IVF , do you inject ovaleap injection in thigh or tummy?

Hi just wondering where you inject yours thanks

I'm stressing my self out about these lines . I dont know if they are getting any darker . I'm going to have to start and keep them to compare.

So these tests say from first day of missed period but I don't know when that would be. I last had a bleed at the very beginning of meds.

The clear blue ones digitial are picking it up straight away. Not even the full 3 minutes . They are the sensitive ones that pick up 6 days before missed period.
OTD tomorrow.

I tested positive at 5 am and by 7 am I'm bleeding 💔 .

@Justawannabemam i am so sorry! did you tell the clinic you had a positive and now bleeding? Bleeding could mean so many things as i know some ladies had hematomas, or a polyp had burst etc.

I think maybe it is worth checking to see if you can go in for an early scan just to be sure?

@ShareLove yes, relieved! now the wait for the 12 week scan...! How are you getting on with your patches? hopefully you're not getting any side effects from them, and they keep you on track for end of nov FET!

@ngy21 yehbwheb I rung them this morning it was just a bit of spotting . When I touched my cervix there was blood. Then a few hours later ti's a full bleed now.

I've to ring them back tomorrow with an update I guess if I'm fully bleeding then I won't be going Monday for more meds. I'll see what they say tomorrow, maybe just be a follow up app now I did ask for a scan and she said that they wouldn't because there is nothing what they would be looking for. I will do a digital test on Sunday.

I know it sounds bad but I just want to know if I'm not then I can move on. I've just got another sick note for 2 weeks hopefully I'll be in a better place to go back to work then and maybe know what we can do next. I really don't know how people do back to back cycles its absolutely broke me. 😕 I wont build up my hopes so much next time. Literally nothing had gone wrong up to now .

@Justawannabemam ohhh omg sorry I really am !!! You must be heartbroken !! I know it’s hard it’s very very hard but let’s see what happens in the next few days ! It could be chemical pregnancy … I only think that because of the lightness of the pregnancy test line .. but it might have implanted later and maybe the line will get darker and the bleeding is something else like @ngy21 said ! Let’s hope and pray !!!
I have had 5 early losses myself naturally so I know how hard it is and there is nothing anyone can say or do to take away the pain of losing pregnancy ! Xxx let me know how you get on xx

@ngy21 I am getting on very well with the patches !!! It’s so weird because literally don’t feel any different using the patches , no headache no mood swings nothing which makes me think , are they even working on my body I feel so normal , I’d feel much better if it was tablets or needles as I know they going into my body but with patches I can’t tell ….

I thought chemical too . But then would I bleed without stopping the meds ?
I've never felt so floored before.

My boyfriend is upset. His holding it together for me. He says we can get back on our feet and try again fortunately we don't have to save if we need to pay. I just don't know if I could go through this heart ache again .

I know it sounds silly but I'd planned how I was gonna tell my family . Thinking it would have been near to Christmas. I'd been looking at prams and everything I wont be doing that next time that's for sure

I dont know if I will have to have a break or if they'll let us try again straight away . When instarted down regulating I didnt need to wait for a period to start. They basically took over my cycle and we went from there.

Be amazing if you don’t have to save money for next IVF cycle as it takes away a lot of stress ! Secondly , I know it hurts a lot but it will be so worth it at the end so keep going ! You’ll get your baby one day as long as you try and go for it ! Do you have any kids yet ?

And I have been reading that normally they make you wait few months before doing another cycle to let body get back to normal . When I had my egg collection I had to wait for 2 bleeds before I could start my medicine after 2 period , the waiting is so hard !!!! So I’m guessing it’s maybe the same when you lose a pregnancy ? And I know exactly what you mean by looking at prams for baby ect , I did the same but the last few pregnancy I didn’t bother and I’m glad I didn’t as they didn’t end up well anyways . I will only do that once I hit 12 weeks next time ! Xxx

I'm am 40 . So we started this a good couple of years ago then covid hit waited months for apps then they got cancelled. Eventually my gynacologist referred me without seeing my for my last app.
Then we found OH has low sperm . Not massively low but low against statistics.
We then only got 6 eggs. So his sperm didn't really matter then cos we knew it worked. Main thing!.

We had 4 mature enough. 2 fertilised . They were both got to day 5 and were graded 3BB . Which was good 👍 we put both back in as per the recommendation from the clinic . We were happy to do that .
We did get told that we would possibly only qualify for 1 cycle . However they wouldn't rule out another bc of the covid crisis. That was why we waited so long.

Me and my boyfriend chatted about if this happened. And maybe if I had more eggs we would try again . And hopefully get more. But then they could be the same quality. So we said maybe about an embryo doner . The now were thinking maybe an egg doner and use his sperm. Obviously will take the advice of clinic, age is a big factor for us we don't really feel like we have months to spare and wait for periods .

We don't have any kids .

What about yourself . Do you have any already? . (Sorry if you have said) my heads a bit all over the place.

So sorry you are going through this - i think its good to have an open mind and keep options available. Is this your first cycle IVF with own eggs and sperm?

@ShareLove i know what you mean! it's like you don't feel like you're doing anything towards the process, but the body works in many magical ways! Makes me so interested in the human body/biology, i keep thinking down the line i wouldn't mind doing a midwifery course and taking a different route in my career cause all of this is so interesting

@ngy21 I was planning to go over Monday for meds so if they'll check that would be great . But im not sure. They've not rung me back yet I've got a long list of questions . I'm gonna do a digital on Sunday and if it's negative there may not be any need for me to drive 2.5 hours over .

The heart break is unreal. I'm coming to terms with it now. The ladies at the clinic are so lovely they make me cry . I think I need to watch a sad movie and get it out of my system..

@Justawannabemam ahhhh that’s not good news is it !! it seems like it was chemical after all of because it was light positive before ! I wouldn’t bother going for bloods now ( unless you just want to ) , I’d just wait it out and see what happens ! I’m so sorry you have to go through this crap time

@Justawannabemam I’m sure the lines would be much darker if it was still a viable pregnancy , I’m sorry to make you even more sad but sometimes truth hurts and it’s better to be prepared to accept it than to hope for different outcome and be even more disappointed xxx

@Justawannabemam so sorry to hear! I agree with @ShareLove, no poit in doing bloods now esp if you have to make the 2 hour trip there. If you were still getting positive tests no matter how light then yea, i would say go for the test.

I hope you're feeling ok and we are here if you need to chat! I am sure if you do decide to go through IVF again with your own eggs and sperm, they may change up the meds. They now know how your body will respond so should better manage everything.

She has had a good chat with me . They've done the bloods so I should know in about 2 hours.

Gutting news got to wait 4 to 6 weeks just for a follow up. And the next cycle wouldn't be until April 22 . FKN APRIL !!!! I really don't know how I feel about that well actually I do .

@Justawannabemam omg !!! Ohhhh I feel your pain waiting like 6 months for a new cycle while you desperately want to be pregnant feels like a nightmare come true ! I hope I never have to wait that long ! I would go crazy ! Mental health goes downhill for me every time I have delays ! It’s soo hard ! Can I ask why would the next cycle be in April and not earlier ? It’s like 6 months away , so long !! Xx

@Justawannabemam those are ridiculously long wait times! Did she explain why the process is going to take so long? are you going private? would it be worth changing to a different clinic? It's gonna be longer drives as i know you said this clinic was the closest and 2 hours, but maybe worth driving a bit further and not having to wait 6 months!!!!

So she just rung and the bloods were completely negative.

We have a follow up on 3rd December to see whats happens . They are going to put our case to a board for nhs funded. And we should know that before the 3rd.

Re waiting times. That's just how they are. They have halfed their clinic schedules bc of covid so they were doing 15 a week and now they are down to 6 . They can only have 2 patients in the waiting bay instead of 3 . Hopefully by February they are looking to increase so fingers crossed we can get seen before April.

I asked about other clinics, basically they are all over stretched. The other nearest one is 3 and half hours possibly 4 . So we don't really want to have to do that. Plus I like all these guys. They are so nice. They say any cancellations and I will move up the list .

So in the mean time what is clomid? I've seen it mentioned ? Is it worth me getting some of this . And any suggestions for my partners low sperm issue.? Vitamins ? Medication etc.

Worth it before I invest in 6 n half grand !! .

I am so sorry you are going through this - let's hope 3rd Dec comes round sooner.

I guess if you feel most comfortable with your clinic, then it is the right choice to stay! Esp if they have got all your records and understand how your body reacts to meds. Hopefully there will be cancellations so it can reduce your waiting time!

In regards to clomid, i always thought it was like a stimulation drug? So increasing the amount of FSH to mature your eggs. You would need to get monitored on this though as I have seen people go through an IUI cycle on clomid, but cycles can get cancelled if too many follicles are dominant (risk of multiple pregnancies).

I am unsure if this will help if your husband has low sperm count. Maybe worth getting a private consult in with a doc if you could? I have seen clomid recommended for people who have PCOS/don't ovulate as often as they should.

Hope this gives you more of an idea! This is only from my own research though so again i'd advise speaking to a professional!

I stopped my pessaries yesterday, finally! I am a bit nervous as now everything is dependant on my own body, but glad at the same time cause now it should be no more mess!

Have my NHS scan booked in for the end of the month as well, so i guess nothing exciting for me until then.

Hopefully @ShareLove will have had her transfer by then as well :)

My trasfer is almost only 2 weeks away ! 22 nd of nov ! Hopefully all is ok !! I am going to Birmingham for the weekend in a hotel , go and see some family 2 and half hour drive can’t belive your so far already @ngy21 , your scan date will come soon don’t worry ! Main thing is that you saw that you baby was all okay before so you can relax !! 😍
