FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@lauradxoxo thank you for your reply. I really hope it's as you say. I'm trying to keep positive even though I'm like you and many others on this thread... I don't have any symptoms. I know it's really... Just transferred on Friday the 10th, but some symptoms would definitely make me be more positive.

I'm doing a private beta hCG in exactly one week but they told me my result will probably be sent on the Monday the 20th. I really want this time to work!
There was a rainbow on my way to the clinic the morning of the transfer so I really hope this was a sign our rainbow baby is coming!

@Lilipa yeah definitely don’t stress one time a few hours late shouldn’t make a difference and the 2WW is stressful enough!!

I know I’m the same I really wish I had twinges or cramping or something! But as my mum said when people get pregnant naturally they have no idea that there is an embryo implanting and usually don’t know they are pregnant until they miss a period! Most people don’t even get symtoms until a few weeks after that! We just need to relax we got this !!

And wow about the rainbow if that’s not a sign I don’t know what is ! 🌈

Thank you all. This has made me feel much better. I’ve been feeling so low today and convinced myself it hasn’t worked but of course it’s so early at 3dpt so I shouldn’t rule myself out yet. I just wish I felt something to suggest it might have worked!

@coffee1988 aww don’t be down lovely! I literally have no symptoms At all. Not even a slight twinge! But I am staying positive I feel really good about it. I’m definitely believing in the pregnant until proven otherwise saying!

@lauradxoxo I need to take a leaf out of your book! I’m all over the place emotionally. Keep spontaneously bursting into tears it’s so embarrassing 🤦‍♀️ I’m going to put it down to the progesterone!!

@coffee1988 aww don’t be silly it’s not at all embarrassing! Remember how much hormones we are pumping into our bodies! Only naturally to get emotional. I know it’s hard as we want it so bad I’m just trying to stay as positive as I can. It’s Gona be a very long week tho!! Xxxxxx

@coffee1988 no need to feel guilty for crying and being emotional. We've all gone through a
lot and the hormones do not make it easier...
This round I've tried to think of it differently and think that whatever the nature wants will happen. If it's not going to implant it's because it was not meant to and our perfect baby is somewhere else and will come soon.

I cross my fingers for all of you that it will work and we'll all get a PFP this time.

When are you all testing by the way?
I'm having a private beta hCG in one week from today.

@Lilipa aw try not to worry as the others said that medication isn't time sensitive.

Getting nervous about my second lining scan on Tuesday and hoping the meds have been enough 🤞

I’m going to hold out on testing until Friday where I have a blood test booked for first thing. I think I should have result early afternoon and I have the afternoon off work to deal with whatever outcome it may be 🤞🤞🤞

How about everyone else? Testing dates mostly late this week or early next?

@coffee1988 @Lilipa y clinic don't do blood testing which is distracting because I've had a google and it's a bitch it get one private here or takes 4 days for the results which is a bit of a joke. I will ask if I get a positive if I can pay for one. I just think after the miscarriage and the chemical I would like to know my numbers but anyways yeah test date isn't till Sunday and I'm working today in London tomorrow then working the rest of the week so probably won't test until then so I'm not an emotional wreck at work haha

@coffee1988 I’m glad your feeling a bit better this 2WW really is the worst part. Obsessing over ever tiny thing it’s such an emotional rollercoaster.

And absolutely @Lilipa if it’s going to work it will work if it doesn’t work for whatever reason that’s natures way of say it wasn’t meant to be and our healthy baby is still waiting for us 🥰

My OTD is a week tommorow but I’m not waiting until then! I’m Gona test at home with a frer on Saturday xxxxxx

@Alexm06 oh yeah I would definitely be like yourself and want to know my numbers especially after your losses I would push and see if they can offer you one. Your like me really busy week at work…think it’s probably a good thing to distract us all from the symptom spotting!

@lauradxoxo hey - nothing on my end. 4dpt and no signs at all. I occasionally think I can feel a vvvvv mild pressure in my uterus (which was the main sign I had when I have a natural chemical last year - so hoping and praying to feel it again) but 99.99% sure I'm just imagining it. I think my jeans are prob just too tight!

I also just messaged my clinic to see, if my Friday bloods come back negative, they'd let me start a new fet cycle next week when my period starts rather than wait a month (assuming it will start when I stop the meds). Has anyone done that before? The thought of waiting to clear a whole cycle first makes me feel horrifically depressed. I've only been on estrogen and progesterone, no steroids or stims so from what I've read it's totally fine to back to back them. No doubt they'll say no but worth a shot

@coffee1988 Hope what you feel is a positive sign and it's not in your imagination.
That's an excellent question regarding going immediately to the next try. I'm also just on estradiol and progesterone tablets so I'd be interested to know what your clinic advised. I'm the same...why wait if I can kick off immediately a next try?

@lauradxoxo Thank you! Test day is tomorrow so very nervy today! Clinic upped my progesterone and so far so good. Not many symptoms other than stuff that can be connected to progesterone, and mild nausea when I first wake up, so pretty convinced it hasn’t worked. But we shall see. How are you coping?

@coffee1988 that sounds very promising! I am not sure about back to Back fet I would like to know too as I would also want to go into next one straight away if this doesn’t work.

I’m doing ok just resting not really doing much. Going back to work tommorow kinda looking forward to it to keep myself busy! I keep imagining symptoms that aren’t there ! Xxx

@coffee1988 hang on in there lovely! We all have emotional and down days, remember to be kind to yourself, this journey is so tough emotionally let alone physically with all the meds and hormones. Hope you’re feeling a little brighter today xx

Hi @Agapanthus13 I’m absolutely fine! Feeling totally normal! But to be honest I wish I had some sort of symptoms in only 3dpt but I just want some sort of sign it’s working! It’s my 2nd transfer. Unfortunately first One was a BFN from a fresh transfer so I’m hoping it his frostie a sticky one!!

so in case anyone was interested, my clinic have just come back to me. They're so amazing. They've said in case it's bad news on Friday I can start a new FET cycle straight away which makes me feel so much better knowing it won't have to wait 2 months for another transfer. The only downside is that they close over Christmas for a few days so they've suggested I could continue on the progesterone to keep AF at bay for a few extra days.

@Agapanthus13 good luck with your lining scan tomorrow. I know the feeling so well since mine was super slow to get it's act together but I have everything crossed for you

@coffee1988 keep going! Not much you can do bit sit back and let narure do its thing. Great news about the next cycle (should it.be required) it doesn't hurt to have a plan b on uoir pocket 🙂

@lauradxoxo my boobs hurt but I'm sure it's just the extra progesterone being topped up. Other then that I've just been overcome with emotions in the last hour haha I just feel so overwhelmed with everything and then trying to make plans for London tomorrow and my friends aren't being helpful haha. Damn meds make me so emotional sometimes haha.
That's great news @coffee1988 my clinic wouldn't do that. Maybe if this doesn't work my new clinic will haha.
@Agapanthus13 yeah trying to keep busy and now I've stupidly said I would work on Sunday then realised it's my test day! Maybe that's why I've just been overcome with emotion hhaha. How you doing?

@coffee1988 thank you for updating us regarding the answer from your clinic. I'm hoping you won't need it but it's always good to have a plan B that's not too far in the future.
