Had a call from the embryologist this morning & 2 have made it to the freezer with another one having a final watch & pretty sure to be frozen later today, but they'll be calling tomorrow to confirm!

@Vparisi think it sounds like you've made the right decision delaying your FET if you're going to feel more comfortable talking to the doctor first. Least you'll be top of the list for next month if you decide to go ahead following your appointment.

Thank you all for the wishes! Just got the call - we have 12 fertilized 🥳 and now we wait till day 6 for the update. She said they wxpect 4-6 of them to survive day 6, which is good. So now I am thinking about this 12 guys and I am sending them strength 🙏 I am trying not to get too excited as I know there is still a risk, but I am happy with the outcome so far!

@Vparisi sounds as a wise decision to wait until the constitution. If there is something you can work on before the transfer then deffo worth trying!

Thanks @becarefuloutthere! I filled out a self referral form and they said you receive a letter after two weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think you’re in SE aren’t you, I really can’t decide which hospital as I’ve heard bad stories about most.

@GJW2018 once you choose the hospital when you are supposed to habe the next scan? Did you already do the combined tests or its should be done with the new hospital? I know you can do them in the 10-14 week but not sure if its done by default or you have to request them

@HereToLearnAndShare once you have your 7/8 week scan with Guys they discharge you and tell you to contact your local antenatal and register with them. For mine it’s just an online form then supposedly you get a letter with a date for 12 week scan. The lady at Guys did mention about them (my local team) doing testing at around 10 weeks but there wasn’t any information about it. I think we’re probably going to get it done with the private clinic if the NHS don’t do it. Maybe I’ll call my local antenatal and ask xx

@GJW2018 ah I see. I dint realize NHS are doing these tests. Once you find out pls share what the price is.

@GJW2018 yeah I am. Queen Elizabeth is nearest to me so went with them. Been ok so far, service is typical nhs but nothing really bad. I'm moving soon so will be re registering in Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire next month.
@HereToLearnAndShare I didn't do combine tests. Just once discharged I registered at QE and got a letter through for my 12 week scan. At that scan they book you in for your next. Before the scan I had a booking appointment with the midwife, that was just before my viability scan at guys actually as I was so eager to get registered! I did it about week after getting my bfp, I couldn't stop myself 😂

@HereToLearnAndShare yeah, the 3rd one didn't make it so just the two frostie ones for us. I'm a bit crampy tonight so hopefully that's not a bad thing 😬

@Etonmess20 thats still a great outcome! Cannot believe your OTD is next week! It feels it was yesterday when we started the stimms.
I am doing ok. A bit nervous about the embryos. The embryologist said they expect 4-6 of them to survive, so I am trying to ignore the negative thoughts in my head 🙄 we are going to Edinburgh for the long weekend so hopefully that will distract me

@HereToLearnAndShare I keep telling myself that, need to stay positive!! Hoping for the best outcome for your embryos too! When are they next letting you know how they're doing?
Crazy that it's next week isn't it? It'll come round so quickly, it's already gone so fast since starting stims. Hopefully it'll be a nice birthday surprise for me!
Edinburgh will be lovely, we went early July & it was beautiful. We've just booked to go to the canaries on the 8th so also got that to count down to 🙏🏼

Sorry I was taking a break from this group during my tww while dealing with nausea and headaches since last few days.

By the way I tested myself this morning 9dp5dt and I got my BFP

@GJW2018 - how are you doing and hows your lil baby doing? You must be 8+ weeks now.

I think GUYS won't see me before 7 weeks. I'm getting slightly nervous and wondering if there is a way I can check for blood hcg & progestone/estrogen to make sure they are now on the lower side

I am still taking the vaginal pessaries and most of the time it seems to come off so not sure if I should look at injections just to be on the safe side

@GJW2018 - I remember you were seeing a clinic privately, is that based in London itself?

@Rj1988 you're making me nervous for OTD 😬 was today your first test?
I'm determined not to test until OTD!

@Etonmess20 - my OTD is 1st September but I have to see a dentist urgently so decided to test early. Plus I've been getting nausea since 6dp5dt

Today is my 9dp5dt which is also 15 days past ovulation so chances of getting a results were high

Woohoo @Rj1988! Congratulations! This is so exciting!
We’ve been getting add-on treatment with the fertility and gynaecology academy in wimpole street. They were able to get me HCG and progesterone tests as well as early scans. They’re not the most organised but they do the job! They tested my HCG at 10dp5dt and 12dp5dt to see that it was the right level and then again to see that it had doubled. They tested my progesterone also and put me on the oil injections (which are a killer) as it was quite low. They tested my progesterone on my transfer day and it was low and added a Lubion injection on top of the pessaries but it made no difference so onto the oil I went.
Yes I’m 8 weeks today! The nausea has not been fun and I’ve barely been eating because of it which is a bit worrying and I’ve had really sore boobs that just stopped hurting all of a sudden on Friday and haven’t hurt since which has sent me into a head spin. The stress doesn’t stop!

I had a very light positive this morning and now it's almost like as if the line has disappeared... so feeling quiet anxious and hope the hcg doubles up but it would be good to get myself tested..

Do you know if they have a package or you have to pay them for each tests individually? And how much have you spend till yet?

@Rj1988 I was already registered with them as I had immune treatment but usually I’d just pop in there get a blood test form and pay for it and then the blood test place is a few doors down on the same street. You might need to register and then do it? I’m not sure if they’re open tomorrow as it’s bank holiday but give them a call first thing Tuesday and see if you can just get a HCG and progesterone blood test form from them. If they’re no good there are loads of clinics around there. The place where I get the blood tests is called the doctors laboratory but I think you have to be registered with a clinic to get the form. I would say try not to keep testing as the concentration in your urine will be different at different times. The first morning wee will give you the best indication. It will get lighter in the day as the HCG isn’t as concentrated during the day xxx
