Hi all, I had a search and didn't see a thread for September/October. If there is one already please let me know and I'll join. I'll be starting stims at the end of September/early October with the Lister. I'm pretty terrified tbh, would be happy to hear from anyone else starting around the same time. I'm a first-timer and we'll be having ICSI (possibly IMSI).

Congrats @Sarah2328! Will you have a hug blood test? I haven’t got my results back yet- probably tomorrow!

@Bobtat all was good (apart from having to wait an hour with a full bladder) didn't lose any in defrost so 2 went in and still have the 1 left. Test date is the 23rd which is a day sooner then they normally say. How you getting on?

@Alexm06 that's great news - 2 on board is exciting! Good you won't have to wait quite as long. I'm ok thanks. Pretty tired and bloated but halfway through (hooray!)

Can anyone tell me how long does the transfer take ? I know about the bladder. Is it the same at retrieval no perfumed products etc. ?

Everything seems so slow still for me. Baseline scan booked for next Wednesday.

@Justawannabemam you are literally in there 5 mins and it's over, does not hurt either, feels like your having a a smear test. You go in they make you gown up over your clothes, hair net and shoe protectors. Your naked from the bottom down with a sheet across you and your legs in strips, you will then see the screen and you will watch the embryo be placed into your womb.

Just have a full bladder as it's earlier for them to see where they are placing the embryo into the womb xx

@BuffyFanForever no my clinic don't do blood results, I have my scan booked in for the 4/11 I assume they will go from there x

I'm tempted to ring tomorrow and see how they are getting along . I've not heard from them so I should assume everything is fine.

@Bobtat i had my scan today, my lining was fine and ready for transfer however they have found fluid in my uterus cavity, if thefluid has not gone by Saturday they will cancel my cycle. just really upset and fed up of all the issues, it a new one each time. :(

@Aim2912 oh that is so stressful you poor thing - no wonder you are upset. Do they know why it's there? Is it just supposed to drain naturally?It's great news that the lining is looking good - really hope the fluid clears up for you. Try to take it easy and give yourself a bit of a break. This is a really hard process.

@Alexm06 Since late last night I'm having moderate period back cramps. I was quite active yesterday because I have a toddler and I'm worried something has gone wrong. How are you feeling?
