miscarriage clinic so they do much more tests in my case. I really hope this time it'll all stick together for us but for all of you as well!!!

@Prayingforabubba awww congratulations!! 25 tests wow!! We’re they all frer have you done any digis? What day past transfer are you today? Amazing news so happy for you!!

@Lilipa I don’t have a scan date yet I have to email my clinic and they send me a scan date in the post. Not great but it is what is is. That’s it I’m pregnant and I’m staying pregnant!! My lines have all been pretty strong they haven’t got fainter so I’m staying positive! Xxxx
