I would give up all dignity and hound them every minute of the day you can! The admin in that place is such a joke, like getting through the GP’s receptionist but 100x worse!!

Really hope you get some confirmation soon!!

@EmJay19 thank you, think my persistence has finally paid off, you shouldn't have to hound them but it clearly works. I said to the lady who called that their communication is just so awful & it makes it so much worse for us all!

@morganablue it’s such a head f*ck when you get a positive and then negative tests. I wonder if they will let you do a blood test to confirm? Praying for a miracle for you ✨

I’m on countdown to my transfer on Friday. I have just been on high alert with everyone around me having Covid and being surrounded by hundreds of kids and adults in school in this humidity! Stand back! 😂

@GJW2018 thank you again for the complaints email address...I had to wheel it out again this morning with a "I will be left with no option but to make a formal complaint" then the lovely Mary phoned & came through for me 🥰 I genuinely could have kissed her too!!

@Etonmess20 cannot believe yours is 10:45! It is my 29th birthday this weekend and DP just said it is probably your birthday too since we must be separated at birth hahaha

@EmJay19 I am so sorry to hear that it was not successful this time 😔 Assume not only your body needs a break, but you are mentally overwhelmed too. Hope you are planning a vacation or something to distract and prepare for the next cycle.

Thank you all for the support and chat. It’s been exactly what I needed. Infertility is a bastard and ivf is a head fuck but it is amazing!! And so is the ACU once you penetrate the bullshit.

I’m in recovery now (wine from the freezer and eating all the things I don’t usually have, including an Eton mess if I can be arsed @Etonmess20 😉). Poor DH just come home puking (probably norovirus 🤢) so I’m commiserating on my own.

I’m going to spend the next few weeks focusing on calorie counting apps 🥱 and getting lots of exercise in cause mentally I feel like if I’m in tip top shape I’ll give myself a better chance next time.

So I’m going to take a break and say goodbye and the bloody best of best luck to you all in the next stage of your treatment. You all deserve cute little babies and they will come, just not always as soon as we’d like.

@EmJay19 thank you for being my TWW twin!
I am not sure if any helpful, but I went to a nutritionist who set an healthy plan for me that helped me lose few kilos, whilst focusing on fertility(that was her expertise). Happy to share that with you, just PM!
I am also stocking on wine, in anticipation for tomorrow(and sushi!). Much love to you and will meet again when you are well recovered and ready!

@EmJay19 completely understandable to take a break, we'll always be here if you need us ❤️ focus on you as it takes much more out of you than you realise. You'll get there, life just doesn't always work in quite the way we want it to though! Take care xx

Hi lovelies, this is a quick update from us. Unfortunately our embaby did not stick and pregnancy tests came back negative. We are obviously a bit devastated, but will be gentle on ourselves today and work from home and try to do something positive this weekend. We need to retest in 7 days, but from today I have to stop all medications and awaiting for my period (the worst one apparently, after all the lot of meds!). We will shortly contact Guys to give them the result and be rebooked for a consultation on 4-6 weeks. Good news is we still have one embryo frozen, although of less quality, that we can transfer in the next months (under NHS) before starting all over again (and this time privately). We are gonna try to switch off a bit, so sorry in advance if not too responsive these next days. Meanwhile thanks you for all the support, it means a lot to me.
Fertility journey is really a B#!@!# so today is a bit of a blow, but out journey definitely continues and i will update you with next steps of FET.
Much love❤️ we will also have a glass of wine (me too finally) to 5AB as we are sure they try very hard!

@morganablue I am so so sorry to hear that. Definitely good to switch off and take a break from constantly talking about it but all here if you ever need. Fingers will be crossed for the frozen embaby. It is definitely a btch of an experience. Hope you take some time to heal, sending love x

I am planning on using Guy’s as I was a NHS referral there at first but now I will have to go private for my ivf as it will be for my second baby. Do you know how long do we have to wait to get an appointment in private, and how long after tha appointment we get to start the treatment? Thank you 😊

Hey @PicoUK75 unfortunately I am NHS so can't help, but NHS wait was 8 months from referral to start of treatment. I imagine private has to be much less! Good luck x
