This is a continuation from IVF at Guy's & St. Thomas' & general process/timeline discussion

@HereToLearnAndShare so one attachment was a treatment plan (like a big spreadsheet with different steps of the treatment on) it,then the form I've put on my last message (seems to be related to anaesthetic so assume for EC), a copy of the counselling services leaflet & then another leaflet about covid

Mine is slightly different and they dont mention anything about a form, so assume they will ask us to fill them there.

@HereToLearnAndShare maybe it's because of the freeze all so they won't actually need that form from you yet?

@Etonmess20 Time has literally stopped! Cramping has stopped and i'm feeling normal with no symptoms. I'm sort of in the thinking it hasn't worked phase of the 2ww - im sure il snap out of it when we get into the weekend and there's only a few more days to go!

The form you got sent - for egg collection sedation day patient thing - i got that on my baseline scan and got asked to bring back completed to egg collection . They never asked for it! and when i queried the nurse wasn't bothered at all and i ended up coming home with it!

hey @Etonmess20 @HereToLearnAndShare @Welshpea I emailed about the form and she said no you should get that at your appt and no need for emails confirming etc. So who knows. Interesting @etonmess20 you got all that, must have been the complaint haha! Although @HereToLearnAndShare also got more than me as I didn't get any email at all. Classic ACU

@welshpea thinking of you! It is so close. I will be going mental when it is my turn with the changing attitudes and moods!

@Welshpea it must be so difficult, heart goes out to you! Fingers crossed time speeds up a little for you! Are you doing anything nice this weekend to take your mind off it? How are you getting on with the pessaries? (if you don't mind me asking), was reading about them earlier & they sound awful & super messy!

Nothing like a pointless form is there 😂😂 I'll take it just in case (sods law they'll want it if I don't have it!).

@Vparisi mixed communication from the ACU?! I'm shocked 😂😂😂 honestly why are we surprised now?!

@Etonmess20 I'm working saturday and off sunday so will just be a chill weekend really :)

I read a lot about them being a bit gross but honestly i've found them fine. Definitely a panty liner job to save the underwear but they are the easiest thing. One thing they didn't mention but i did do is on morning of egg collection I did rectal instead and then went back to front end in the evening again as lots of ladies on peanut said that was better

@Welshpea ah nice, then it'll be Monday before you know it!
That's interesting you say about "changing holes" as I'd read similar but thought it was a slightly personal question to ask you 😂 that's definitely a top tip I'll be stealing!

@GJW2018 Hey! how are you holding up in the 2ww? i haven't caved and tested yet but it's killing me not knowing! Have you got any symptoms yet? x

Hey @Welshpea! I’m ok, yes not tested yet. I’m holding out till Monday I think however I’ve had awful upset stomach the last two days so cried over that yesterday that that’s probably ruined our chances. Was having mild cramps all week which I took as a good sign and after my upset stomach haven’t had any so feel like I’m out 🤷🏼‍♀️ What a time to get sick. I’ve never eaten so healthy and have barely left the house, so frustrating! How are you feeling? Xx

@Vparisi @HereToLearnAndShare thank you! Weird as it sounds I just feel in complete shock. I’d completely made my mind up that it hadn’t worked. Just took the test to confirm what I thought and the line came up straight away. Really can’t believe it. Just feeling sooooo grateful/relieved and keeping everything crossed that everything goes smoothly from here on out!

So excited for the rest of you to start! @becarefuloutthere do I just email them on Tuesday (OTD) and say that it was positive and ask for more meds? How long until they booked you in for a scan? Eeek the excitement has hit now! ✨

@GJW2018 I didn't even wait until otd! 😂
I called them the day i tested which was two days early. They then emailed me a couple hrs later confirming my scan date and ordered me more meds. It's so exciting isn't it!!

@becarefuloutthere ok cool I’ll email them in the morning. So exciting! I’ve carried the test around with me all day and just keep looking at it. Get butterflies every time I look at it 🦋

I also caved today ... definitely no second line so we are out for this transfer :(
