By the way for anyone worried about not having symptoms in the TWW, I had loads this time round (sore boobs, nausea, cramping) and yet it’s a BFN so I reckon most of them are due to the pessaries anyway…

@Tarsette oh I'm so sorry. This doesn't seem like a good cycle for most of us. Hopefully we can get some BFP soon!

I'm really nervous now to do mine on Tuesday....

So after our cancelled cycle this month we weren't in much mood for hanky panky. We had sex once all month and yet this has somehow happened. I'd been feeling a bit off the last few days.

I am in shock. Dh's sperm count is less than a million with less than 1% motility thanks to his childhood cancer.

So anxious now and totally in shock

I'm the same as you that I have a child already but also want a second. I have only done one transfer but I also have only budgeted for one more so really feel like there's little point. I know I shouldn't. We are having a couple of months off as partner wants at least that ( need to save for meds ) and it's been pretty tough going dieting and just thinking about ivf constantly so I do agree with him but I also have this feeling like maybe it's not meant to be
I thought I'd be chomping at the bit to go again but I'm not

Anyone else feel like this ?

I'm now worried I'm actually 8 weeks and we had all the ivf drugs whilst I was pregnant as my period was super light and late last month. But I took like three tests and they were all stark white last month so I don't think so, that's not possible right? My hormones would have been wrong.

@Bells3032 I would say as you tested negative and a bleed I would be more inclined to say you are pregnant this cycle

Maybe check this concern with the clinic and also can you book an early scan to be on safe side ? X

Thanks ladies, your kind words mean a lot. Today has been really tough. I feel like IVF is all I have been doing and thinking about for the past 2 years and I now have this huge empty space with nothing to fill it with. After each previous setback, there was always a next step, but not this time…

@strawberrysummer19 yes I would take a couple months off if I were you! Having a few breaks along the way is what kept me sane… I am ok the older side (41 now) so always felt the clock ticking but if she is not an issue, give yourself a good long break.

@Bells3032 Something super similar happened on the Feb/March forum I followed, a lovely lady got pregnant naturally with 1 HP whilst they were in PGS testing wait. Congrats!

I cracked and tested yesterday and today (twice because I am going crazy). I am 6dp6dt and I got a line, it's so so faint. Trying so hard to not get carried away and I'm so so scared x x

@Bells3032 that is amazing!! Massive congrats to you!! I love seeing BFP pregnancy tests! Your post gives me so much hope (my DPs morphology is 1% and I have a low AMH) that we could get pregnant naturally too!

@Bells3032 out of interest do you know how close to ovulation you dtd?

@StrongEagle I have low amh too (about 6) at 32. So it's a total shock on so many counts to concevie naturally.

@Louweeze I have never really tracked my cycle well and we certainly weren't this month after the cancelled cycle. We had a very unromantic month so there's only one day it could have happened (bank holiday monday). So assume it was around then

@Bells3032 so you were on stims this month and then your cycle was cancelled wasn't it? Does that mean it's possible you could have released more than one egg?

@Louweeze yes that's right. it's possible but the folicles just weren't growing which is why it was cancelled.

I really hope it's not multiple. Tbh it's a miracle that even one of my dh's boys got through. I'd be very surprised if more than one did

@bells3032 that's amazing! We have had very similar issues and had to cancel. We used the trigger shot and just went for it for several days after as Dr said it was worth a shot. We had two decent sized follicles because we upped stims two days before cancelling.

It has now been 16 days past trigger and two BFN but no AF. No spotting or anything so just quite frustrated and frankly afraid to test again.

@Louweeze I did a test today and it's much darker so I am definitely more comfortable saying it's a BFP!

So scared because the grade was 4BC so I think there is much more chance of chemical with a lower grade, I'm sure I read that somewhere xxx

@StrongEagle defo a BFP!! They still don't fully understand how to best grade embryos top quality ones fail while "lower" grade ones work a treat. Try not to worry this is so exciting for you! Is this your first?

@Aubaslice sorry to hear that. we never did a trigger shot we cancelled 6 days into stims as the follicles were just not growing at all really. I'd had two previous rounds that went far better (with 5 frosties in the freezer for baby 2) and they decided to wait til next month. My Dh's count is so low we didn't think we had a chance of natural conception - we never even considered it an option!

@StrongEagle that looks like a clear BFP to me - even the previous one is deff not a squinter! congrats! don't worry too much about the grading - it's basically just how pretty it looks not how strong it is. if you conceived naturally you'd have no idea what grade it was!

Yes it's my first 😁 and this is so true we would never know the grade if it wasn't for IVF and I wouldn't know about chemical pregnancies either. It's almost like too much knowledge isn't good x

I'm clearly a testing addict now as I just got up at 7.30 to go to the shops for a clearblue digital. It's just amazing seeing the words x
