@PicoUK75 sure. I thought the natural cycle was pretty easy. No drugs, just had to buy the ovulation strips and phone Guys when surging. They then booked me for the transfer and that was it. 11 day wait after that and then test. It’s probably worth mentioning that my period cycle is v regular, our frozen embryos were good quality and I was given good odds as have already had a child via ivf. So natural was a good option for us. It’s my partner who has the fertility (sperm) issue. Just waiting for the 8 week scan now. The fear never changes…

@WNorwoodJess oh amazing thanks. Congratulations!!! Apparently me or my partner don't have issues but I generally have only one mature follicle per month so probably not very doable with me then 😞 I had my first baby as soon as they gave me letrozole as I was not having my period anymore but now I do and I am quite regular but for some reason it is still not happening! So frustrating. They don't want to give me letrozole without IVF or IUI 😒

@PicoUK75 thank you. I think is definitely worth asking about natural anyway. I don’t think I had letrozole last time. Is IUI cheaper?

@WNorwoodJess yes iui is so much cheaper but unfortunately they have told me it is not worth it for me as I have unexplained infertility.

@HereToLearnAndShare exciting!! I just want the days to hurry up now, bet you're the same! I'm hoping AF doesn't arrive any earlier than 6th or else they'll need to move my appointment 😬

Do you know if you have to let them know CD1 regardless or only if it means your scan needs to be moved? (E.g if AF arrives on 5th my appointment is a day too late)

@Etonmess20 they’re pretty flexible I think the scan just needs to be between day 2-5, I just kept emailing then when I thought cycle day 1 would be based on when I ovulated

@Etonmess20 yes, it is! I am counting the days too! I was wondering the same and decided to let them know even if arrives as planed.
Have you received your medicine yet? I will need to chase them now.

@GJW2018 thank you! Reading between the lines I've been squeezed in a bit so she just said cus it's on day 4 I needed to let them know if it's early but just wanted to check I didn't have to tell them even if it isn't 😂 it's a minefield all this!

@HereToLearnAndShare no I haven't had any meds yet, she said that I should get them next Thursday & to chase if they haven't made contact with me by Wednesday. When were yours supposed to arrive?

@Etonmess20 oh interesting it can be on 4th!! Mine is day 2 and they said to let them know if anything changed. Have you got your drugs yet btw?

@Vparisi yeah she said basically between day 2 & 4 so AF is due Friday 6th but am a bit screwed if it comes Thursday as my scan will need to move forward so 🙏🏼 for Friday as it's less faff that having to change!

Hahaha it's ok, no meds yet - did you get something from them the day before to say they were coming or did they just turn up? The way she made it sound I don't have to do anything 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Etonmess20 basically after I got my scan booked I got a call from the drug company asking for a time to deliver then an email. So hopefully you get yours soon!

Thanks! I ended up getting my 2nd jab 3 weeks early this morning so I could be 100% protected. Going to Bath for the weekend now for my birthday so am going to enjoy all the hot tubs and saunas I can before it all starts! Haha x
