@strawberrysummer19 I had a suppositry too which they consented me for before EC. Wierd to think they did that while I was asleep 🙈🤣 no wind or squiffy tummy (if anything the opposite) but everyone is different

I didn't have any side effects either @strawberrysummer19. I had the same suppository after my hysteroscopy under general anesthetic though and did have an upset tummy. It could be a reaction to progesterone too. When I was having my transfer, the woman who went in before me said she'd had quite an upset tummy and they said it was likely the pessaries. I did have bad wind a couple of nights ago, was quite grim. It could be your hormones too.

I knew they would do the suppository because it came with my meds and I had to take them with me on the day - I had a painkiller and an antibiotic one 😖 glad I was out of it!

Egg collection done - 16 eggs collected so feeling pretty relieved. Had to have a suppository too - not the nicest and defo feeling a bit icky but now resting X

I'm bloated still though and still sore so I'm thinking that needs to subside really as it's day 3 tomorrow x

@strawberrysummer19 I think day 3 was the day I felt more myself again (although I wasn't unwell like you, I was sore and uncomfortable) 🤞 for you

@notyetamumbuttrying is your scan tomorrow? I hope you get your egg collection date - how many days of stims have you done now?

@VenusStarr that's what I'm thinking, I was quite ill so tomorrow is day 3 so hopefully turn that corner and that's what timeline the clinic have given me.

@VenusStarr well remembered, yeah it's tomorrow morning. It'll be 12 days tomorrow so I reckon I'll go on until Tuesday tbh! Will update on here afterwards.

Day 3 was the first day I went out for a walk @strawberrysummer19, so hopefully you feel better tomorrow. I can't remember if you said you get a day 3 embaby update?

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm hoping for you, I only stimmed for 9 days and my tummy felt sore, so hopefully not much longer for you now.
I'm doing OK thank you, still in the hope zone 🙏🥰

@VenusStarr thank you. Yeah mine started hurting then too! It was the day of my first scan so was hoping that they'd be ready but nope! More menopur came today as well as I would've ran out by tomorrow I reckon. The nurse seemed sure that'd I'd need another scan Tuesday as well so not expecting a date tomorrow but would like to see some growth! Aw the hope zone sounds nice 😊 next weds is test day right?

@notyetamumbuttrying same thing happened to me, I needed more menopur and stimmed for 13 days in the end but I was ready by day 8!!! But those extra days did get my extra follies going

@VenusStarr no day 3 update which I'm quite surprised about! My clinic have been more than amazing but I would say that would be one thing that would make it better.
The only thing is they've asked me to call in re my symptom update on how I'm feeling so I'm figuring that's sort of an update in a way even though I don't know how they are doing! I'm hoping we have some! Feel better knowing we have 7 otherwise if it was a couple like we first thought I'd be more anxious

I thought I'd be more anxious but think the thought of not maybe making it to ET due to this possible OHSS is taking my mind of it!!!

@strawberrysummer19 my OHSS lasted about 48 hours and I felt more or less normal by day 3. Hope you continue to feel better! I am gearing up for my own OHSS now as ovulation slated for Sunday and I have at good 20 follicles (I’m not having EC, I only took stims to thicken my lining)

@TinyPaws those are really good numbers and headings! Hope they all continue to progress until day 5!

I had my final scan today and my lining was 8mm (a small miracle!) so I get to trigger today and then transfer next Friday! I am a bit worried though as when they measured my bloods today, my progesterone was 1.6 Ng/ml, whereas the upper limit is 1.5 (normally my clinic cancels the cycle if it goes beyond that threshold). They are allowing me to go ahead as I am so close to the threshold but I was warned it could harm the chances of implantation so I am now really worried about that...especially considering I have already had 4 unsuccessful transfers...

@Tarsette oh that's really interesting as when I've looked it up it can last 7-10 days so if that's the case then ET is definitely off the cards for me.

All in all mine hasn't been bad in respect that if this is now done and leaving my system then I can cope with that! If you were me would you go for ET with how I feel now ? I feel so borderline - my Boyf said why risk it and just do FET but where I feel so well now and it's only been 2 days since EC I still have tomorrow to feel lots better
I will tell all to clinic though
The main thing is this wind ! And a bit bloated but nothing too bad at all now x

@Tarsette good luck for trigger and transfer! Here's hoping this one is successful if you're so close to the threshold this time. All will be crossed for you!

@notyetamumbuttrying yes it was day 13 for me but I still had one dose of menopur left so they told me to use that dose as normal then I triggered at 2am as my EC was at 2pm

I had enough stims for 10 days but needed to
But another set as they were slow to grow then they then flew !!!

I’m doing okay thanks lovely. Becoming more nervous about OTD with every passing day (as Wed feels quite near now) but equally hoping I at least make it to that day with a fighting chance. Going to curl up and eat pizza in front of the tele to celebrate making it to Friday! I think we all deserve all the treats for going through this process ♥️ Xx

@strawberrysummer19 I had a diclofenac suppositry put up the bum during EC. I felt really rough day of EC (wasn't sick though) but bounced back after that. I had the runs and a bit of an upset bowel but had that the whole time I took cyclogest (everyone else seems to get constipation!)

@Tarsette Its interesting the only way they can get your lining to grow is to stim you despite not collecting eggs. Glad your lining is nice and thick!

@strawberrysummer19 thank you! I've heard lots of protein can help so trying to get it in where I can.
@Flissa7 ah it's you that's Wednesday, I got you mixed up earlier. Sounds like a perfect Friday night in! I'm having spicy prawns with egg fried rice (homemade).

@strawberrysummer19 so glad you are feeling a bit better today! I also had a suppository at my egg collection and my stomach hasn't been right since (constipation and trapped wind mainly) although better than it was not completely back to normal yet...

@C1aire85 ahh that's great news 16 is a great number I bet your well chuffed. How did you find EC and Bourn hall(cambs) ?? Hope you have managed to rest up today and take it easy for the next few days 👍 and Yea the gowns are not the most flattering 😂
