Oops sorry meant to respond to @Hopeful199 to say, still early days for me 4dp5dt so a while yet to OTD. I learned the hardway that I wouldn't test before OTD, if it is a negative best to have to only see/hear the results once.

@Pinklady81 some of my follicles were slow growers most caught up by EC. Good that they are scanning regularly, that way you get a good amount of updates and a better grasp on how the lovely follicles are developing.

This tww wait is driving me crazy. I'm not hopeful and feel like I just want to know. I made my OH a promise I wouldn't test until the bloods are taken on OTD which is Tuesday. I'm sure I make it but the wait sucks.

So third scan today 10 follicles and 2 are leading the way 15mm others still trailing behind so on day 8 of stims so far the nurse rang said stick with what you are doing will see you Wednesday and then said 1-2 eggs looking likely ...: I don't know whether to cry or is that a good sign?

@Pinklady81 I had similar my last cycle where one was way ahead. Most others caught up by EC. Hopefully there will be good progress on Wednesday.

@Bryterlayter1 thank you they didn't think the smaller ones would My leading ones have grown loads over the weekend though....

@Pinklady81 how did the scan go today?

Positive news at last I have one at 17mm and 26mm and a few behind so looking at egg collection over the weekend. Got to go for another scan tomorrow over in Manchester

@pinklady81 sounds very promising! Hope a few more keep growing to EC.

@Bryterlayter1 I didn't mean 26 I meant 16mm back in the morning again for a scan I'm going every 48 hours for scans work aren't best pleased at the moment !!

@Pinklady81 Ah! Good, I did think not triggering when you had a 26mm seemed odd, but that makes much more sense. Hope the scan went well today!

News from me. I've got a BFP had a beta HCG on Tuesday and then again today and HCG rates are doubling (currently at 260ish). Happy days! Long may they continue.

@Bryterlayter1 woohoo massive congratulations amazing news yes scan went well 2 now at 19mm so scan again tomorrow this really is some appointments I'm having scan every day egg collection over the weekend will know more tomorrow

Huge congratulations @Bryterlayter1 you are giving us all hope. Can you remind us of your story and situation? It would be good to hear of what works. Stepping into our next cycle too and it feels so scary now I know what's coming.

@Lulu106 of course. I'm 41 in a same sex partnership, so using donor sperm. This is my second IVF cycle. I did cycle 1 in August when I was 40, double embryo transfer but a BFN.

This cycle stimmed with Meriofert (300 ui for 7 days, then 375ui for 4 days) had Ovitrell as a trigger. 10 eggs collected, 5 fertilised, resulting in a 4AA blast and an early blast which couldn't yet be graded, both were transferred.

I really didn';t want to do this cycle, I was convinced it would fail, but some how it worked. I honestly think some of this is probably luck. One odd thing, they tested my progesterone the day of transfer and it was bizarrely high (over 300nmol) today the nurse said she had a feeling it might work this time because my lining was soooo thick due to the high progesterone. No idea why it was so high, I was taking 2 cyclogest as most women do, so must have been some odd extra hormone production in my body.

I'm back on stimms, had my CD5 scan today... I didn't get a number of follicles, but it all looked a bit more lively than my first cycle, so I'm optimistic 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 EC should be mid next week...

How was egg collection for everyone I'm starting to panic about it all now it's the cannula bit that frightens me the most

@Pinklady81 I'm no expert, I've only done it once before, but mine was really fine... I was under anesthetic, so obvs the procedure itself didn't hurt! I didn't feel anything after, was just a bit tired the day of, but totally fine afterwards. The doc rang me that afternoon to tell me how many eggs, and the clinic called me the following morning to tell me they fertilised. The transfer was a bit more nerve wracking, but even that was pretty smooth. Good luck!!

I had started the pills for an FET.
I bled before OTD last time so convinced my prof levels are not good. I have asked for lubion this time which they agreed to… fingers crossed it makes the difference!!!

@Hopeful199 I'm doing 3 frozen rounds banking them all and then going on down regs due to endo.... so feels like a very long road but I'm on that road now . I've had a wobble today and can't stop crying

It is not an easy road, but it is great you have started the process. Lots of hope and chances ahead of you!

@Hopeful199 egg collection is worrying me and I think I've had 5 scans this weeks it's been an intense week not knowing whether I would get to this stage
