October FET- Cycle buddies?

I started my stims on Wednesday as the beginning of my long protocol for my FET.

I am looking at end of October for my transfer 🤞🏻

I have PCOS and had ISCI for our treatment.
We have 4 blastocysts frozen!

Looking for any cycle buddies that are transferring around the same time 🙏

@J2020m bloods are to check prob hormones or to see if I’ve ovulated I’ve got spotting in my urine so don’t know I that’s period but nothing today.

@53rds welcome. wishing you luck on your journey hope it all works out for you. I’ve not started oestrogen as I’m doing a down regulated cycle I’m on the buserelin injection as my cycles are all over the place. I’ve had fet few months ago with out buserelin and it was negative. I’ve only got 1 day 6 embryo left.

@53rds wow that is amazing that you have so many blasts!!! I'm also so happy that you have so many that do not hold the gene- I think it's amazing what Science can do isn't it!!
That's really exciting.. I started my progynova today 😊 have they not given you a preliminary date for your transfer?

@J2020m how long are you on proynova and are you on cyclogest too? I’ve finally had a bleed I’ll find out tommorrow when I will start my pogynova. Hope everyone’s well!

Hi I'm on progynova until my scan on 22nd and then I will add the lubion and cyclogest if everything is fine then, ready for my transfer around 28th 🤞🏻
So glad to hear you've had your bleed!! Hopefully you'll be starting it soon

Good luck today @LemonyT. I still need to figure out the right amount of water to drink. My first one I was too full second wasn't enough and third I was way too full haha

Hey @Alexm06 you too! I’m going to start sipping an hour before. I have an inverted uterus which makes it easier apparently! So don’t need to feel like I’m busting lol

What is more concerned about is that my tummy really hurts from the lubion injections and I know from past experience they push the ultrasound down hard during the process - it’s going to be excruciating!

Oh that's soo annoying hopefully it will be a quick one!
I just had mine made me wait an hour with a full bladder! I was getting more angry with the more uncomfortable I was getting haha now I'm getting my McDonalds fries. Luckily didn't lose any in defrost this time so still have 1 embryo left which is a 4AB so not as good as the other 5 I've had transferred.

@Alexm06 glad to hear it went mostly smoothly! mine went well too :) embryo ‘completely survived’ which is good. My transfer was delayed too by about 30 mins. So by the time of the transfer I needed to see quite bad! Completely forgot about the McDonald’s thing - Curry for me tonight! Best of luck for your test! I’ll keep you posted.

Hi everyone! Scan today went well, already 9mm so booked in for transfer next week. Not looking forward to the pessaries which I’m starting at the weekend!

@53rds I'm glad your scan went well!! I have my scan on 22nd but they have told me my transfer should be 28th. Xx

We seem to have had the transfer the same day. Was it on the 13th of October? How are you feeling? This is my first transfer with IVF. I've become pregnant multiple times naturally but they ended up in miscarriage due to chromosome abnormalities. We've done PGS at the embryos now so we hope our problem is solved. Now I'm worried about ectopic though, because 2 days after the transfer and I'm having moderate period cramps on my back. I am not aware which are signs of ectopic and if say 2 would be too soon to tell?

Hi @Lilipa. Yes me and @Alexm06 had transfers on 13th so today is 5dp5dt. I’ve not had any symptoms. How about you guys? I wouldn’t worry about back cramps - apparently quite common due to the progesterone. I had an ectopic last time and the only symptom I had was continuous spotting. I also have endo and a blocked tube so am more at risk for that kind of thing. Fingers crossed this time round nothing like that happens!

@53rds @J2020m good luck guys - didn’t mean to hijack the thread with those of us who’ve had transfers! Good to hear things are moving forward for you guys- not long now

@J2020 and@53rds my scan is on 23rd to check lining. @J2020m did you down regulate with buserelin you will be day ahead of me my transfer will be same time as yours which clinic you with? If you don’t mind me asking

I couldn't help myself from doing a pregnancy test this morning and I see a very faint line. Today is 5dp5dt.

@Lilipa congrats!!!! I’ve heard the earlier the implantation the better so that’s great! Ooooh maybe I’ll test early too - so tempting!

When did you have your embryo transfer? Was it a blastocyst as well?

Hi @Sweet211 yes! I did start down regulation with buserelin.. I'm still on that daily until my scan this Friday which will hopefully mean I can go to the next stage to transfer.

@LemonyT yeah no I haven't really had any. Not as crampy as I have been on my other transfers not sure if that's good or bad. I am quite tried but I have started a new job last week so it's probably just that and this time I'm on lubion and cyclogest where as the other transfers it's just been cylcloget.

How are you getting on? When have they said your test date is?

@Lilipa same as you- 13 Oct. so I’m 5dp5dt. It was a blastocyst and luckily had fully re-expanded after the defrost. @alex06 other than a bout of hiccups all afternoon, nothing of note. And I don’t think hiccups count as a pregnancy symptom! Official test day is Sunday but I’m v v tempted to do a test early…
