Hi all, I had a search and didn't see a thread for September/October. If there is one already please let me know and I'll join. I'll be starting stims at the end of September/early October with the Lister. I'm pretty terrified tbh, would be happy to hear from anyone else starting around the same time. I'm a first-timer and we'll be having ICSI (possibly IMSI).

@Sarah2328 I hope so! Do you think it gets stronger every day or every other day even better? I don't want to get disappointed if I do another one tomorrow and it's not stronger

@Lilipa they say your hcg double every couple of days, so I would do one Wednesday xx

@Lilipa I can definitely see it congratulations. Gosh I'm only 2 days in its gonna be a long 2 weeks

Have you had any symptoms ? Any spotting or bleeds ?

@Justawannabemam this will be my 5th pregnancy (one full term baby -now a 3 year old and 3 miscarriages after that) and I've always had the same symptoms. A bit of stomach sickness throughout the day and a desire to eat egg yolks! Hahaha I know it's strange but I've had exactly the same thing. So when I wanted to eat egg yolks last night I thought I'd do a test today. This is 5 days past my blastocyst transfer by the way (transfer was on the 13th)

Yes, OTD today - the second line came up in about 5 seconds at 5am when I couldn't wait any longer to test and I just burst into tears!

@Csparkles ahhhhh delighted for you. Congratulations!!! How do you feel?

@bobtat really excited as it's my first ever BFP and hoping and praying that it sticks. I have been having on and off cramping since Sunday but did not have any cramps in the days just after transfer. Hoping that it's not a negative sign..

@Csparkles ahh another BFP . Excellent news.

I've had no cramps either . (Transfer on Saturday just gone ) . And no spotting. No other symptoms.

I'm not going for Beta because of the shortage in blood bottles. 🙄 are you to go for bloods ?

@Csparkles that is extra special and amazing. Well done you. I've been cramping on and off too. Quite strong today. I had that with both my other pregnancies though so not too worried.

@Justawannabemam thank you.. no bloods for me. I don't think my clinic does blood tests. It will just be the viability scan I guess. Good luck to you for test day😊

Did a pregnancy test this morning but I don't think I can really go on that. I had a HGC booster shot last Friday, so I guess the positive result is due to that. My blood test is tomorrow and then again on Friday. If the result is negative, we'll also discuss next steps then...

Which tests are everyone using for testing ? I've got one from the unit but I'll like a few more as confirmation .

@Justawannabemam I've got some cheap early pregnancy ones from Amazon but usually use the ClearBlue ones with the weeks indicator. (It tells me quite quickly whether I need to worry about the pregnancy being ectopic. Mine never go beyond 2-3 weeks in that case. DS went to 3+ and was fine.)

@Justawannabemam I'm using Early First Response. The one that gives you a result 6 days before your missed period.

@Dizzyhedgehog do you usually test out the trigger? fingers crossed for your blood tests. Hopefully you will have good news.

@Justawannabemam I took a first response early result one this morning. I used clear blue digital with my first and that worked fine too. I've heard that the digital ones are quite a bit less sensitive so won't show as early as they need a higher HCG concentration to work. Will probably do a clinic one tomorrow morn just to confirm.

@Bobtat No, this was our first round. It also wasn't wasn't trigger. I got an additional booster three days after my transfer.
My trigger shot was with Ovitrelle just before egg collection. This one was a shot of Brevactid on the same day as my ultrasound checkup to see whether my ovaries were OK after all that stress. 🙂

@Dizzyhedgehog ahhh interesting. I didn't know they did boosters.
