@lucymills1234 I'm so sorry. It's so heartbreaking and the process is so difficult. I really thought ivf was the silver bullet when we started and it was a huge shock to the system to discover that it doesn't always work. I hope you can take some time out to take care of yourself. Sending big hugs

@Pinklady81 good luck on the start of your journey. I haven’t had success yet so not sure I can give any golden tips but lots of water (3l a day) seemed to helped me symptom and bloating wise. Other than that; I tried to keep carbs low to balance hormones, rest and stay chilled and took all the usual vitimins. I also tried acupuncture but not sure how I feel about it!?

I got a good ratio of embryos out of eggs (5 from 7) but the transfer failed. Good luck! 🍀

Update from me, I'm triggering tonight and EC will be on Monday. I will be so glad to have an EC, I absolutely hate this stage of IVF, the stimms seem to impact my sleep (they did last time too) and I am feeling quite uncomfortable. I know from last time I left sooo much better after EC. Roll on Monday!

Hi there. I posted on this thread but have had a bit of a break from thinking about anything but currently on day 2 norethisterone looking at first egg collection around 23-27 this month or thereabouts. Stims start on 14th. Super apprehensive about it all!!!

@LT103 I don't blame you about taking a break from the infertility board. I did the same in between cycles. Good luck with the next cycle!

@LT103 I think we'll be more or less the same timing... currently trying to organise the next few weeks of my work and life around when AF decides to show 🙄 cycle should start 17th March, but I ovulated 2-3 days earlier than usual, so will probably be a bit earlier, I start taking Progynova tomorrow... conceiving in springtime seems nice and right 🤞🏻

I won’t be getting a transfer just now as I’m freeze all due to super high AMH so I’ll need to wait a month or 2 for that part which is a bit frustrating.
My work have been amazing so far, so much more supportive than I ever imagined. I start stims on 14th and they’ve given me the week off starting 21st so there’s no stress around scans/egg collection.

Forgot to update the thread with my progress. 10 eggs were collected on EC, of those 5 fertilised. By day 3, there were 3 embryos.

Transfer day (day 5) a 4aa blast and 1 early blast (couldn't yet be graded but Embryologist said it looked to be good quality) were transferred. Now on the tww.

Hello again! Popping back on this thread as we're getting ready for attempt number 4. Sadly our first donor egg transfer wasn't successful but we've got lots of embryos left and our clinic in Spain is really optimistic.

And I'm still optimistic too (although the last BFN was utterly soul destroying). So much so that I've jacked in my stressful job, and am moving back home with my husband while we focus on this. Good luck to everyone on this thread, I'm rooting for you all. Especially @lucymills1234 and @Bryterlayter1

Iv been avoiding the boards since my BFN too Am starting appointments again this week so can hopefully do an FET on my next cycle.

The clinic have agreed to let me try lubion this time as I bled even before OTD first time round!

@noopsie sorry to hear the last transfer didn't work, I can imagine the it's so upsetting when donor eggs don't work. Best of luck with the next round.

Yes @noopsie good luck on the next round. Do you have a timeline yet? So hard never getting answers to when it doesn’t work isn’t it….. I honestly think that so much is down to luck (sadly!)

@Bryterlayter1 how are you doing in the TWW? Are you nearly at test day yet?? Everything is crossed for you!

@LuckyNovember I agree. Spring does feel like a nice time to get pregnant. Fingers crossed for spring conceptions!!!

I have my baseline scan for an FET on Friday….. although have had some early spotting this week (CD 19/20) so pretty sure AF is on the way….. hope I can still go ahead?!

I'm waiting until the end of March to start the next one. My clinic said we could start straight away with a frozen embryo transfer but im moving back to the UK in a couple of weeks and there's only so much stress I can handle at one time

Fingers crossed it should be fairly straight forward: estrofem daily, and extra progesterone. They also want me to take steroids to see if this hopefully makes a difference.

Had my first scan today since starting stims my first round too so not sure what to expect they said I have 12 follicles in total some very small is this good or average ?? X

@Pinklady81 what CD are you on? Are you doing mild IVF (I thought you mentioned this before- apologies if I missed remembered), in which case 12 follicles is great, you wouldn't expect to have loads of follicles and eggs with a mild protocol.

@Bryterlayter1 yes I'm on a mild cycle half of them are very small they said but starting cetrotide tomorrow and back for a scan on Friday I'm new to not all but the nurse said don't get hung on on numbers
