@LouScot I know I'm in utter shock! I've got Prostgerone oessaries which I was supppsed to take after transfer so wondering if I should be doing this too , many thanks I just have never been in this situation before

Oops, plus if you've got a dark line at night that's excellent, it's meant to be stronger with first morning urine x

is anyone doing PGT? Also what are peoples thoughts on growth hormone?

ive got 2 day 3s and 1 day 6 (graded 4bc) and doing another transfer in August. My consultant wants to put 2 back. I seem to be able to fortunately fall pregnant but they don’t stick around. This last transfer and the one before that all stop growing. I was on immune protocol last time as well. So fed up of all of this.

Hi it has for now just more brown when I go to toilet I'm not sure what to believe or do just playing a waiting game my clinic have said they want to scan me next week

Oh @Pinklady81 - how stressful. Happened to me last year but it was just low progesterone. Maybe take your pessaries? Or ask if you can increase dosage? There should be no downside…

This has t happened as a result of treatment this was in between cycles so not sure if the oessaries would help? I'm open to any suggestions how did yours pan out ? Xx

Pessaries might help anyway and shouldn’t have any downside. I ended up miscarrying but quite a lot later for unrelated reasons. The bleeding 🩸 early on was progesterone-related and they switched me from pessaries to injections and it stopped. Call your doctor? Fingers crossed for you @Pinklady81

I've spoke to my clinic and they scan me on Thursday and as I haven't been on any stims I don't know if this would help?

Hi @Pinklady81 as @Anxiousbuthopeful says maybe phone your clinic tonight? If the pessaries won't do any harm it'd be worth asking if you can take them?

I have never used them as haven't got to that stage yet... what are they for?

They are just extra progesterone in case you are not making enough. As far as I know they have no downside. @Pinklady81

@Anxiousbuthopeful @LouScot thank you I contacted my clinic but they have t got back to me yet ... the spotting has eased but still getting very random brown small spots when I wipe . I'm around 5 weeks so very early days and anxious over every twinge etc I never got to this stage last time ..... and keep waking up thinking is this just a dream I'm in

@Pinklady81 glad it's eased, and hopefully your clinic will be in touch tomorrow. Brown spots sound like old blood from the other day? Take care x

@user1479588581 I did pgt for the last round I had a blastocyst and it turned out to be genetically abnormal. I would do it again - given my age (41) the chances of a genetically normal blastocyst are not great and having had two miscarriages already I'd rather not go through that again, but my new clinic prefers to transfer early instead so I'll probably go with their recommendation rather than PGT testing this time....

I went to a baby shower yesterday. I was fine at the time, but feeling soooo blue today. Not helped by having to cancel a trip to Copenhagen next weekend because it conflicts with a scan I have to have at my new clinic and having booked an Airbnb with a no refund policy....doh! Totally my own fault (won't be doing that again!) but still super annoying and such a waste of money. At least we can move the flights!!!

Oh I’m sorry I know the feeling where everywhere you look there are pregnant people. We’ve decided we are going to transfer a max of 5-6 embryos. We already have 2 if not if we’re really lucky 3 in the freezer (that’s if both day 3s grow to blast?!). I’ve transferred one that was the abnormal at 6 weeks so we’ll need to collect potentially 2-3 more. Then our plan is to transfer 2 at a time, so hopefully only max 2-3 more transfers as I have to put a limit on how many miscarriages I’m prepared to go through. We’re sticking with 5-6 as apparently on average 1 out of that number would be genetically normal 🤷‍♀️

Hi all, I have been reading your stories and wanted to join too. I had 2 MCs last year, did a few rounds of super ovulation, which didn’t work, then a round of full IVF earlier this year. We got 3 eggs to blastocyst but then they were graded as abnormal. I now know from reading on here this is quite common, sadly :(.
I want to do a next round whilst also considering using my frozen eggs. We would definitely test any fresh eggs but in 2 kinds about testing the younger ones. Did anyone on here debate the same thing? I was 40 when I had the EC. My partner had had sperm frag/ other tests snd all was fine his side. I have elevated NKC and will be on immune treatment. Thank you snd I wish you all well with this challenging journey

@Pinklady81 I hope you're ok. I had brown bleeding last year which turned into spotting early on too - I think about 6/7 weeks. I had a scan and it was all ok - I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I know how scary it is though. Fingers crossed for you.
