FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

I did my beta today and it came out early, as I was expecting it tomorrow. It was 130. My doctor said it's positive but the number does not indicate anything regarding the pregnancy and I'll have to do another one on Wednesday to ensure it's doubled. He is being cautious I guess to not get my hopes up. But I was so excited and then I landed back to earth after talking to him. I guess on Wednesday afternoon I'll know more...

@Lilipa is that a good number? I've never had one so I have no idea what it should be now. I've seen people with like 50 so I would think it's good! That fact is it's positive to it's a good sign. Fingers crossed it doubles for you! X

@Alexm06 I think it's a good number but my doctor said one number on its own can not tell us how viable the pregnancy is. He told me I need to repeat on Wednesday and only if it has at least doubled we'll be more relieved.

@Lilipa that sounds like a great number you should be sooo happy!! Your right tho I think they want to see it doubling so as long as it’s doubled on Wednesday all will be good! And I’m sure it will! I wish my clinic done betas !

Have you tested again today is your line darker?

Sorry just realised you said your 11 dpt today. Would you not test a few days early? As if your 12 dpt tommorow you should most likely get an accurate result on a hpt now. Is girls who got our BFN started getting them as early as 6dp5dt. Obviously it’s a personal decision but honestly the only way to know is to poas. I had zero symptoms throughout my wait and others have had loads xxxx

@lauradxoxo I would like to say no but then I would be lying haha. I've only done the one FRER as it is OTD and then will do one tomorrow before I call the clinic as they have been closed today. Hopefully they can squeeze me in for a blood test. If not I'll have to pay more to go elsewhere.
How are you getting on?

@Ivfjourney2 I'm 11pd5dt and today is my OTD so like @lauradxoxo said you should get a pretty reliable answer. But yeah do it when you feel ready to, I know some people like to live in their own little PUPO world haha.

@Alexm06 haha well congrats on your OTD!! And it’s still very much postive!! Hope your feeling really happy 😃 let me know what your clinic say about bloods I wouldn’t mind getting mine done but I’m sure my clinic don’t offer them.

I’m doing well! I tested again today too (lol) and my line was darker again so I’m not Gona test again now until OTD on Wednesday as my lines have been pretty strong. And shoukd have known the zero symptoms were too good to be to true! That’s the tiredness, headaches and mild nausea set in ! I’m actually grateful tho as now I’m starting to “feel” pregnant lol xxxxxxx

Thanks for your reply’s ladies, I felt they were all positive signs and have been pretty positive Throughout (last time I was really stressed and climbing the walls from day 1) but then earlier on today I had brown coloured discharge when I wiped, it’s stopped now though 🤷🏼‍♀️ ... I’ve read this could be normal but it still hasnt stopped me feeling a little on the negative side. My OH is working but he’s off from Wednesday so we’ve decided we will do it together then as whatever the outcome he will be around to hopefully celebrate or otherwise be supportive. Xxx

@Ivfjourney2 the brown discharge is very possible to be implantation bleeding that stayed in the womb for some days. If you see red blood you can call your doctor but it doesn't sound anything concerning at all at this stage.
I think your decision to test with your husband on Wednesday is very cute! Well done for being patient and can wait till then.

@lauradxoxo it's so great that you had even stronger line today! Your line was so strong so I don't know how it can become even stronger than that.
I haven't tested again after the digital and I am not going to waste another one since I did the beta and I'm going to do another one on Wednesday.

By the way, this might be good information for @Alexm06'm : I am not doing the blood tests with my clinic, but rather with a private clinic in London that's also open on Sundays and they send blood results within 4-6 hours. I wanted to have the opportunity to scan and do my blood tests at any day in the week. They're then sharing the results with my clinic.
Let us know, Alexm06'm what your clinic days tomorrow. I'm hoping you can have your beta so you can put your mind at ease!

@Lilipa I really do hope it is 🤞🏻 Thankyou for your positivity it’s just what us women need.. I just worry as I was day 10 when full period begun last time around. Hopefully that is not going to be the case now and this time will be full positive results in time for Christmas 🙏🏻 Xxx

Can I ask- is anyone else using estradiol patches? I started them last Tuesday and have since put a very noticeable amount of weight on my face. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m not a vain person but it’s really bothering me. I started progesterone pessaries on Friday too and they seem to have balance out a lot of the other symptoms which is great but I’m worried the fat face will continue until I stop the estradiol?

Hi @Easymeasy I would say it was too early to test Atm, try and keep yourself away from them tests, I know it’s hard but your only 3 days in. I’ve still not tested and I’m 12days in after my 5day blast, how I’ve managed not to test I don’t know lol. Xxx

@Agapanthus13 I'm taking estradiol tablets but I didn't have what you say in your message. If anything, they've done real good to me because my skin is now so clean and blooming!
Maybe best to ask your clinic. I've never heard that they can give swollen face, though.

@Easymeasy 3dpt was extremely early because the embryo has not even implanted properly so there can't be with hCG. You could test from 5dpt onwards but it's still going to be super early.

I've decided to take another blood test on Thursday instead of Wednesday and I'm hoping the number will be more than 500, since my first number yesterday was 130.

I will be signing out for a while, have had an awful week, a small bit of hope thrown in the middle (2 embryos had implanted, confirmed at the scan Thursday), followed by the lowest of low today, when they have confirmed bloods have dropped and pregnancy is not viable. I have to go Xmas eve to another scan to check everything is out :( I'm beyond heartbroken.

So I am wishing you all the very best for your journeys, and I'm sure I will see some of you in future groups.... whatever your situation, try enjoy Christmas, even if that is drowning sorrows as we will be ;-) loads of love to you all x

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I'm heartbroken to read your message. Your message reminds me how important it is to always know that something can go wrong. I've had 3 recurrent miscarriages at week 11 and week 8. It's so hard because you have had all the positive feelings from the positive pregnancy test, the scans, hearing the heartbeat... Turns out we can never be fully sure about how it'll progress and be fully happy until we hold our baby in our arms. It really reminded me that and I'll be happy with every good news but I'll try to remind myself that I can't be overly excited yet.
Out of curiosity, did you PGS your embryos?

@Ivfjourney2 that’s good you haven’t had enough more spotting that really sounds like implantation bleeding so really hoping you get your BFP!!

@Easymeasy welcome to the group and congrats on your transfer! I definately agree with @Lilipa your wayyyy to early to test. Implantation is usually complete day 5 so that’s the earliest you would be able to test. And even then it’s so early I would try wait to say 6 or 7 if you can!! I know it’s mental torture !! Wishing you all the best of luck!!

@Agapanthus13 I’m only taking estriadol tablets not the patches and defo not noticed a puffier face. Are you taking the tablets too? I totally get you as that would drive me crazy!!!!

@Lilipa yeah I went to the clinic and had it done this afternoon. Annoyingly I won't get the results for 2-3 days and booked in for another one on Wednesday and god know when those results will come back. I wish I lived closer to London I was frantically googling this morning to try and find a clinic that would give me my results quicker but I couldn't. There doesn't seem to be many down here. Soooo annoying
