Thanks all for explaining. I think I’ll leave my scan as is and just do it then as I’m afraid to scan early in case it’s not clear what’s going on with my dodgy retroverted uterus.

VenusStarr · 19/11/2021 18:28

Definitely wait a bit longer if you can @Dochas1211 I wish mine had been a bit later. And definitely make sure they put you on a cushion to elevate your pelvis.

My clinic just called, just a courtesy call but I explained how upset we were after last week and she did apologise and said she'd pass on my comments. Either way next week I will send in an email for feedback as well.

seven201 · 19/11/2021 20:25

@Cream123 oh that sounds so scary. Pregnancy after complications is such a worrying time and you had such a bumpy start. Try and get comfy and rest up this weekend. I've just started watching greys anatomy from the start. Sorry you're missing a special weekend.

Thanks everyone. So stressful getting and then staying preg! Honestly don’t know how people just have Sex and then sail through pregnancy!

Yes I’m having a planned section due to previous section for low lying placenta and also my ashermans.

Good luck for scan @VenusStarr glad ur feeling a bit rubbish

Hope ur hanging in there @Gardenlady543 when r U testing?

@seven201 hope ur ok sending hugs ur way

Janefx40 · 20/11/2021 09:27

@Cream123 how are you today? Hope you're alright x

bluepixie · 20/11/2021 10:14

@Janefx40 yeah I’m feeling better thanks. No bleeding again. I hope ur ok?

Janefx40 · 20/11/2021 10:53

@Cream123 oh good. That must be a relief xxx

whatcangowrong · 20/11/2021 15:42

@Cream123 that's good to hear, hope you're ok and not too anxious.

@Gardenlady543 Hows the 2ww going? Hope you're having a relaxing weekend.

@VenusStarr hope you're feeling ok prior to Monday. Thinking of you.

Hope everyone else is good too. I'm having a nervous wait for second hcg result. Apparently I will hear today despite being the weekend but not sure when. Refreshing my email constantly. 😑

Janefx40 · 20/11/2021 17:01

@whatcangowrong fingers crossed for a reassuring result x

whatcangowrong · 20/11/2021 17:11

Thanks @Janefx40 I just got them through and they have gone up x4 which is sort of reassuring I suppose but also seems a bit mad and so obviously I'm googling away furiously. I just don't understand how it can possibly be twins after all our failed transfers, it seems so improbable.

Janefx40 · 20/11/2021 17:56

@whatcangowrong I know we always want things to be as normal as possible but high is much less likely to be a problem than low. Or you're having triplets! I've heard of a few women on here who've had single transfers that split into twins!

Is the next thing the scan?

Xxx

tiggerwhocamefortea · 20/11/2021 18:13

@whatcangowrong
Great hcg results!
Definitely sounds like (at least!) twins in there (I know a friend of a friend of a friend who had triplets after a single frozen transfer - the embryo split and she also conceived naturally at the same time!)

We didn't think it would ever work for us either - 5 miscarriages 2 ruptured ectopics 3 previous failed transfers and PGS testing showed embryos were abnormal - like I said previously i feel like my twins needed each other to stick - if I had done them alone they wouldn't have worked

Gardenlady543 · 21/11/2021 06:52

I have tested at 4dp5dt with a FRER as per usual BFN. I know you guys will say it's early but 2 years, 4 transfers even with euploid embryos and I get nothing but negatives. My microflora should be fine now and if isn't then I'm not sure it will be correctable after 3 different antibiotics and the regime of probiotics, plus the professor doesn't even think my microflora has caused the lack of success.

tiggerwhocamefortea · 21/11/2021 07:01

@Gardenlady543

It still is early I only got a squinter with the twins at 4dp5dt - maybe try this evening with a FRER? Got everything crossed for you x

bluepixie · 21/11/2021 07:48

@Gardenlady543 it’s a bit too early. Until 6dp5dt at least (I would say even 7dp5dt as my son was barely visible that day) let’s keep hoping.

whatcangowrong · 21/11/2021 09:18

Still too early I think @Gardenlady543. I tested on that day with this pregnancy which as we now know has very high hcg and it was only faint and I thought probably the trigger. I also didn't admit to you lot that I tested that early as I know you'd all say it was too early ;-) hang in there.

Euploid is also not a guarantee sadly. A friend of mine just had to do 3 transfers of euploids to get one to stick with no known issues. Even if this one doesn't happen it doesn't mean the next one won't xx

Janefx40 · 21/11/2021 09:31

@Gardenlady543 I'm so sorry you've had to see another negative. I am a big believer that pregnancy CAN show up early on a test (but doesn't always) but 4dt5dt is too early I think. You might get lucky and see a squinter tomorrow if it's positive but also I know a few women who had low Hcg on test day and had successful pregnancies so frustratingly even seeing a negative later at 8dp5dt doesn't mean 100% that it hasn't worked.

Really hope that something good is going on in there and you'll get a better result in a few days time x

VenusStarr · 21/11/2021 10:05

Just to echo the others. It's too early @Gardenlady543 I think this pregnancy may have implanted on 4dp5dt looking back. In natural pregnancies the earliest I had a bfp was 11dpo and that was very faint. Don't count yourself out yet. I know it's disheartening ❤️

seven201 · 22/11/2021 07:50

Where's official test day @Gardenlady543 ?

OP posts:
Gardenlady543 · 22/11/2021 08:29

@seven201 it's Tuesday 30th, so a week tomorrow, this was a hatching blast which the embryologist said had thawed really well and was active and with over 156 hours of progesterone, I would have thought it would have implanted by now. It's 5dp5dt, again a negative FRER this morning.

Dochas1211 · 22/11/2021 08:40

I hope you are ok @Gardenlady543 and hopefully it’s just a late implanter.

@VenusStarr good luck with your scan today. Everything crossed for you.

whatcangowrong · 22/11/2021 08:55

@Gardenlady543 there's no rhyme or reason to all of this unfortunately. I had 5 transfers of (untested admittedly) hatching blasts this year, every time my doctor said what a great embryo and that she had a good feeling, and bfn each time. So bloody frustrating. This time with one early blast and one that barely survived the thaw and was down to 60% of its cells, absolutely no positive vibes from the doctor for the first time ever, and here i am worrying about twins.

BUT... you are testing too early for the moment I think, and that's coming from a serial early tester. I tend to think 6dp is the earliest you would rely on the result, but then I always have a trigger shot to contend with as well.

Hang in there. If it doesn't work there is always next month / January and hope for a more positive transfer experience.

@VenusStarr good luck today xoxo

VenusStarr · 22/11/2021 11:19

It's not good news 💔 the baby died a couple of days after my last scan. I'm booked for surgery on Wednesday 😢 xx

Dochas1211 · 22/11/2021 11:23

I’m so so sorry @VenusStarr I wish there was something useful I could say. 💔 Take care of yourself and your DH Flowers

whatcangowrong · 22/11/2021 11:34

Oh god I am so sorry @VenusStarr, this is just heartbreaking.
