FET November/ December

Hi,

I'm not sure if there is already a thread open for a FET in November / December.

I was due to have a FET last week however after having two lining scans, I tested positive for coronavirus 🙄. I should now be having a FET after my next bleed (mid November) and hopefully a FET early December. Would be great to chat you others on a similar timeline. X

@ShareLove it's so hard not to test early isn't it? Frer is supposed to be 99% accurate up to 6 days prior to period, so that's what's made me feel like I'm out because I think I'd be equivalent to 10dpo today?
Still hoping for a miracle obviously, but I don't know...

@ShareLove something first showed up for me in the early evening of 4 dpt, BUT, it was the faintest line ever, proper squinter- and that was for a 6 day old blast that was fully hatched before transfer. I have heard of plenty of no results on 4, 5, 6 day transfer and then something on 7 day.

@FET2021 I tested 3 x on 5 days post transfer, but only once yesterday and once today (7 days post transfer), and will keep doing 'just' once a day FMU until viability scan! Hoping beyond hope it can make it until then and that scan is ok 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@ShareLove it is such a temptation to test, isn't it? Will you keep testing until OTD?

@tulipsandsnow i feel the urge to test almost hourly just to see if the line is still there! I am limiting the number of tests at home to be able to space it out but also planning to keep testing until the scan. I think it's almost impossible not to.

Hello. Looking for some help from fellow bournhall clients..... it's transfer day, how likely am I to get a call to update me on how the thaw went? I am debating calling in first thing this morning, although transfer isn't until 2.30.... any advise from previous experience? X

@FET2021 you're one day behind me, I'm 7dp5dt today and I haven't tested yet. Not feeling positive at all and too scared to test. I'm just pretty sure it hasn't worked. Feeling really down and had a good cry over the weekend.

Although I'm extremely happy for the ladies with the positives I'm just wishing it was me telling everyone that good news. I can't help feel sad. 😪
Fingers crossed your negative turns to a positive as its still early days.

Also hoping yours does too @ShareLove. You transferred two right? So hopefully at least 1 sticks.

I'm probably going to try and avoid reading everyone's messages for a while as I'm starting to get really anxious 😟 In the build up to my blood test. And also a little more pressure of "it has to work" seeing others positive results. I hope that doesn't sound silly.

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 sorry no experience with Bournhall clincn as I'm not with them. Good luck for your transfer today hun! Hope it all goes smoothly.

@Twinmummy15 I'm feeling really down too. Had another bfn this morning. I'm sure I would at least have a faint positive by now if it had worked. Had good cry yesterday. Considering they say everything else looks great and I just have pco, I can't understand why it keeps failing.

@FET2021 oh no! So you're 6dp5dt right? Don't know how you're doing it! I just can't bring myself to test. I don't want it to be confirmed yet if its failed. I know exactly what you're feeling. Sometimes you wonder why everything went so well, but the embryo just didn't stick around! Why!! Is this your first FET?

Yours could still change. They do say got FET that the frosties implant a little later than a fresh cycle apparently. Keeping everything crossed for you.

When is your official test day. I assume Saturday?

@Twinmummy15 aww love I am so sorry to hear your feeling down I now exactly how you feel though I felt exactly the same on my last round. Was feeling so low and sure it hadn’t worked and although i was sooo incredibly pleased for all the other bfp it made me really long after one of my own. Keep your chin up this process is so incredibly emotionally draining but I just know we are all going to get our happy ending…whenever that may be. 🙏

@FET2021 I am so sorry to hear you have had a BFN I know how gut renching that is to see but you are still really early I have seen so many posters who tested negative up until 11dp5dt hang in there!! ❤️

My test is still negative today 5 dpt but also I’m 9 days away from official test date .
My embryos were little less than a blastocyst so maybe it will take me longer and also they partially survived so they lost some cells when thawed so I’m not feeling positive about all this . I feel like I had half a chance in the first place compared to others . I think they only gave me 25% chance with the 2 embryos that were partially alive . Hopefully they recover and survive still and implant . I’m holding onto hope that I still have 9 days before test date . Xx

@ShareLove awww sorry misread seen you have already tested. But likewise you are still so so early especially if your embryos didn’t reach full blast at transfer yours could take slightly longer to implant then a few days to start releasing HCG! There is always hope!! ❤️❤️

My one embryos was a morula , just before early blast and the other one was cavitating embryo just about to become an embryo but obviously they were also half of what I just stated because they have lost half cells in both .

@ShareLove my official test day is Friday. And that's via blood test. They've told me not to test via HPT. 🤷‍♀️
I think it's more being so anxious that it will be negative and then so disappointing rather than willpower. I'm just too scared to test.

I never tested on my first fresh cycle either, just on the OTD.

My second fresh, I tested at 9dp5dt as that was when my first fresh cycle test was. They seemed to change it to 11dp5dt now. Not really sure why. 😕

I just know I'll be heartbroken 💔 seeing a negative so ant being myself to do it. This time there are also not tests in the house so I can't even be tempted.

I hope you're feeling OK. It must be hard seeing a negative especially when others are seeing positives as early as 5dp5dt.

@FET2021 @ShareLove do you feel like you've lost any symptoms?

I had sore boons from starting the progesterone 5 days before trnasfer, but about 5dp5dt they started to feel lighter and less sore. That's also really got me feeling down. X

@ShareLove unfortunately it didn’t and I was absolutely devasted. And although I was happy to see posters BFPs it just made so sad for myself. So totally understand how @Twinmummy15 is feeling and really not wanting to test. Seeing that stark white test is heartbreaking. I have been TTC for almost 3 years and not even a hint of a line 😭 xxxx

Hey I don’t think iv had any symptoms to begin with so I am not looking out for any . I don’t belive symptoms mean anything as it could be progesterone .

Hello all! congratulations on all the bfps! Such great news and gives one hope that this process can actually work. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you who are still waiting. I can only imagine how stressful it is.

@FET2021 how are you getting along? It's still so early especially if you say your embryos weren't quite fully fledge blasts yet.

I had a bit of a crappy scan this morning. Day 15 and still floundering around at 6.4mm. Only up from 5.8 a week ago so they've upped my meds to 5 pills of day of progynova a day. Next scan on Friday so hoping a praying my uterus get's her damn act together before then.

Any tips on how to improve lining at home!? Steak? Running? I'm doing acupuncture as well but not entirely convinced by it...

@ShareLove that was ny last cycle in august that was negative. I’m now in the middle of a FET cycle so praying for a positive outcome this time 🙏 xxxx

Does everyone else who is in 2 week wait feel like you just know it hasn’t worked ! Specially if you tested early and it was negative ! I tested at 5 dpt and was negative and now I know the rest of the well will be miserable ! I can’t cope knowing if it fails I’ll have to wait couple of months to start all over again . Now that I have seen negative test , I lost a lot of motivation to do anything . I just want to lay on the couch and not move ? I can’t even be bothered to make food or clean up .

@ShareLove I haven't tested but I am right with you, with knowing it just hasn't worked and already worrying about how long it will be before I can start the next cycle.
I'm also one you, I'm kind of giving up and not wanting to do anything. Cook food, clean up, go out and see friends and family etc.
Also just thinking how sad I'll be over Christmas 🎄 😢

@FET2021 , this fertility struggle is just one big headf**k … 😔 and I’m thinking exactly the same , being sad over the Christmas holidays and wishing my life away until I can start my new cycle ASAP . I feel so desperate to get pregnant , my friends , family members , everyone else is getting pregnant , I feel so left out ! Knowing it might never Even happen .

To those who had negative tests so far, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ye. It really is very early so there's still a chance that things will change. I know sometimes it's easier just to accept the negative though and try to plan for the next steps ☹

I'm 5dp5dt today but it feels like this 2ww will never end! Like some of you, I'm too petrified to test so I'm going to wait until OTD on 07dec if I can. I got my period at 11dp5dt last time so I'm praying I at least make it to OTD!
