@HereToLearnAndShare she said it's the gynecology dept so she's unsure of times but it may not be that long as mine is investigating rather than treatment so they may be able to fit me in quickly - i've got 8 weeks in my head as that tends to be standard waiting list times 🤣

@GJW2018 @Welshpea thank you SO much, I honestly haven't stopped crying all morning. Between every present I stopped to have a cry like "I just can't believe it" because genuinely I'd have put money on it not having worked.

I'm going to get a digital test & some pregnancy vitamins while we're out in London today. We also go on holiday on Wednesday so need to get onto Guys ASAP as I need more pessaries to take away with me 😬 hopefully they can get it sorted quickly

@Etonmess20 yay congratulations 🥳 I knew it would be a bfp!! Guys are very quick with the pessaries, you'll get them within two days, eek what a fantastic birthday present! Have a wonderful memorable day 😘

Got a 2-3 weeks on a clear blue digital this morning, currently 12dp5dt & 4w3d so thats put my mind at rest that I didn't just imagine it yesterday! Also spoke to Guys & I have some pessaries coming tomorrow & a scan booked for 27th ☺️

@Etonmess20 sooo happy for you once again, must feel so amazing after all these years. Is DP over the moon? And your holiday this Wednesday, so exciting! Are you going to tell any family or anything yet? Just saw your other message. Yes getting super impatient for FET. We will be at a wedding in France when I start my period on the 22nd so just need to see if it is okay to travel with the meds or if I need a letter. Went to a hens do yesterday and the ladies were asking everyone about if everyone is wanting to have kids and when they are planning on doing it, and they were all saying it just seems like a lot of effort to start etc. Kinda had to sit in silence for a while awkwardly...so yes looking forward to the cycle so I at least feel I am hopefully getting closer to the end goal.

@Welshpea good to see you back!! Sorry to hear you are on yet another waiting list.....I swear infertility is like 90% just waiting haha. Crazy we have gotten to 1000 so quickly!

@Vparisi thank you, it all just feels surreal! We literally sobbed all yesterday morning & then spent all day just smiling at eachother. Could still cry now thinking about it! & holiday Wednesday too which should make the wait until our scan go significantly quicker too!
We've told our close friends who knew about the IVF as they knew we were testing. Think we'll tell family after our scan I think - that's the plan anyway!
Oh I didn't even think about that, I've got the pessaries to take with me but I assume they'll be ok 😬 when I spoke to the nurse I said I was going away (abroad) & she never said she'd need to do a letter or anything so I guess it's fine 🤷🏼‍♀️
Me & DP were talking about this yesterday but don't you find this whole infertility situation makes you realise just how much you don't know about other peoples situations & why these types of conversations are an awful idea. I can imagine it was horrendous to sit there & listen to it & I really do wish people would be more mindful about other peoples possible struggles. It's not malicious is it, more thoughtless but that doesn't make it better. Sending lots of lot & hoping very much that it's your turn soon ❤️

@becarefuloutthere how are you lovely? You must be on your way to 20 weeks now! Just a quick one, did you phase out the medication or just stop cold turkey and when. I’m a bit scared to stop them although I won’t miss the pessaries! Xx

@GJW2018 I'm 16 weeks today and going for a private scan tomorrow to find out the sex! (But mainly for reassurance as I still freak out 😬) I stopped the pessaries the morning of my 8 week scan, she said I could take the evening one if i really wanted to and I didn't so I didn't 😆
They should advise you when to stop, you've not had your viability scan yet right?
@Etonmess20 have a great hol tomorrow! We got bk from Santorini a couple of weeks ago and it was very needed.

@becarefuloutthere oh wow how exciting! Let us know! I had a 5AA embryo and apparently they’re more likely to be boys so will be interesting to see if that’s true. Oh don’t, my anxiety has been at an all time high, I’m averaging a scan a week at the minute. Had my viability scan and got signed off from guys two weeks ago she just said to stop between 10-12 weeks but wasn’t sure whether to phase them out or just stop cold turkey. Good to hear you just stopped them and all ok I’m scared but looking forward to it! Good luck for tomorrow! 💖💙

@Etonmess20 omg that makes me so happy, that is just so lovely. Just so so happy for you. Yeah for sure, it's not from bad intentions but just cluelessness isn't it. It's so important when speaking to anyone to try and be mindful or what you're saying isn't it. Hope you have the best time on holiday!! Wooo.

@becarefuloutthere wow can't believe 16 weeks is here! Good luck. Although on this forum I think we all probably appreciate just having a healthy baby on board rather than worrying about the sex too much don't we

@GJW2018 yeah have heard that too so have had in my head boy the whole time. Will be pleasantly surprised if they say girl tonight!
