Looks positive to me. I use clear and simple digital. Hoping it’s positive in the morning x

Pinklady81 · 23/11/2022 21:41

I aren't testing anymore done two digitalis last one this morning and was negative

birdbybird · 27/11/2022 13:19

Hey @Woodcottage1 how old are you if you don’t mind me asking?

Woodcottage1 · 27/11/2022 15:20

Hello @birdbybird im 43. I’ve never been naturally pregnant before. I take all the supplements in the ‘starts with an egg’ book. It has to be the oxgyen treatment that helped.

LouScot · 27/11/2022 18:29

@Woodcottage1 when in your cycle did you have the treatments? I'm single and doing IVF with donor sperm but thinking it'd be good to try. My last cycle was cancelled due to poor response and it was also mentioned my lining was thin, and after you mentioned it I've been reading and it might help lining so keen to try. Hope things are well, when is your scan?

@Pinklady81 hope you're okay - did your period come? So cruel it being late x

Pinklady81 · 27/11/2022 18:43

@LouScot no period still I have never been so late !

LouScot · 27/11/2022 19:36

Oh @Pinklady81 I thought you'd say it'd came! Are you staying away from the tests? x

Pinklady81 · 27/11/2022 19:37

Yes I've no symptoms at all other than a missed period I've had Ewcm all the classic signs I ovulated but maybe I didn't I've no idea and it's worrying me that I'm going into menopause now as I googled it arrrgghh

LouScot · 27/11/2022 20:22

@Pinklady81 argh, try not to Google. It's almost certainly not the menopause - you've not had other symptoms have you and you're showing signs of having ovulated? How late are you? x

Pinklady81 · 27/11/2022 20:24

@LouScot I started with Ewcm around day 10 and ovulation pains so thought nothing of it then I started with discharge brownish around 4/5 days later that is unusual for me lasted around 5 days so that was around cd14/15 I presumed this was ovulation etc but never normally have brown discharge ... and now cd38 no period xx

Woodcottage1 · 27/11/2022 21:03

@LouScot I had just one session the day after my trying window. I’ll show you with a picture from my app. Have you got any known conditions like Endromosis (sorry I can’t spell) etc? I have endromosis, polyps (which I had to have removed) and fibroids. I think I’ve got a lot of inflammation from this, and consequently I think the oxygen theory helped firstly to reduce inflammation, improve blood flow and importantly create energy when I needed it. There’s quite a few science papers that say it’s good for lining, I think it makes a lot of sense for lining, it should increase the reach of the capillaries, I’d definitely do these treatments. The only other things I’ve been doing differently other than the oxygen machine, in the last four months is trying out cold water swimming. It’s an instant high after you do it and it’s brilliant at reducing inflation. Are you doing mild ivf Louscot? I’m doing a series of oxygen treatments now, to see if it can help support the pregnancy. Obviously as my sister very unhelpfully pointed out, I’ve got about a 45% chance of this working and I’m fully aware that I’m about to hit the two weeks of crucial time. I’ve got a lot of cramping continually but im just living with hope x
@Pinklady81 im hoping it is another miracle pregnancy for you x

Pinklady81 · 27/11/2022 21:04

@Woodcottage1 I would doubt it I'm over 8 days late and no sign so it's just a waiting game now I have endo and fibroids too and had surgery for this

Woodcottage1 · 27/11/2022 21:18

Please read up on these oxygen treatments, I think it’s had an impact on me. If either of you can come over to Cheshire your welcome to join me in some of the sessions, two people can do them at one time and I’ve already paid for them. I’ve been trying for 8 years, and have never been naturally pregnant. Infertility is horrific, other than for work I didn’t want to leave the house for about 2 years. I even cancelled my 40th birthday meal with friends. Consequently this is why I’m shouting about the oxygen machine and encouraging my friends who are having difficulty getting pregnant to try it. @Pinklady81 it seems we have some similar issues, I’ve been doing cold water swimming to reduce inflammation.
@louscot I had the treatment on the 4th of November the day after my trying window. I didn’t do it for any other reason than being nosey as it’s brand new kit at the gym. When I realised I was pregnant last week I then googled it and found out that it can treat infertility and help implantation. For me to go in when I did was pure chance so I’m feeling very grateful x

Hi guys

Ive not been on here for a while but I was 38 (parter was 43) when I went through my IVF with an AMH of 1.6 (low ovarian reserve) and pretty much being told my chance of getting pregnant was extremely low. I had x3 early miscarriages before we started with the IVF. I actually did get pregnant first time around with my IVF amazingly so just wanted to come on here and be another 'it can actually happen' case and give positive hopes for you all.

We tried for years so know how you're all feeling. I tried everything that I read that could possibly make my body better and you know what, it did nothing. The month of my IVF I did what the hell I wanted because I was fed up with it all by then. I went back to normal tea, stopped taking extra vitamins I'd heard about and it actually worked! Fluke yes but it still worked.

Symptom wise when I was pregnant - I felt 'nothing'. No twinges, no upset stomachs. Just nothing. I tested at 10 days (with cheap ebay test) and the line was feint but there which got darker each day.

I didnt actually believe or come to terms with the fact I was pregnant until he was actually in my arms so in a way it took the happiness of the pregnancy away as I was too afraid I would miscarry yet again.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

LouScot · 28/11/2022 17:20

@Woodcottage1 ahh thanks, I'm near Edinburgh though. There only seems to be 2 places anywhere near that do it, and don't know if either let's you just randomly book a session but I'll investigate.

Hope everyone else doing okay x

Woodcottage1 · 28/11/2022 17:33

Woodcottage1 · 28/11/2022 17:44

Hello! I paid for a scan today on what should be 6 weeks and 4 days and it looks like I’m 6 days behind. Obviously it’s not looking good. My ivf clinic has me booked in on Thursday so I’ll see what they say and if there’s growth.

Lulu106 · 05/12/2022 18:49

@Woodcottage1 hang in there. Apparently this is more common in natural conceptions. Not good if assisted conception. Trust me I spent a lot of time researching it 🙏🏼

Woodcottage1 · 05/12/2022 18:57

Thanks Lulu106 x

LouScot · 05/12/2022 20:45

@Woodcottage1 sorry you had a bit of a downer there, but like Lulu says it might not be the end of things. Hope it's good news on Thursday and that you manage to cope with the wait x

Anxiousbuthopeful · 05/12/2022 21:48

Hi @Woodcottage1 - could it just be that you have your dates wrong? Easy to do in natural conceptions…
