October FET- Cycle buddies?

I started my stims on Wednesday as the beginning of my long protocol for my FET.

I am looking at end of October for my transfer 🤞🏻

I have PCOS and had ISCI for our treatment.
We have 4 blastocysts frozen!

Looking for any cycle buddies that are transferring around the same time 🙏

Hey everyone. I'm currently 5dp5dt and losing my mind. Congrats to those with BFPs! 🥰

@alexm06 how many dpt are you? My successful FET 2 years ago didn't show until the evening of 8dp5dt and it was extremely faint. Surely there are people later than that to get bfps and it turn out okay.

@Holskey I'm 10d5dt so yeah pretty late on and today Is the day they told me to test. I'm going to test again tomorrow morning but yeah not too positive about it

Hi @Sweet211 I'm not sure about the cycle day to be honest I haven't kept track of that since starting my medication but it is Thursday 28th.. mine is a medicated round so not following my natural cycle.

@Alexm06 got my results back this afternoon and they were negative unfortunately. I'm not pregnant this time. I'm still processing and it's not easy when my 3 year old is trying to have my attention today. Luckily my husband helps a lot. I need to now talk to my doctor on Monday to understand when is the earliest I can have another transfer.

How long in between transfers did you all have? Wonder how strict doctors are with this.

I can understand your not celebrating a faint line this late. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you though because it is still possible Flowers

@Lilipa I’m so sorry Flowers this whole thing is such a mindf* From what I remember at my clinic they were happy for me to go again pretty much straight away (and do a base line scan the following month after my first loss) but me and hubby decided to have a few months off. But it might depend on your clinic and if you’re private/ nhs?

So sorry @lilipa. I hope your clinic are happy for you to try again immediately. It's the first thing I'll be asking if mine doesn't work. The whole ivf thing is just lots of waits one after the other.

@Lilipa it really does suck I'm so sorry.
I have always been allowed to start again on my next cycle so have a month off pretty much. Hopefully they can get you started again soon

I'm really sorry, @Lilipa, that's tough. Flowers When my cycle almost got cancelled last week the doctor said they recommend at least one natural bleed before starting downregulation on the next cycle, so that the body has time to get rid of all the hormones. I hope you won't have to wait too long!

Well that's me out (as I thought I would be) just done a test and it's even fainter so yeah I'm going to say it was a chemcial.

@Lilipa so sorry to hear 💐. I started on my next cycle. I just waited for my bleed and then started on the next period.

So sorry @Lilipa and @Alexm06 - this is such a hard process

I’m only 3dp5dt and the headf*ery is starting. I had really sore breasts before transfer and they barely feel sore at all now, surely it should be the other way round? We’ve been for quite a few walks over the last few days and I’m worried I’ve done too much and scuppered my chances.

I have a cold will it matter I’ve got transfer on Friday and I’m scared it won’t work. I’ve got a bunged up nose I’ve got no cough etc

@Sweet211 don't worry it won't affect at all the implantation. If anything, the cold might worsen because after implantation the body drops its immune system in order to not "kill" the embryo, it being an external invader. This is the process during natural conception as well, not just IVF.

@Sweet211 I’m full of a cold too (with a cough) and I’ve got my transfer on Wednesday. I’m taking lots of hot showers to decongest and having lots of vitamin c rich foods. As far as I know it shouldn’t make a difference to the outcome as long as you don't have a high temperature. At the end of the day women high on smack get pregnant so I’m sure a cold won’t make the slightest difference to implantation

Put a good embryo in a good environment and there's not much you can do to stop it implanting. I hope you and @fetoct2021 feel better soon Flowers

Sorry to hear some of you are feeling poorly - I’m sure the sniffles will have no affect however on the chances of implantation! Best of luck to those transferring this week!

@IVFhadenough good luck in your tww! I’m sending you positive vibes and luck - this thread needs a bit of that recently. I think both you and @Holskey are both in 2ww territory now. Are you guys serial wee on a stick people? Or are you going to wait it out till the test date?

I had my bloods taken today. With both my previous BFPs my HCG has never gone much above 400, and then ended in losses, so I’m super nervous for results tomorrow. But quietly hopeful.

I am a POAS addict. Last time I POAS from 3DPT, which is stupid (and I knew it was stupid) but I just have no way of holding back. This time I am going to try and be a little more reserved but time will tell!

@LemonyT got my bfp yesterday morning. OTD is Friday, but I was doing a natural FET and wanted an idea before AF would have come (today/tomorrow). Early days but I'm grateful. I've congratulated you elsewhere I think (diet thread?) But congrats again! I'll keep my fingers crossed for your test results. I don't have any blood tests coming (and I'm quite glad because I'd only obsess) but I hope yours brings you reassurance.
