Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

Agapanthus13 · 15/12/2021 20:49

@lauradxoxo thank you 😘 I’m feeling really positive for you, really hope this is your time x

lauradxoxo · 15/12/2021 20:51

@Lilipa @Agapanthus13 thank you girls!! We definitely all need to stay postive !! The journey is hard enough! We are one strong group of woman and I am saying my prayers every night for all of us! Whatever the outcomes we should all be so proud we are warriors 🤣❤️

All of our times are about to come ❤️❤️❤️

Alexm06 · 16/12/2021 06:42

Soooo I caved in and tested early yesterday. It was on a strip test so yeah it looked positive but was very faint and could have easily been an evap line. So I thought I would test this morning and got the same again. I then moved onto the first response and thought no way those shitty tests were playing with me and well this came up! I'm still very cautious and I know how quick it can disappear and it will probably be me posting again in a few days saying it chemical but for now I'm trying to keep positive!

@Alexm06 awww that’s brilliant news- def a good line there 💕 congrats!

Lilipa · 16/12/2021 08:53

@Alexm06 this looks like a very strong like to me!! Wink I know how you feel with fearing it might be a chemical but I'm really hoping for you that'll stick. I think it's too strong of a kind to go away!! All my positive energy for you!

Lilipa · 16/12/2021 08:59

I couldn't help myself and did a HPT myself this morning, 6dpt of a blastocyst. The line is not strong and I have history with evaporated lines... In my October transfer I had some faint lines the day I did my hCG and then the hCG was completely negative. So I'm super cautious but I'm hoping this time it's a yes for me. Daffodil

lauradxoxo · 16/12/2021 09:07

Ong congratulations @Alexm06 and @Lilipa I had such a good feeling for yous so happy to see you got your BFPs!!!! Yeah are fabulous lines for 6dp5dt!! Soooooo over the moon for you both ❤️❤️❤️

Lilipa · 16/12/2021 09:55

@Agapanthus13 and @lauradxoxo thank you for being positive for us.
I am not happy at all. In fact I'm a bit upset because I'm worried the story will repeat itself and I'll have the same as I had in October. I will try to not test again since I don't want to be disappointed if the line is not stronger. I'm not good at keeping myself away from testing but I might have to, especially now that I see how angry and nervous this result has made me today.
Ughhhhh we can never relax us women Confused

lauradxoxo · 16/12/2021 10:07

@Lilipa awww I completely understand after I’m your experience but please try and stay postive. A line is a line!! And yours is a great line! I had such a good feeling for you honestly I really think it will all be ok ❤️

Stay strong!! Xxxxxx

lauradxoxo · 16/12/2021 10:10

@Alexm06 @Lilipa and remember your both still soooo early at 6dp5dt so you would expect line to be faint! Those lines are just Gona get stronger!!!! Yous got this 💪🏼 Xxxx

Lilipa · 16/12/2021 10:33

@lauradxoxo thank you so much for the positive messages! I'll try to stay positive as you say.
I'm hoping you'll have wonderful news to share with us on Saturday! How many dpt will that be for you if you do test on Saturday?

lauradxoxo · 16/12/2021 10:40

@Lilipa aww no problem I have a really good feeling for you ❤️ I know I’m prayingggggg I get my BFP on Saturday too!! I will be 8dp5dt on Saturday! I was thinking about testing tomorrow but i have such a busy day at work and if it’s negative I know il just cry all day lol so Saturdays best when I’m not at work can just curl into a ball and cry all day if I don’t get my positive result 🤣 xxxxxx

Lilipa · 16/12/2021 11:26

@lauradxoxo I think you're doing right not testing tomorrow if you're going to work. 8dpt5dt is also early so even if it is negative (fingers crossed it's not!!) you should test on Sunday as well. With blastocysts they say to test on the 9th day. My best friend who got pregnant did a blood test at 9dpt blastocyst and the hCG was 22. So I'm not sure this would have been picked up by a HPT. Sometimes the embryo implants late. Smile

lauradxoxo · 16/12/2021 12:01

@Lilipa yeah I’m Gona stay strong and hold outhouse to Saturday! Although it’s not that strong as it’s still 5 days before OTD! But I’m pretty sure I should see a line by then if it’s going to be positive.

How are you feeling today? Symptoms wise? Xxxxx

Agapanthus13 · 16/12/2021 12:01

@lauradxoxo it must be so hard but i agree, if you can hold on til Saturday will be much nicer than testing on a work day.

Can I ask you all - what’s a chemical and hGC test? I tried having a bit of a google but nothing much came up. I felt too silly to ask before.

Alexm06 · 16/12/2021 12:19

@Lilipa ahhh congrats!!! I wouldn't worry your still early I mean I'm 8dp5dt andu thought it would be a bit darker but I'm just trying to be a bit positive haha

Faerun · 16/12/2021 18:27

@Lilipa and @Alexm06 Congrats!!!

@Agapanthus13 Hcg is the hormone that shows you’re pregnant, so what the home pregnancy tests detect. Some clinics ask you to go for a blood test, called a beta hcg, so you might see people call it a beta.
A chemical is an early loss where the embryo implants and hcg is produced and can be detected, but then it stops and the hcg drops back down - think it’s anything too small to be confirmed on an ultrasound.

Faerun · 16/12/2021 18:38

@Lilipa was your friends pregnancy ok? Looking for good stories from low hcg…mine was 95 12 days after

Lilipa · 17/12/2021 04:13

@Faerun yes, my friend's pregnancy was good. There have been cases of women who's beta dropped and then went up again. Hold on there, your baby is growing inside you and you'll both be just fine. Smile

@lauradxoxo I have had no symptoms besides the dreams, which can be arguable whether they relate to the pregnancy. So, I've been awake for 1.5 hours in the middle of the night freaking out that something is not progressing again. This will be the third time I'm getting positive pregnancy test and pregnancy will not progress. And the last two times there is nothing to support why it would not progress... Both embryos are PGS tested and my uterus as well as endometrium is perfectly normal. At the recurrent miscarriage clinic about a year ago they had told me that from my blood tests they saw that I need to be on aspirin and duphaston as soon as I find out I'm pregnant. Wonder if this is why they're not progressing... Because I just remembered that and I have never taken these tablets. I wonder if that would make such a difference at so early stage.. I'm not even 4 weeks pregnant. I don't even know who to ask. I'm so worried I've neglected a guidance (because I forgot, not because I deliberately neglected it) and this has caused my healthy babies to not grow.

Agapanthus13 · 17/12/2021 10:25

Thank you @Faerun that’s really helpful 🙏 gave me the confidence to speak to my clinic this morning too.

@Lilipa hope you’re doing ok lovely. When is your official test day? Perhaps you could contact your clinic and mention to them that you remember being told about taking aspirin & duphaston and see what they suggest?

Good news my end, I just had my lining scan and I’m at 8mm so booked in for a transfer next Wednesday. The last day they’re open so literally to the wire 😂

lauradxoxo · 17/12/2021 11:05

@Lilipa awww I’m so sorry to hear your getting so worried. Have you tested again today? Is the line any darker? I wouldn’t definitely speak to you me clinic about the tablets you were recommended and see what their thoughts are. There may be a reason for them not suggesting them to you on your protocol. Try to keep your chin up I honestly think this one will stick for you ❤️

@Agapanthus13 amazing news!! I knew it would be!! So happy for you hun buzzing for you to get to transfer day now!!

@Faerun how are you holding up? Are you still seeing line progression on your tests? Xxxxx

@coffee1988 @Prayingforabubba how are you girls holding up in the wait? Anyone caved and decided to test?

I’m still holding out but it’s soooo hard! Xxxx

Lilipa · 17/12/2021 11:44

I have talked to the recurrent miscarriage clinic and they said it's very crucial I start taking these pills asap. They've prescribed them and my husband will pick them up. I'm hoping it's not too late. I haven't tested again but I am so worried things are not going as planned... I have ordered some tests from Amazon and will take one tomorrow. It's not the same brand, though, which I've now regretted. I ordered clear blue test as opposed to first response that I took yesterday. That means that I won't be able to compare the lines. Well...if there is a line tomorrow. I'm not very positive.

@lauradxoxo well done for waiting so long! Tomorrow will be a very good day for you! I'm thinking super positively for you!

@Agapanthus13 that's the best news! It must be your lucky one given it's the last time they do transfers before the new year!!

Faerun · 17/12/2021 15:45

@Lilipa Thank you! Hope all goes well for you!

@Agapanthus13 Glad to help abs happy you’ve got your transfer booked!

I’ve had my second test back and the doubling time is spot on, so they’ve booked my scan - so feeling cautiously optimistic at this stage.
