Just catching up on all the recent the news!
@notyetamumbuttrying, @Bells3032 & @StrongEagle Congratulations on all of your BFP results! So pleased for you all! ❤️❤️❤️

Nervouslywaiting · 15/06/2021 09:13

@notyetamumbuttrying @StrongEagle @Bells3032 - omg congrats ladies!!
So it was my OTD as well today and I too have had a BFP 😁 still trying to take it all in!

Georgie87B · 15/06/2021 09:24

@Nervouslywaiting ahh congrats to you too!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Great news!!

StrongEagle · 15/06/2021 09:27

@Nervouslywaiting congrats!!! 😘😘

notyetamumbuttrying · 15/06/2021 09:27

@Nervouslywaiting yay 😁 congratulations 🥳 it's so hard to take in isn't it!! I've just rang the nurses and they're gonna book my scan in 😬
@Georgie87B thank you darlin 😘

Nervouslywaiting · 15/06/2021 09:31

Thank you all - I've got my scan booked for the 6th of July - roll on July 😄

2mumlife · 15/06/2021 09:40

@notyetamumbuttrying Congratulations! When is OTD for you? I never had a plunger for cyclogest (only utrogestan), but yes you want it up close to your cervix (but obviosuly don't impale yourself!)

I'm 4dp5dt and not bleeding, which is better than I got to last time, so trying just to embrace that as a positive today. I'm normally an early tester and really don't fancy testing this cycle. I just want to try to remain in a hopeful place for a bit longer. My OTD is 10dp5dt as my clinic do blood testing, and I'd just love to actually make it to OTD this time without bleeding.

notyetamumbuttrying · 15/06/2021 09:52

@Nervouslywaiting mines booked for the 12th July 😬
@2mumlife thank you, on Thursday. Yeah that's the one I take. Haha noted! 😏
Good luck for next week then!! Will have fingers crossed 🤞🏾

TheSnufflet · 15/06/2021 17:40

@Tarsette so sorry to hear about the BFN x

Congratulations @notyetamumbuttrying, @nervouslywaiting, @Bells3032 and @StrongEagle 🙂

@2mumlife that's really positive that you've made it further than last time - hang onto that 🙂 and good for you for not testing yet! I'm fully expecting to cave early 😂

@Girlwholifts ooh what's Pergoveris? it's mindblowing how many different drugs they can put you on! when I had my previous scans I had 12 on my left ovary and three big ones on my right (underperfoming) ovary. I did have a baseline scan but was so nervous I forgot to ask what the follicle count was 😂

Soooo slightly gutted in that I'm on day 11 and seem to have been put on too low a dose (150IU) of Gonal F - my lining is at a good thickness (9.1mm) and I have two follicles on my right ovary and eight on my left, but the biggest ones are only at 19mm, with the smallest only at 5... I was hoping I'd get to trigger tomorrow and have EC on Friday, but this is now totally out of the window and I've been bumped up to 225iU in the meantime 😔 they've also said I'm going to have to have EC and ET at the Cambridge clinic instead, which is over a 2hr drive and a bit of a pain in the arse if I'm honest, especially if you have to drop everything at short notice 😒 @Georgie87B do you know if they do any procedures at the weekend? I'm trying to mentally pencil in when retrieval is likely to be, I'm guessing if they don't do weekends it'll be Monday?

Georgie87B · 15/06/2021 18:13

@TheSnufflet ahh I'm sorry to hear your dosage has been too low and you now need to travel further. I think Cambridge do open Saturdays as I had EC On a Thursday and they told me that they would either do a 2 or a 5 day transfer so either the saturday or Monday (was Monday in the end). But everyone in Cambridge is really nice and will look after you 😊 hope you get confirmed date soon! Xx

2mumlife · 15/06/2021 19:02

@TheSnufflet Slow and steady wins the race! Honestly I think the not wanting to test is partly the mindfulness working to make me more relaxed and actively staying positive.

2mumlife · 17/06/2021 07:55

So.... this morning 6dp5dt I had some weird brown discharge, so I did a FRER, and...ITS POSITIVE! I really can't believe it, after 4 IUIs and a fresh transfer, I've never once seen that little pink line, but its definitely there Shock

My OTD is Monday which for me is a blood test rather than POAS, which I know is not nearly as long to wait as many people for OTD but it feels like ages now when I just want clinic to confirm this is actually it! I've never made it to the OTD before without AF so it feels so surreal!

becarefuloutthere · 17/06/2021 08:34

@2mumlife congratulations 🥳 do another frer in 48 hours if you can wait that long. It's notyetamumbuttrying btw, I name changed! It's my otd today and the line is still there thank god! Booked in for a scan in a few weeks!

Georgie87B · 17/06/2021 09:06

@2mumlife ahh that's great news congratulations!! 🎉🎉 Hopefully Monday comes round quick for you and your line gets thicker by the day!! Xx

Bells3032 · 17/06/2021 09:13

@2mumlife congrats!! that's great news!

@becarefuloutthere so pleased line is still there for you and you have your scan booked in!! 👍 Got my viability scan next Tuesday it can't come round quick enough! Xx

2mumlife · 17/06/2021 09:21

@becarefuloutthere aww thats a lovely way of commemorating your OTD! So pleased your line is still there - I have enough FRER to test every day now until OTD so I can see this being a new morning routine.

@Georgie87B Fingers crossed for your viability scan! How have you been feeling?

@Bells3032 Thank you! Fx for some more positives yet!

becarefuloutthere · 17/06/2021 09:32

@Georgie87B thank you 😊 ooh next Tuesday is not far away now, how exciting! Please keep us updated!
@2mumlife hehe thanks. Yay to being fully stocked on the FRER's! 👏🏾 it'll defo be your new morning routine! I had a frer left yesterday so did it then and did my blue dye one from the nhs this morning. Got one of them left so will do it tomorrow and then my digitalis should arrive 😅 it'll be nice to see the weeks hopefully increasing so I probably shouldn't do that until next week now.

Georgie87B · 17/06/2021 09:37

@2mumlife I am feeling very lucky to still be feeling OK so far!! Exactly 7 weeks today and only getting slight nausea on the odd occasion usually when I am hungry, also Am very tired and boobs are getting MASSIVE and very tender 😂 hope your feeling OK xx

2mumlife · 17/06/2021 10:34

@becarefuloutthere How many weeks do the digitals go up to?

@Georgie87B Exciting milestone to be 7 weeks! I felt a lot of mild cramping this time around, some increase in cervical fluid and some nipple sensitivity / feeling very aware of my boobs - but all of that can just be the progesterone. I've also been tired (but that might just be being back at work after annual leave!) and possibly some temp changes - when we went for an evening walk yesterday DP was chilly in jumper and I was just in tshirt and felt fine.

becarefuloutthere · 17/06/2021 12:20

@2mumlife 3+ weeks! X

@clolo i tried to though i'll admit i sometimes forget. I just bought a box from the local pharmacy - they're pretty cheap. I don't think any meds come with them.

Saying that my DH's been injecting for years (menopur and gonasi) and never uses them.

@clolo my gonal f pens didn't come with wipes also so I just ordered a pack on amazon they are pretty cheap but don't think they were alcohol based ones. I don't think it really matters too much though just some antibacterial soap and water is probably just as good. 😊 Good luck with your injection tonight!! Xx
