Trying not to read too much into any twinges or aches, just trying to chill. Test day is Tuesday, so 11 days after 5 day old frozen embryo

Hi guys! Thank you for thinking about me!
Sorry, battery died and I fell asleep straight :) they were 35 min late, so all I could think about was needing to pee, I swear 😂
So, womb lining was great and we had a good quality 5AB embryo to put in! They were very hopeful as everything looked godo and it ed fully hatched. I had a very full bladder that they compliment, as it made it easy to visualise.
Embryo looked like a spaceship when it left the caterer, it was super cool and shame partner lost it. They gave me a pic of it and it is very visible!I even forgot for a moment the discomfort and the fact that I was about to pee myself!
They don’t know about the other embryos for sure, they told me they’ll call Tomo as there are 2-3 that look like they are progressing well and we hope at least 1-2 would make it to freeze.🤞🏽
Pray for this embryo to stick! ❤️🤞🏽I am now on pomegranate as it was a religion 😂

Testing day is 21/7, so now the long wait game starts! They told me that day I would be 4 weeks if POAS is positive. I read on the paper the gave me today, if positive, they scan you after 6-7 weeks from Embryo transfer. I wonder why so long, knowing myself I would hold my breath until then! For now, c'mon little guy!

@morganablue yay so glad it went well. Amazing news!!! You’ll be testing the day after me.
They do the scan at 7ish weeks as there should be a heartbeat 💗 by then x

@morganablue congratulations on being PUPO! That's right, you'll be 4 weeks if it's a bfp and the viability scan will be a few weeks later. Mines on Monday and then I graduate out of the acu if all is well! Good luck in your tww and for your embryos tomorrow.

@becarefuloutthere what happens next? I mean who is monitoring the pregnancy after this scan - is it the GP or the hospital that you choose for giving birth?

@HereToLearnAndShare it'll be the hospital. I self referred a few weeks ago and got a booking appointment date with the midwife which I had last week and I got a letter through with my 12 wk scan date. I also told my GP so it was on my records. Just have to hope that we see a heartbeat tomorrow and then that's it with guys hospital!

@becarefuloutthere hope tomorrow you'll have all the reassurance, so exciting but I can totally understand how one is super anxious until that moment.
Our of curiosity, what grading was your little guy? And was it a fresh cycle? Did you have any to freeze?
I am waiting from embryologist call to understand what happened to my embryos. It would be so unlucky to have none to freeze, with 10 eggs originally fertilised. But I cannot help to think they would have know yesterday if there was for certain.
Maybe it's me being negative 🤷🏻‍♀️

Actually very upset, just got a call, not from the embryologist, but from a nurse to ask me to run there because they just realised that our blood test taken in March, were now out of date. She ended up telling me frantically that we have one embryo to freeze, which cannot be frozen until we get those blood test snd those results.
I am now very upset (hormones do not help) as I did not want to rush after embryo transfer, on that day of England game full of people on the street and do 1 hour of public transfer. Also I am upset that out 2-3 embryos only 1 made it and I am not sure of the quality or anything as embryologist has not contacted me yet. Also this is an admin job, they could have checked my paper yesterday that I was there instead of calling me in in a panic. Also, is this going to damage the embryo that needs freezing? So upsetting 😔

@morganablue thank you 🙏🏾 it was 5aa and hatching. I saw yours was 5ab and also hatching so it's very promising! Yep fresh cycle, first go. They froze 3 on day 5 but we had none left by day 6, started with 8 fertilised. Hopefully you'll have a few to freeze, they should be calling soon. Think my call was around 1130. Best of luck 🤞🏾

@morganablue oh so sorry to hear that, what a mess! If you don't hear from the embryologist en route then ask to speak to one when you get there. I'm so sorry they're putting you through this, very unfair! Xx

@becarefuloutthere aw thank you for replying. Feeling a bit better now after getting home. Had to rush there in tears, as I was so stressed. They had to try both arms for blood as they could not get it the first time.
Still very grateful we had a good/excellent embryo to transfer yesterday and this little guy is a 4BB which is also good.
At the end we had a face to face with embryologist and asked millions of questions, which at least was good. She was a bit annoyed too that they called us in a rush and just mentioning the 1 embryo without any particular care in understanding none has given us an embryo update that day. Turns out they froze it straight away and they just needed blood to cover their admin side....I was a bit furious for the silly stress they put me in (and having to travel all the way From Norbury/Thornton Heath). 4BB is a good quality and I wish I could have just had news broken to me in a better manner.
Now sipping the M&S revilitise Juice and sitting on the sofa waiting tot the football! (Italian-English couple here).

@morganablue awesome, crossing all my fingers for you! Hopefully flies by. That situation today sounds sooo frustrating, the admin/comms side of the ACU is certainly in need of improvement. They asked for me to make sure I bring my partner to my baseline scan so that we can both have new blood tests so at least this nurse was organised. Congrats on the good one frozen also. Good you got some clarity and kindness from the embryologist - there's such a contrast between the medical and administrative staff really.

Keep sipping that juice and enjoy the match! We are the same - my boyfriend is English and I am Italian/Aussie so I had to promise I wouldn't wear my Italy shirt to the pub tonight haha.

I work in a v small school, we are one bubble. A pupil has tested positive so now I’m super paranoid about being at work 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Staff and pupils are being asked if they were in close contact with the pupil, and if not they are coming in. I wasn’t at work unfortunately so I need to be here! Could do without worrying about getting Covid..
