So ladies....the plot thickens. Obviously this is super good news but why was I being told something completely different on Friday? Makes me even more annoyed that they upset me so much for (seemingly) no reason 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Etonmess20 how bloody annoying but good the update has changed for the better. It really is luck of the draw with who you speak to it seems. I'm pleased you'll be called soon! Probably good to highlight the discrepancy in info when you reply and the unnecessary upset it caused.

So had the scan and all is looking good! Measuring how it should and saw the flickering heartbeat 💓

@Etonmess20 haha no gloating, everyone in the pub looked so miserable I only managed a half smile. Hope you're not all feeling too disappointed today! On the email, that is amazing news and plot definitely thickens!! So amazing we will be able to start next month then, makes me soo much happier about mine and @HereToLearnAndShare 'sif you get to start also. Funny what a complaint can do. Congrats xx

@Etonmess20 weirdly it wasn't too emotional, I think I'm still being really guarded until I get to 12 weeks! It was lovely to see though.

@Vparisi thank you!! I'm so pleased, I'm really hoping they can get me in for August tbh but we'll see 🙏🏼 worst case, even if it is September (both my cycles are due to start first week in the month) then least I know when it is if that makes sense - it's the stress of not knowing isn't it?
You really shouldn't have to complain should you but at least the outcome seems to have been good!

@EmJay19 thank you, I'll be so glad when it's all scheduled in but at least I now have a definite timescale for a call to go back at them with if it doesn't happen!

When I sent mine the head of the ACU called me in a panic and I had a long conversation with him that I was so angry and sad that you have to complain to get anywhere and it shouldn’t be like that. But yay for progress, can’t wait till you get your call!

@morganablue that’s so bad that they made you rush back. Glad you’re all settled now. Can I ask which blood test it was? I am concerned they’ve never taken my blood once since going through this whole process!

My latest panic is that my acupuncturist is going to be away for my transfer. Anyone know anyone that’s good locally to Guys or SE London?

@GJW2018 can't thank you enough for the email address because it definitely seems to have had the desired effect!! You're so right though - you really shouldn't have to complain to get somewhere. What they told me today was completely different to what I was told Friday so does make you wonder what's right & how they can all of a sudden call me this week when I was told it would not be for a month 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Etonmess20 haha not great, but not having headaches anymore. Probably good for me honestly! But my work is saying now cos of the 19th July that we have to all come back in 3 days a week, which I am really not looking forward to. One, because I just love working from home and two because I don't want to get on busy tubes over next couple of weeks and get my treatment cancelled..

You won't believe it. I just missed a call from the ACU saying they need my period dates to schedule my treatment even though I already have it booked in for August and am receiving my drugs today.....honestly this place.....

@Vparisi are you literally having none whatsoever now? Hats off to you if so! I have reduced mine down to 2 coffees a day, if I have another during the day I'll have a decaf but does make me think maybe I should cut it out completely.

@Vparisi btw that's really rubbish about your work wanting you to come back in. Do you have a long commute?
I assume the ACU also haven't said if their stance on no partners is changing ahead of the relaxations next week? I may ask when they call me if so

@Vparisi so another proof of their great internal communication 😅 did you contact the delivery company yourself? I havent heart from them yet

@Etonmess20 actually not sure if it is even necessary, all the actual research I read has only found an impact after 4 a day so honestly I think think I will definitely go back to 1 or 2, particularly if commutes are back! Adds so much extra wasted time to the day. It is only 20 mins for me which I know is not long but it is just the added time of everything you know..

On the partners thing, they told me partners have to be at baseline scan for blood test as there needs to be one less than 2 months old. I was thinking watching the football that it is totally ridiculous we have to watch these crowds then get told no partners! Surely they can't keep that rule in place after the 19 July but bet they will.

And yep @HereToLearnAndShare another example all right. The delivery company actually called me Friday morning (got my ACU call Thurs afternoon) to schedule for today. So if you haven't heard from them I would def call them. Hopefully I am actually scheduled for treatment since I have apparently reached the top of the list again! I bet they did mean to call you @Etonmess20 . I tried to call back but they were busy so hopefully will get a call this arvo to sort it out (and finally sort out the unknown reason they are giving me a freeze all...)
