FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

Well, I’ve done a frer at 12dp5dt and there’s a line. It’s not a squinter, but only about half the strength of the control line. My last positive was almost a dye stealer at this point, so I’m feeling rather cautious, especially as nausea and sore boobs have reduced - hoping it’s not a chemical but that’s what my gut says. But my last transfer was fresh and this was a fet and not fully expanded going in, so who knows!
Going to go in for bloods today so more waiting to see what the situation is.

Do you know if sex dreams are really an early sign of pregnancy or if is this a myth?
It's the second night in a row that I have very intense sex dream in early morning hours!

@Lilipa when I had a BFP months ago (ended up a chemical but still) I have very vivid dreams in the run up including night sweats. Apparently it can be caused by the hormone changes. Could totally be a sign!

I've had a TOTAL shocker this morning. Husband just bloody went and tested positive on a lateral flow. So no blood test for me on Friday. HPT for me instead! Still no symptoms really, I keep thinking I can feel the vvvv mild cramp but pretty sure I'm willing it into existence. Also keeping imaging that maybe my boobs are starting to hurt, but again it could be because I'm desperately pressing them so much!

How is everyone else getting on?

@Lilipa haha yes I have heard this!! Not sure if it’s a myth but definitely heard a lot of posters talk about it! Have you been having any other symptoms? Xxxxx

@coffee1988 Sorry to hear about your chemical. Sounds like more have experienced the vivid dreams situation. Fingers crossed it's a sign.
How horrible that your husband tested positive! I'm pretty sure the rules have changed and you don't need to quarantine if you're fully vaccinated and have come in contact with a positive case. Has this changed?

I don't have any other symptoms but I never had any really with any of my 4 pregnancies (one full term, now healthy 3 year old and 3 miscarriages).

Hi all just a quick check in hope everyone's doing okay I went to my scan appointment today and unfortunately my lining hasn't thickened at all since last They made the decision to cancel my cycle until after the holidays so they can come up with a new plan It might be that I go for a natural cycle which I'm a bit nervous about because my body is notoriously unreliable. I'm going to say goodbye for now might catch some of you in the January February thread good luck to everyone in there two week wait and for those of you who have had a BFP xxx

@coffee1988 ahhh sorry to hear about your hubby! How is he feeling? Hope you don’t end up getting poorly 😭

I am the exact same no symptoms yet at all now 4dp5dt. I keep imagining im feeling crampy but it’s just tender Tummy from all the jags!

@CharlieBalf awww I’m so sorry to hear about your lining scan 😭 I had a really good feeling for you aswell! Take time to relax and unwind from all the treatment and try and enjoy yourself over the festive period.

@Lilipa I have also heard this about the dreams. My friend who was pregnant said she had them I think she was like 5 months but I've still heard it's a thing! Hopefully a positive sign.

@CharlieBalf oh I'm so sorry. Hopefully they come up with a plan that will work for you! Iining was a shit on my last FET.

Well I'm now 6dp5dt and I had some really intense cramps early only on and off for about 5 mins so probably doesn't mean anything plus I think I'm past the implantation cramps. Still just sore boobs nothing else. On my chemical I was really tired by this point so yeah not this time.

@Alexm06 I'm currently 5dpt and have zero symptoms. Not even sore boobs 🥺 I did throw up this morning and have been nauseous but I think I have food poisoning. Will you be resting soon. ? I think I may test on Thursday to prepare myself.

But join the no symptoms club! I have zero! I am still remaining hopeful though 🙏 I am going to test Saturday … 5 days before OTD 🤣🤣 xxxxx

@Alexm06 those cramps sound promising! Even at 6dpt that could be your little embie snuggling right in! Keeping everything crossed for you! Are you still planning on testing on Sunday? Xxxx

@CharlieBalf I'm so so sorry to hear that. How utterly frustrating for you. At least they have a plan of action in place. I really hope it works out for you next month and I hope you're feeling OK about it.

@Alexm06 the sore boobs and cramps sound wonderful! Never thought I'd be so jealous of that but I am! Such a good sign!

I think I'm still in the no symptoms club. Boobs are very very slightly sensitive which I'm clinging onto with my last thread of hope but I still thinking I'm mostly imagining it. I'm 5d5dt today. Both times I've been temporarily pregnant in the past my boobs were on fire and I had cramps so praying for both of those! However I have a gut feeling this transfer hasn't worked sadly. I felt super super low yesterday and the day before but since the clinic said I could try again straight away I feel less depressed. I think it's the endless waiting that get's me down. I started meds in September and did a freeze all as I over stimulated so it's been a long old wait to get to this first transfer. It doesn't feel so bad if I can focus on another one in month.

Also, can I get thoughts.... I have 3 blasts left. 4aa, 4ab and 4ba. None are genetically tested and i don't think my clinic offer it. I would really like to pop two in next time. I'm 33 and it would only be my second transfer. Do you think that's OK? If only 50% of embryos are healthy then at least that gives me more of a chance?

My fet has been cancelled. My lining only got to 5.5mm and I was on 12mg. It then reduced to 5mm. The drugs don’t seem to be doing anything for me because I get to 5mm without estrogen on a natural cycle.

My consultant has will add in patches next time. Luckily she said I can start straight away on my next period which I’m really happy about because I thought I would have to wait about 6 weeks.

But they close over Christmas so I’ve worked out that my period needs to stay away until at least 20th December for me to have a chance to go straight away.

@XjustagirlX what a nightmare. I'm so sorry. Just a suggestion but you could try northisterone to ensure it stays away? I've used it to control the start of my last two cycles for the start of my stimulation cycle and start of my fet cycle as I as on holiday when my period was due to start. It's just progesterone, you take 3 a day (starting about 4 days before it's due) and then your period starts about 2/3 days after stopping it. My clinic prescribed it for me both times

@XjustagirlX aww I’m so sorry your cycle has been cancelled too 😭 I know how it feels I had a fresh cycle cancelled at the start of the year 😭 I hope they can put a plan in place for you and that’s good they are going to add the patches too so hopefully you will have a better response in the new year. @coffee1988 this is my second transfer and I’m 35. I had 4 blasts frozen and I asked if I could transfer two as my last transfer failed but they told me no because of my age ans said they wouldn’t recommend two until I had 3 fail transfers which is when my clinic diagnose implantation failure xxxx

I’m ok Thanks @lauradxoxo my scan went ok. Lining has grown but only to 6.7. They have given me patches and I’m going back for another scan on Friday. If I haven’t reached full thickness by then it will be cancelled and rescheduled for Jan. It was a bit of a long and frantic appointment & works been equally hectic today but staying positive and keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

How are you doing? Managing to keep yourself distracted in the run up to test day? Xx

@XjustagirlX really sorry to hear your transfer has been cancelled today. My fresh got cancelled back in May & I was devastated. Hope you’re doing ok xx Great news you can get straight on with it on the next cycle though. Hope the timings work out for you. Someone else on this thread a few pages back also mentioned asking about taking progesterone for a few days to push back AF. Might be worth talking to your clinic about. X

@Agapanthus13 aww I’m glad it’s grown!! Your not too far off now! Most clinics normally give the go ahead when you reach 7 so fingers crossed you’ll be ready by Friday! Will keep my fingers crossed for you xxxx

Trying to distract yourself from symptom spotting is really a talent 🤣🤣 I am hopeless and constantly trying to imagine things that are just not there 🤣🤣
