FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

Need some advise ladies. Double transfer 29th, strong positive 4th. Had mega breakdown yesterday. Worlds worst period pains, and loads of bleeding, including a fair amount of tissue. It started brown. But got more and more red. Went to bed convinced I had lost the baby(ies). I know it's a really tiny chance, but I'm still slightly optimistic.... am I completely stupid? So the bleeding has slowed, and it's now deep red and brown with no tissue, not enough to make it to my pad over night, just there when I wipe. I have tested this morning, and the tests are stronger than yesterdays.... wtf is going on? I'm booked for a private early scan 22nd- am going to have gone mad by then! Emailed the clinic yesterday when I started bleeding, was told to continue meds and they would see me for my planned 8 week scan (3 weeks away). Which just makes me mega angry they won't even do a blood test or anything to see if HCG is where is should be.

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 It might be worth speaking to your GP. They can’t generally refer you to the epu until you’re 6 weeks, but it’s good for them to be aware. Once you hit 6 weeks the epu is who you need for bleeding as they can early scans and will also deal with any interventions if they are needed. When I had bleeding previously, my GP asked to see me the same day for an examination.
Fingers crossed for you and that it’s a normal pregnancy bleed.

@lauradxoxo I hope so I feel like my boobs don't hurt as much as they did with my miscarriage and chemical which is annoying. Yeah Sunday or Saturday evening as I stupidly said I would work Sunday thinking it would be good if it was bad news to just get back on with life and they don't know so I can't talk about it.

@coffee1988 I wouldn't be I'm not positive. iIt was the only cramps I've had really I think it was just some weird cramps. And yeah like I said my boobs aren't as sore as they have been previously. I just wanna know now I'm getting impatient haha.
I was only allowed a double transfer on my 3rd transfer because I'm 32. My friends clinic said she couldn't do it on her second so I think maybe it a general rule they all have.

@XjustagirlX I'm sorry they really sucks! I agree with @coffee1988 take the tablets that delay your period haha make sure it doesn't come.

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I'm sorry i can imagine it has been very stressful. I hope you get some answers today!

Thank you @Alexm06 I hope so @Faerun but this is heavy painful bleeding so 98% sure it's end of road. Just so confused as to why tests are stronger today than yesterday. My head is so far up my arse and I hate no one will deal with you til 6 weeks!

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 awww I am so sorry to hear your news this morning. I know you will be worried sick and this is easier said than done but definitely try not to stress. It’s really positive that’s your still getting such strong lines that’s really reassuring. I have a few friends plus read on here a few people having quite heavy bleeds early on in their pregnancies like yourself and it turned out to be a subchronic heamatoma so it may be that? I hope your ok and get some answers today xxxxx

@Alexm06 don’t lose hope stay positive! Cramps and sore boobs are such a good sign! No matter how Mild! I have zero symptoms over here! Literally zero! Not a slight twinge headache heavy boob nothing ! 🤣 but I am staying soooo positive! Praying I see those two pink lines on Saturday! Will be praying for you too 🙏❤️

@lauradxoxo waiting for clinic to call back. They wouldn’t give the result right away which has worried me. Did another test this morning, though a different brand, and it looks a little better, but still very nervous.

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 I'm so sorry to read your news this morning. It might be what @lauradxoxo said or it might be that you've just lost one of the babies. It's often for someone that transfers two or three embryos to bleed because they've lost one of them. Think of the scenario that makes you feel more comfortable and happy and stick with this thought until you find differently. That's my strategy, otherwise we'd go crazy with all these waits and scenarios we make in our heads whilst waiting to find out.
The 22nd is not too far away and the weekend is almost there so you can distract yourself then. Perhaps if you did private HcG would make you feel better? I'd do one today/tomorrow and repeat after 48 hours just to see if it's increasing (which would be great news!). By this you will have some news available until the 22nd so the wait will not feel like an eternity.

@lauradxoxo I did a lot of shopping, lifting and house work yesterday so in the evening I had bad period pain. My husband took over and I rested and slept early and feel nothing today so I'm glad. I had really vivid dreams again last night!
I have my beta on Sunday and the results will be sent on Monday because they don't work till late on Sunday. But I'm thinking of taking a home pregnancy test. I'm just worried because in October when I transferred again, my pregnancy tests were faint positives and my beta was close to zero..! I don't know how that's possible. Wonder if that is what they call chemical pregnancy?
I'm worried that if I test on Saturday or Sunday and it's either positive or negative I'll be perhaps even more stressed than now when I know nothing. You know what I mean?

Not awesome news here, bloods are back and low, 95 on 12dp5dt so they’re getting me in for repeats and in the meantime I’ve been warned to watch out for ectopic symptoms.

@Faerun aww I’m sorry to hear this. I’m not sure about bloods so you know what they should be at this stage?

@Lilipa ohhh period cramps could actually be implantation ?? That could be a good sign for you!! And your vivid dreams again too! I have a good feeling for you!!

If your worrying or feel anxious I would just wait until your blood results then. Then you know conclusively your outcome and there’s nothing for you to feel anxious about it over analyse over the weekend! My clinic don’t over bloods so HPT is my only option! Xxx

@Faerun there have been cases where hCG has dropped and then it went straight up. I'm crossing my fingers for you and hope that it's a pregnancy that will stick!

@lauradxoxo fingers crossed this was implantation symptoms! I haven't eaten anything since this morning because I'm not feeling like I want anything to eat, you know what I mean? I'm really hoping this is another sign! I've had a hard time trying for nearly 3 years now, so I really need some good news soon. I agree with you, it might be best to just wait for the hCG.
Are you testing on Saturday? Hope you're still positive and not worrying too much!

Yes Saturday for me I’ve been really positive and upbeat about it all but had a total wobble today about lack of symptoms as everyone else seems to have at least something and I literally feel nothing. Not had one twinge one headache I’m just so damn normal! Trying to remain positive but you know you can have uo and down days with this emotional rollercoaster we are on! Xxxx

I didn't have symptoms on my previous 4 pregnancies so don't even think it can be a bad sign. It's absolutely normal! Also, the symptoms I'm experiencing can very easily have nothing to do with pregnancy, it's just that it happens I'm more aware of them this month.
I had another transfer of a PGS'd embryo in October so this will be my second transfer. How about you?

@Lilipa that’s it isn’t it if we weren’t going through ivf we probably wouldn’t notice all the small things but your on hyper alert and looking out for every small twinge or feeling!

This is my second transfer too my first was a fresh 5AA and failed. I have another two frozen but I really really want this one to work! I didn’t PGT-A test my embryos but kinda wishing I did so that I knew I was transferring a genetically normal one and not worrying if it wasting a transfer on one that’s never Gona implant xxxxx

@lauradxoxo aw try not to stress over, you’re doing such an amazing job being positive and spreading the positivity around this group - which is really appreciated 🙏 Most people would have no idea they’re pregnant at this stage and have no symptoms etc. Just keep plodding on, it’s nearly test day xx

@Agapanthus13 aww thank you lovely!! Yeah it still feeling really positive jusy had a bit of a wobble this morning!! I’m just desperate to see those two pink lines!! I’ve never had a positive test ever in my life. 35 and been trying 3 years it’s so tough.

But as I say we got this girls! We are all soo incredibly strong and I’m so proud of each abs every one of us for all we are having to go through. It’s Gona make us all even better mummies!! Xxxxxx

@lauradxoxo tell me about it! I turn 37 next month, been trying for 4years and also never had a positive. Every month I test out of pure Hope and excitement. I think Unless you’ve been on the IVF journey, you’ve really no idea what an emotional rollercoaster it is.
I’ve been feeling pretty stressed today. I’m terrified of catching Covid before my transfer or the clinic closing due to Covid - this happened 23rd December to me last year and I think I’m a little scarred 😳

@lauradxoxo I’ve seen a bit varied on the numbers, some saying the average is around 140, others saying they like over 200 by that point. I’ve ordered some more frer anyway so I can be a little prepared for the next bloods.

Ps- I know them closing is extremely unlikely, but it doesn’t stop me stressing over it 😂

@Agapanthus13 awww bless you too it’s so hard going isn’t it. Takes such an emotional toll. You watch evryone around you fall pregnant and have families and as much as your happy for them you just wonder when it will be your turn 😭 really praying we get some Christmas miracles ❤️❤️

@Agapanthus13 aww I would try not to worry juts maybe try and be extra cautious and not go anywhere unless you really have to. It’s definitely a Worry tho I get that I’m kinda feeling the same barely wanting to leave the house incase I get it! Xxxxx

@Agapanthus13 I’m sure when you go for your scan you will be ready for transfer next week I’m sure of it 😘
